However, as more and more teachers joined the discussion, some sharp voices began to emerge.
"I donāt think this student could have achieved this score on his own!"
"There must be something else going on!"
"In my opinion, this student must have cheated!"
The other teachers also had their doubts, seeing how little time Zhang Yi had taken to clear the first three waves of Clan invasions. However, none of them dared to voice their suspicions so bluntly, expressing themselves in much more tactful ways.
Sure enough,
when Zhang Yiās homeroom teacher, Guo Aiqing, heard this, her anger instantly flared.
"Watch your mouth, Teacher Bai."
"Clean it up!"
"Just because your students canāt do it doesnāt mean mine canāt."
"Only losers gawk and say something is impossible. The people who can actually do it have already proven it with their actions."
Staring at the gaudily dressed Teacher Bai across from her, Guo Aiqing shot back without holding anything back.
This Teacher Bai was merely the niece of the first-year grade director.
Relying on her connections, she dressed so ostentatiously every day,
with no sense of professional decorum.
Guo Aiqing had long since grown tired of her antics.
Today, she didnāt hesitate to shut her down in front of all the other teachers,
and instantly, Guo Aiqing felt a wave of satisfaction wash over her. āThat felt good!ā
"What did you just say? You bitch!"
"Who do you think youāre calling a bitch?"
"Let me tell you, Iāve seen plenty of teachers like you who act all prim and proper on the outside, but who knows how much of a slut you really are on the inside!"
Teacher Bai Qinās foul mouth spewed shocking accusations!
As expected, Guo Aiqing immediately fired back.
"You f***ingā!"
Seeing the two teachersā argument about to blow up,
the principal, Tang Weihua, who had been standing to the side, finally stepped in as he watched the situation escalate.
Principal Tang Weihua walked between the two quarreling teachers, his voice low and dignified:
"Enough!"
"This is an examination site. Please, both of you, show some self-respect!"
As soon as the principal spoke, Bai Qin and Guo Aiqing immediately stopped arguing, but the animosity between them was still palpable.
Principal Tang Weihua turned to Bai Qin and said sternly:
"Teacher Bai, your claims are baseless.
The Celestial Gaze Mirror itself is a Divine Artifact designed to prevent cheating, and it clearly records every change within each studentās Divine Realm.
If there was any cheating, the system would have immediately raised an alarm."
Bai Qin wanted to argue back, but seeing the principal had intervened,
she could only purse her lips and say grudgingly, "But a score like this is just too abnormal..."
"Abnormal is not the same as fraudulent," Principal Tang Weihua cut in.
"Innovation and breakthroughs are precisely the goals of our education.
If you have doubts about this score, you can file a formal application for the deanās office to organize an investigation, instead of making irresponsible remarks here."
Bai Qinās face flushed red, and she was at a loss for words.
Principal Tang Weihua then turned to Guo Aiqing:
"Teacher Guo, as a homeroom teacher, you should also maintain proper restraint in a public setting.
Itās fine to defend your student, but your methods must be appropriate."
Guo Aiqing nodded in apology. "My apologies, Principal."
"I just canāt accept someone slandering my student without any evidence."
"I understand how you feel." The principal smiled slightly, then said to all the teachers present,
"Everyone, our focus should be on the studentsā performance, not on pointless arguments."
"However, since many teachers are puzzled by this studentās score,
I will use my authority as principal to replay the footage of this studentās exam, using the records from the Celestial Gaze Mirror!"
"This should put some teachers at ease!"
"Our examinations are absolutely fair and just!"
"Of course, during this process, if any teacher discovers evidence of cheating, they are welcome to point it out at any time."
"We welcome everyoneās scrutiny!"
"What do you think, Teacher Guo?"
"Let everyone be a witness. The innocent have nothing to hide!"
Principal Tang Weihua proposed his solution, then looked toward Guo Aiqing.
"I have no objection!"
Guo Aiqingās agreement was swift,
which assuaged the doubts of many of the teachers.
What these teachers didnāt know was that the reason Guo Aiqing had agreed so quickly, completely unafraid of any surprises,
was because Principal Tang Weihua was her uncle.
āAn uncle would never set up his own niece, would he?ā
"Now, I will have the Celestial Gaze Mirror call up the footage of this studentās Divine Realm during the first three invasion waves!"
The teachers all nodded, their attention returning to the Celestial Gaze Mirror.
Soon, the Celestial Gaze Mirror displayed footage of Zhang Yi facing the first three waves of invading Clans.
In the image, Zhang Yiās Wood Elf Corps had arranged themselves in formation.
With their backs to the Dawn Forest, the Wood Elf Corps formed a crescent-shaped battle line.
The front rank of Wood Elf Warriors held shields to form a defensive line, the middle rank of Archers stood ready, and the rear rank of Natural Elf Casters stood on slightly higher ground with a clear field of view.
"Itās clearly a Wood Elf Clan, so why are there other Elves in the back?" a teacher asked in surprise.
One of the teachers who had witnessed Zhang Yiās divine battle against Li Boyang whispered an explanation to him.
"Look at the equipment on these Wood Elvesāitās all high-quality Iron Weapons!"
"And those Archers arenāt using ordinary Bows and Arrows, either!" another teacher with extensive knowledge of Divine Realms commented.
The Celestial Gaze Mirror showed the first invading Clan: a group of about fifty Lizardman infantry, poorly equipped with only leather armor and Wooden Spears.
Feiyana raised her Long Sword and gave the order: "All Wood Elf Archers, take aim!"
Sixty Wood Elf Archers drew their bows simultaneously, awaiting the command.
When the Lizardmen entered range, Feiyana shouted, "Fire!"
A rain of arrows poured down like a storm, and the first volley took down more than half of the Lizardmen.
The remaining enemies continued to charge, but a second volley rained down, killing most of them.
In the end, after two volleys of arrows, only a handful of Lizardmen were left alive.
Then, a few Wood Elf Divine Archers with good aim easily picked off the remaining few.
The entire process took no more than three minutes, with no casualties on the Wood Elf side.
"Incredible!" a teacher couldnāt help but exclaim.
At this, Teacher Bai, the one who had accused Zhang Yi of cheating, began to look pale.
The second invasion wave consisted of more powerful Kobold Warriors. They were smarter than the Lizardmen and knew how to use shields to block arrows.
There were also more of themāone hundred in total.
However, Feiyana didnāt change her strategy. She simply ordered the Wood Elves to prepare another volley.
When the Kobolds came within 300 meters of the Wood Elf Corps,
the Iron Arrows from the Wood Elf Archers easily pierced the Koboldsā crude shields.
With just two volleys of arrows, the Kobolds, who had managed to get closer than the Lizardmen had, were instantly killed. The entire force was wiped out!
