Now the Hell Transport Team has replenished the sulfur fuel for all the factories along the lake, leaving more than 20 special forces and a vice hero at each factory for garrison.
The sight of these tall humanoid troops, wielding long-handled giant axes with dragon heads and lizard tails, breathing with a hint of fire, left a deep impression on Da Fei. Needless to say, this is a powerful troop with dragon blood, likely capable of breathing fire. In fact, there are quite a number of dragon-blooded creatures among the Hell Race, the most famous being the elite version of the level 3 unit Hellhound, the Dragon Breath Hellhound. All three heads of these Hellhounds can breathe fire, with effects akin to Dragon Breath, earning them the nickname Little Red Dragons, terrifying and completely different from ordinary Hellhounds.
Even so, Da Fei still doesnāt think these dragon-blood units are a match for his Angel Army with Holy Flame Body, not to mention the vice hero left behind is unlikely to be a match unless they reach Tasimaās level.
So the question now is, to kill them or not? This is the difference between Path of Zero Kill and Path of Ten Thousand Killings.
If they are killed, undoubtedly, Hellās Side will send even stronger heroes or powerful flying troops. If they arenāt, the Holy Vine Space is starving; this cannot be tolerated!
After much hesitation, Da Fei decided to hold back and use the Path of Zero Kill to observe the situation. After all, the Holy Vine Space already has a thousand Great Demon corpses waiting to be digested, so donāt bite off more than you can chew.
The plan is set, time to act. With the Super Space Transmitter enhancing the teleportation, the Flying easily transported back and forth, only taking two trips to appear above the factory.
The next moment, Deirdreās Divine Artifact, Triple Curse Black Light, descended from the sky. Just now, Da Fei was cautious not to frighten his Japanese classmates too much, so he refrained from using this great killer move; now against NPCs, there is no need to hold back.
Then the Angel Army swooped down, each pair pinning down the Dragon Men, only defending without attacking! Da Fei believes that whether itās the Angelsā Blood Defense or Holy Flame Body, they can completely withstand these Dragon Men, practically standing there and letting them attack.
Elena and Selvia kept a close watch on the Demon Heroes from above, ready to interrupt them if they dared to cast spells. Meanwhile, Anliciaās God-level Illusion Army summoned thousands of Flower Demons to appear in the mist, further confusing the enemyās judgment.
Then in the next moment, Tamilia opened the Holy Vine Space Gate, and the long-lost Nasir Ancient Tree burst forth. Its role was still to attract firepower and block the door, preventing the Hell Corps from threatening the Transport Teamās safety.
Just as Da Fei expected, the Dragon Men did indeed breathe fire but posed no significant threat to the Angel Army! The feeling of having everything under control, so satisfying!
With nothing more to say, Da Fei waved his hand, and under Deirdreās lead, the Artillery Emperor Vine Demon and Flower Demon Forest Goddess Army charged into the factory again, resuming their diligent worker bee activity!
At this moment, the campās alarm rang out underground once more, and a tide of Demon Army swarmed towards the factory. But in Da Feiās eyes, this was no different from before.
With over 500 units of sulfur quickly stored back, Da Fei waved his hand in satisfaction: "Retreat! Next one!"
At 8:30 PM Beijing Time, Da Fei shuttled rapidly across the lake shore of the Pool of Radiance, coming and going like the wind, treating the garrison as nonexistent, ransacking all the factories again, and obtaining over 4000 units of sulfur. Now Da Feiās Holy Vine Space was filled with over 7000 units of sulfur, unable to carry more.
As Sain would say, with so many resources as fuel, it would be enough for the Sky Ship to circle the New World several times, but Da Feiās immediate task wasnāt to circle the world, but to find a way to offload the goods!
It seems there is no other way but to return and make a trade. The problem is, going back would be tantamount to giving Japanās main troops a way out, wouldnāt it? Having promised to hold them off all night and then letting them escape would be a profound disappointment to the Chinese peopleās expectations, wouldnāt it?
Suddenly, an idea struck Da Fei! As a high-level player, going back to town to hand over tasks to NPCs isnāt impressive; getting NPCs to leave the city to find you and hand over the taskāto sweep in and salvage the situationāis impressive. Whether it works or not, itās worth a try! What if it succeeds?
Da Fei then instructed Deirdre: "I have a task for you: return to town and invite General Ragnar to come and inspect the front lines, to guide our next move."
Deirdre was taken aback: "Let the General come out? That seems unlikely, right?"
Da Fei coughed lightly and said: "Then just have him send a deputy officer or observer out, isnāt that fine? Iām here monitoring enemy movements and canāt leave. If he really wonāt come out, then so be it."
Deirdre responded with an "Oh": "Okay, Iāll do my best!" After speaking, she soared into the air, flying towards the direction of the Pool of Radianceās Central Island base.
At this moment, the Bright Allianceās undercover players from Japan in the Central Island base at the Pool of Radiance were idly wandering around. For them, it was impossible to take quests to help the Elf Kingdom, and with nothing left to sabotage, there was indeed nothing to do. The only thing left was to keep an eye on when Da Fei would return.
Even so, Japanese players noticed an abnormality with the NPC General. The General became excited, exuberant, and began pacing back and forth in the camp, occasionally crouching to the ground to listen with his ear.
Needless to say, he was likely listening for movements from the lake shoreās Earthquake Factory, and seeing his expression, it was clear Da Fei had achieved tremendous progress. The scene at the base, reflecting on the Mitsubishi Command Centerās big screen, was both disheartening and hopeful.
Disheartening in that Da Fei had most likely destroyed all the factories and slaughtered all the troops, completing the task with ease. With Da Feiās kind of high technology, even a pig could easily oust opponents in all directions. The hope was that Da Feiās high-profile task completion would certainly prompt NPC Demon Kings to dispatch demons with combat power equal to Beelzebub, implying a stroke of luck for the Mitsubishi Team, directly giving them access to high-level Demon Army.
Of course, all of this was speculation, to verify any of it, they would have to log in. But this time, no one dared to log in. Currently, Da Fei had enough time to wipe out all the troops in the base, and once the Mitsubishi Team members logged in, they would be left as Commanders, dying would spell the end of battle and result in equipment drop! If they were to die repeatedly, even the Divine Artifacts could be exploded out.
Exploding equipment might be a minor issue, but repeating the same mistake thrice, turning Japan into a laughingstock globally for three times, was no minor issue! The Mitsubishi Team couldnāt face the wrath of all Japanese players, neither could they offer any explanation to the higher-ups of the Mitsubishi Consortium!
So no matter how restless, helpless, or bitter the Mitsubishi Team felt, they had no choice but to wait, wait for Da Fei to return.
Just then, the Japanese team members on site noticed something: "Da Feiās Banshee Hero has returned!"
Vice Hero returned? What could a Vice Hero do upon returning? Vice Heroes canāt substitute players in handing over tasks! Why didnāt Da Fei himself return? With these questions in mind, the Mitsubishi Team watched on coldly, with Japanese players present approaching the General and the Banshee to try and overhear their conversation.
Usually, when players trigger storylines and accept quests with NPCs, it is done in a one-on-one dialogue mode, and neighboring players canāt hear the conversation. However, dialogues between NPCs are typically public, and nearby players can hear them.
At this moment, Da Feiās Banshee Hero, smiling, flew towards the Elf General and saluted: "Hello, General. Our army has made significant progress on the front lines, but there are some inconvenient urgent military matters so we canāt return. Would the General be able to send a deputy officer to our front line to guide our next actions?"
The General, overwhelmed with joy, exclaimed: "As expected of a Warrior! I can no longer hear the machines in Hell by the lake shore, the Warrior really has achieved significant progress! No need to send a deputy officer; Iām idle anyway, Iāll personally come and take a look!" He then shouted: "Deputy officer, prepare the ship!"
Deirdre cheered: "As expected of the General! Allow me to lead the way!"
Watching the General board the ship with the Banshee and leave the harbor, the Mitsubishi Team erupted in amazement!
Igarashi exclaimed in shock: "That Da Fei could actually get NPCs to leave the city! What an enormous advancement! Has the base really been flattened by Da Fei?"
Tsukamoto said in a deep voice: "This is Da Fei making NPCs voluntarily go out to hand over tasks to him. Da Feiās real goal is to guard our Resurrection Point; we just have to wait."
Igarashiās face turned livid: "That scum!" (To be continued. If you like this work, welcome to Qidian (qidian.com) to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my biggest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.com.)
