Chapter 244 â Go.
Each of them was ready to go to war. But you donât just walk into war without a plan.
Especially when the enemies youâre about to face are beings that could crush you with ease.
Soâ
"We at least have to allocate each domain to one person or a group," Noah said, standing in the center as the women encircled him.
"Iâm listening. Any of you want to fight a particular opponent?"
He had barely finished the question when he added casually, his voice still smiling but now layered with a coldness they all picked up onâ
"Iâm taking all of Sylphiraâs domain for myself."
The moment he said that, they understood. Instinctively, their gazes slid toward Sari, who stood there calmly with that little smile of hers.
And they couldnât help it.
Just for a second, they envied her.
After all, Noah was willingly taking on an entire domain and an Original, for her. Well, partly for her.
"We already told you! Red and I are going for Ebony!" Anya declared with a wide, eager grin.
Her body practically trembled with anticipation at the thought of facing that woman obsessed with order.
And Red, right beside her, wore the exact same grin. They looked like two best friends about to burn down a world for fun.
Truly chaotic.
Noah sighed, "You can go for her. But letâs be honest here, ladies....Ebonyâs going to smash you."
He shrugged, expression unbothered.
"You wonât die or suffer the way Sari did... but youâll definitely feel pain."
Anya and Red turned to him, betrayal all over their faces.
The others laughed and snickered openly at their reaction.
"Arenât you supposed to believe in us, Noah?" Anya said with a comically wronged tone.
Noah smiled.
"Iâm an honest man. But I do believe in you."
"Still, Shadevaâs already made big preparations in that domain. Sheâs more suited for Ebony. Letâs leave that to her."
"And you two,my dear destruction lovers, youâll face Mortis. Heâs also an Original like Ebony, but his power is even more troublesome."
"He can corrode anything and whatever he corrodes, he gains a piece of it."
"So be careful... and show me you can take on a Law Creator as Mythic-ranked beings." Noah smiled as he said this, and the two wild girls grinned even wider, giving each other an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
Noah shook his head.
"Eric, Rouge, and Malrik will also go into Mortisâs domain. Eric will lead, since he knows more about it."
"The Golden Commanderâs army will be split in twoâhalf will assist Eric, the other half will raid and either subjugate or eliminate the shadows living outside the City of Order."
"As for the rest of you, there are many commanders under Mortis and other Originals. Pick one that suits your taste. Two against one is fine. Weâre not here to play fair."
He paused.
Letting his words sink in.
"You understand me?"
"Yes," they answered in perfect unison.
A voice then spoke, quieter but filled with steel.
"Is there no possibility for me to fight alongside you in Sylphiraâs domain, my son? I want to avenge my shadow too."
Seleneâs voice was cold and sharp with bloodlust, and inside of her, Luminara silently agreed.
Noah smiled faintly.
"Just let me have this one, Mother," he said softly.
He hadnât been strong enough to avenge Laehâand it still haunted him. But now, with the matter concerning Sari, he had a chance.
And this time, he was going to do it thoroughly.
He was going to make them remember.
Because how could he call himself a worthy master, a true leader, if he couldnât protect the ones who followed him?
He had to.
He wanted to.
And so... he would.
Selene understood that and accepted it. Even if a part of her still wanted vengeance, she knew Noah needed this more.
A true, exemplary woman.
Once everything was decided and each person knew where to go, silence settled between them.
They all turned to Noah.
Their expressions were calm, but their eyes were focused.
Noah met their gazes, and smiled beautifully.
"Tell me... are you all feeling confident now? Do you believe youâll all survive?"
They nodded without hesitation.
"So you only needed six years to feel this strong? This ready?" he asked, smiling again but not waiting for an answer.
"Imagine what three or six more years couldâve done."
"Maybe then, you wouldnât feel even a flicker of fear."
He paused again.
"But thatâs not the point."
"What I really want to say is this, donât fear them. Donât stress. Donât hesitate."
"Youâre more talented. Youâre more gifted. Youâre more... special."
"So go...go show them what weâre made of."
"Show them the might of our family."
"You think you can do that?" Noah asked, smirking.
The women smirked back.
"Thatâs easy, son. Iâll show them why Iâm your mother," Selene said proudly.
"Donât worry. Theyâll feel pain today... deep soul pain," Elira added with a cold glint in her eyes.
"Itâs been a while since I fought. My lightningâs been craving it," Sophie chimed in with a feral grin.
One by one, they all voiced their confidence, each in their own way.
It made Noahâs heart thrum with satisfaction.
"So..."
He took a single step forward.
"Letâs go."
He vanished.
And one by one, all the women followed, disappearing from the room, each heading toward their chosen battlefield.
The moment they were gone, as if signaled by fate itself, Eric and his team disappeared too following the Golden Commander and his elite army.
All of them headed straight into the Shadow Realm.
Their arrival didnât go unnoticed.
The moment they stepped foot inside, a flurry of new presences were felt all across the realm.
The siblings of the Originals stirred.
They immediately took action, trying to figure out who were the intruders.
And what a surprise it was, to find themselves face-to-face with unknown beings theyâd never seen before.
But the moment the Elysiari team entered the Shadow Realm, something happened.
They transformed.
Every single one of them, including Noah, took on their Elysiari forms.
Because this... this was no longer practice.
This was their official debut.
And they had to make sure that the enemy remembered who they were.
And if the shadows didnât know of them before...
Then this was the perfect moment to find out.
And so, officially...
The battle had begun.
