Chapter 2304 - 1994: Sis, I Could Never Lie to You

Zhou Xiaoxiao frowned, staring into Zhou Youyou’s eyes: "Youyou, do you even realize what you’re saying?"

She herself had done such things with humans, but now she also wanted to pull her into this, making her participate in such acts with humans? They were Mysterious beings; how could they engage in such acts with humans who were merely blood food?

Zhou Youyou pouted, having already brought up the subject, she didn’t care whether it was possible or not.

She then said with a pout: "If sister doesn’t want to, then forget it. Anyway, I’ll be returning to the Zhen Nan Prince Manor and continue my Dual Cultivation with that person. Once I break through to the Earth Realm, sister will know whether what I said is true."

Seeing Zhou Youyou in this manner, Zhou Xiaoxiao wondered: Could her sister’s words really be true?

Could it be possible that there was indeed a human full of vitality, who could quickly recover after their vitality was devoured?

Zhou Xiaoxiao gazed into Zhou Youyou’s big eyes, and this time, Zhou Youyou’s gaze did not avoid hers.

Seeing Zhou Youyou’s serious look, Zhou Xiaoxiao felt slightly swayed internally.

If Zhou Youyou’s words were true, what they should do next is abduct this human from the Zhen Nan Prince Manor and offer him to the Sect Hierarch.

Zhou Xiaoxiao sighed softly: "Youyou, I believe there truly are humans with such special physiques in this world, but devouring vitality doesn’t require engaging in such acts with humans, this I simply cannot believe."

Zhou Youyou continued muttering with a pout: "Sister doesn’t believe? Then why not try it?"

Zhou Xiaoxiao immediately said: "Impossible! I will never engage in such acts with humans!"

Even if Zhou Youyou’s words were true, she could never debase herself by engaging in illicit acts with humans just for advancing her Realm; it would be an extreme insult to her.

Zhou Youyou spoke again: "Since sister is unwilling, then let’s pretend I never mentioned it."

Zhou Xiaoxiao then said: "This matter needs to be reported to the Sect Hierarch promptly. If we offer this human to the Sect Hierarch, the Sect Hierarch’s power could soon be restored, allowing his plans to proceed more smoothly."

Zhou Youyou quickly said: "Sister, that human’s identity is rather special, we might be unable to bring him out of the Capital city."

Zhou Xiaoxiao curiously asked: "Special identity? Who is he?"

Zhou Youyou hesitated for a moment, but eventually said: "He is Lu Chen."

Zhou Xiaoxiao fell into a long silence again, not expecting that the person Zhou Youyou mentioned turned out to be Lu Chen.

Seeing Zhou Xiaoxiao stunned into silence, Zhou Youyou continued, adding: "Sister, you know it was initially the Sect Hierarch who ordered me to do such things with Lu Chen. If not for the Sect Hierarch’s task, I wouldn’t have climbed into Lu Chen’s bed, but what surprised me was that Lu Chen isn’t affected by Deceitful Evil, his vitality is extraordinarily strong."

Zhou Xiaoxiao remained silent; indeed, Zhou Youyou’s task was assigned by their Sect Hierarch, so Zhou Youyou wasn’t to blame.

Yet this outcome left them unable to kill Lu Chen; instead, they had to keep him alive.

After all, such a physique was incredibly rare and suited perfectly as blood food for their Mysterious beings.

However, with their Heavenly Fate Sect’s limited power in the Capital city, removing Lu Chen was impossible; surely, Earth Realm Strong Persons guarded him.

After some time, Zhou Xiaoxiao raised her hands, placing them on Zhou Youyou’s shoulders, continuing to gaze into her eyes, and said: "Youyou, tell me honestly, is all this true? Are you certain you weren’t threatened by humans, betraying the Heavenly Fate Sect, thus saying these words today?"

Zhou Youyou steadied her emotions, earnestly looking into Zhou Xiaoxiao’s eyes and replied: "Sister, I wouldn’t deceive anyone, least of all you."

Hearing Zhou Youyou’s answer, Zhou Xiaoxiao lowered her hands, rapidly pondering on what steps to take next.

Initially, their plan was to eliminate Lu Chen, fearing he might discern their Mysterious identities; yet now Lu Chen’s special physique made an alive Lu Chen potentially more valuable than a dead one.

The biggest issue remaining was, to abduct Lu Chen from the Capital city, they’d need to deal with the Zhen Nan Prince Manor.

Seeing Zhou Xiaoxiao lost in thought, Zhou Youyou coaxed from the side: "Sister, why not confirm further by Dual Cultivating with Lu Chen again? Then report to the Sect Hierarch."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Xiaoxiao snapped back to reality, glaring coldly at Zhou Youyou, and said: "The task was given to you by the Sect Hierarch, what does it have to do with me?"

Zhou Youyou asked: "Weren’t you sent by the Sect Hierarch for this task?"

Zhou Xiaoxiao replied: "The Sect Hierarch sent me to investigate Lu Chen’s whereabouts, but didn’t instruct me to share his bed."

To make her do such acts with a human was unthinkable; she’d rather be killed.

Seeing Zhou Xiaoxiao’s strong aversion, Zhou Youyou found it inappropriate to say more.

Being Mysterious herself, she understood the difficulty Mysterious beings faced in accepting such acts with humans.

However, this left her uncertain on how she could make Zhou Xiaoxiao become Lu Chen’s woman.

At this point, Zhou Xiaoxiao proceeded to ask: "Wasn’t there talk of Lu Chen being able to identify Mysterious beings? Why couldn’t he recognize your identity?"

Zhou Youyou replied: "He can’t identify Mysterious beings; that’s merely a false rumor spread by the Zhen Nan Prince Manor intending to use him as bait, enticing Mysterious beings to act against him."

After hearing Zhou Youyou’s explanation, Zhou Xiaoxiao realized.

She wondered how someone could identify Mysterious beings with completely restrained aura; indeed, humans were deceitful, employing such schemes.

Fortunately, they hadn’t fallen for it, or rather, they’d already been fooled, otherwise Zhou Youyou wouldn’t have been sent to Lu Chen’s side.

Zhou Xiaoxiao said: "It’s lucky that the Sect Hierarch only instructed you to use Ghostly Fiend to infiltrate his body. Were we to forcefully abduct Lu Chen, we’d fall into the Zhen Nan Prince Manor’s trap."

At this point, Zhou Xiaoxiao fell into deep thought, moving to the window to gaze into the courtyard, after a while saying: "Youyou, can you lure Lu Chen back to the Hundred Flowers Tower?"

Though Zhou Xiaoxiao’s heart had mostly accepted Zhou Youyou’s words, she still needed further verification, intending to report to the Sect Hierarch post-validation.

Regarding Zhou Youyou’s claim of needing Dual Cultivation to absorb Lu Chen’s vitality, she was utterly skeptical.

She believed perhaps due to Zhou Youyou receiving the Sect Hierarch’s task, she had to engage in acts with Lu Chen, while utilizing this opportunity to devour Lu Chen’s vitality.

If openly devouring Lu Chen’s vitality, he’d certainly notice, which was likely why Zhou Youyou claimed such intimacy was necessary for vitality absorption.

Upon hearing Zhou Xiaoxiao’s request, Zhou Youyou’s eyes lit up, indicating her sister’s interest was piqued.

Zhou Youyou subsequently said: "I’ll send someone over to the Zhen Nan Prince Manor later, claiming that there’s a beauty a hundred times prettier than myself at the Hundred Flowers Tower. Lu Chen is exceedingly lecherous; hearing this, he’ll certainly return there."
