Chapter 20

The Boss looks at the microphone that was beeping and he picked it up and answered it,“I hope that this was worth it” He said angrily.

“DON’T WORRY IT WAS, OUR PLANS HAS MOSTLY BEEN ACHIEVED”

The voice replied.“Hmpf, it better be” Although he said that his voice considerably softened. He sighed then said,“So, what’s next now?”

“Nothing I’ll take over from here you just need to lay low for now when I need you I’ll let you know when”

“Alright am only one call away, I won’t say much I just hope that you’ll let me handle that kid”.

“That won’t be an issue when the times comes you’ll have him all to yourself then” The voice answered then hangs up.The Boss laughs to himself after the call was disconnected thinking ‘The kid lucky for now’.

Meanwhile after Justin and Skylar left the room as they were heading back to the car they suddenly heard the siren of the police cars making Justin snort.

“Classic cops always coming late or after the funs over”

“You should be grateful that coming over to save your ass” Skylar said to him in annoyance still annoyed at him.

“Relax princess everything’s is over you don’t have to continue being scared” He replied to her mockingly.

“Jerk!” She said to him and then ran out of the building. Justin watches her leave then hesitates and looks around after not noticing anything strange he leaves after her.

After leaving the building Justin meets up with Skylar and Jessie confirming that they are all safe and there's nothing unusual they prepare to leave when the heard the sounds of police siren.

"Classic Cops always arriving when the show's over" He muttered then glance at Jessie who happen to look at him.

"Guessing you called the calvary huh?"

"Can't fault me for that, it was a preventive measure" She shrugged back. Skylar having gotten an idea of what was going on intervened.

"Let's get this over with" She walks towards the gate making Justin and Jessie follow her.

When they reached the entrance it was surrounded by cops they made sure to block all possible escape.

"You're all surrounded drop your weapons and raise your hands above your heads". A cop stepping out of his car used a megaphone to loud his voice over to them.

"*sighs* why do cops like saying that? We're clearly without weapon" Justin said raising his hands up slowly, Elena mirroring his actions also raised up her hands.

"Shut up don't make matters worse" She glared at him, noticing her annoyance he left out a small chuckle and looked away from her focusing on the officer who was now approaching them carefully.

"Don't get funny ideas am with a gun and am not scared to use it" He said reaching out to cuff them without further hesitation signaled at his colleagues to search the building for anyone else.

After searching them seeing they are harmless he visibly relaxed leading them towards the rest.

"Seems all is good I guess?" Jessie said as they approached the police cars.

Immediately she said that there was a loud sound as a car drifted towards them braking right in front of them.

"You just had to talk right" Justin said in sarcasm, Skylar also looked at her in annoyance. Realizing their stare at her she raised up her hands in defense.

"How the hell am I supposed to know this will happen?" She fired back. Ignoring them as they argued between their selves the cop rushed to quickly opened the car for the person that arrived.

"Who do you think that is?" Skylar asked them quietly.

"Nope, have no idea" Justin answered.

"Not sure either" Jessie also said. Noticing the figure is already out of the car after listening to explanation from the previous cop approached them unhurriedly.

"Is not everytime you see people chatting in front of officers, usually they're mostly nervous or scared" The figure said walking up to meet them.
