The Haiyun Evening News recently started working on a special report. With the New Year approaching, all the major companies were about to close for the holidays. As Haiyun Starâs dedicated media outlet, they proposed a segment following and filming the lives of young professionals after they clocked out.
As a mainstream media outlet, the Haiyun Evening News had always pursued authenticity. They almost never sent advance notice, preferring to show up at companies directly and interview randomly selected people. They werenât trying to capture anything particularly interesting; they just wanted to show the world the most realistic side of life.

Which is why their ratings were exceptionally poor.
I mean, with the Star Network so advanced these days, who wants to watch something boring?
Even though most people were just corporate drones who collapsed into bed the moment they got home from work, who wanted to see that on camera?
Despite this, the Evening News stubbornly persisted. It was the same every yearârelentlessly authentic.

On the way over, their hovercar had an unexpected problemâthe thrusters were firing unevenly. The repairs took a while, so by the time the reporter arrived, the office had already closed for the day.
They were about to head backâafter all, everyone had leftâbut the camera drone suddenly spotted a group of gorgeous, well-dressed young men and women walking out of the companyâs main entrance! âA whole group of them? A team-building event, maybe?â
Following and filming a single individual was a violation of privacy, but covering a team-building event was something the Evening Newsâs policy allowed.
So, since they were already here, the reporter decided to get some footage before leaving.
"Hello, our dear viewers. This is the Haiyun Evening News, and weâre back again this year with our look into the daily lives of young professionals after work..."
"This time, our chosen subjects are the young employees of Haiyun Starâs Changhai Group. Due to our late arrival, we didnât get a chance to meet them face-to-face, but we were able to capture them as they headed out."
"Theyâve now boarded their hovercars. There are three large ones, carrying about fourteen hundred people in totalâ"
As the reporter spoke, the other hovercars began to move, and the Haiyun Evening News vehicle followed. Filming a flight was boring, so the reporter aimed the camera drone out the window to capture some of the distant scenery along the route.
About thirty minutes later, the hovercars left the main urban district, and buildings became sparse.
"Weâve now left the main urban district. It seems the young people from Changhai Group arenât on their way to a social event. Letâs see, this direction... The Sea Treasure Elderly Activity Center? The hovercars are heading straight for the Sea Treasure Elderly Activity Center! Could it be that the young employees of Changhai Group are actually going to visit the elderly at a retirement center?"
"This is truly touching. Even in their leisure time, the young people of Changhai Group havenât forgotten to care for our senior citizens."
Spoken like a true professional from an official news outlet, he effortlessly recited the details. "The Sea Treasure Elderly Activity Center is Haiyun Starâs largest facility of its kind. Many of our planetâs contemporary heroes reside there."
"Thereâs a general who retired from the front lines thirteen years ago, Mr. Shao, who once spent his entire fortune to establish the Childrenâs Nutrient Liquid Benefit Association, and even our previous Planetary Governor and professors from Star Nebula University..."
"Speaking of them makes me feel quite nostalgic. Today, letâs follow these young people from Changhai Group and pay a visit to those heroes of yesteryear."
After saying this, the reporter shut off the camera for a moment and turned to his partner. "Wasnât my performance today great?"
