Therefore, there was no reason for Shuri to assume that Bucky, who appeared average and had a “subpar” prosthetic limb, could possess a suit of black technology as surreal as the Ant-Man suit.

“If you don’t believe it, then just wait and see. Uncle Bucky’s abilities will amaze you,” Lin Rui stated confidently after hearing Shuri’s retorts.

If the plot indeed unfolded as Lin Rui knew, T’Challa’s team wouldn’t have an easy time capturing Ulysses. Although they eventually captured Ulysses with the help of the CIA in the United States, he was later rescued by N’Jadaka during questioning.

N’Jadaka’s motive for rescuing Ulysses was to use him as a means to enter Wakanda and confront T’Challa directly about his father, who had been the previous king and N’Jadaka’s uncle. In front of various tribal elders, N’Jadaka aimed to prove his identity and challenge T’Challa for the throne.

In a life-or-death challenge, N’Jadaka defeated T’Challa, throwing him off a cliff, and leaving his fate uncertain. T’Challa had barely ascended to the throne when he was “killed” by a challenger, and under Wakanda’s archaic system, N’Jadaka’s takeover seemed legitimate.

However, T’Challa didn’t die but regained his Black Panther abilities with the help of the White Gorilla Tribe and launched a counterattack against N’Jadaka. With assistance from various quarters, T’Challa successfully quelled the internal turmoil in Wakanda, reclaiming his position as the true king.

In Lin Rui’s view, if T’Challa’s team had been more cautious during the operation to capture Ulysses, ensuring tighter security after his capture or taking him away immediately, the subsequent events might have been avoided. ℟𝐚𐌽ꝋᛒĘ𐌔

Of course, if N’Jadaka intended to go to Wakanda even after Ulysses’ capture, T’Challa’s best course of action would have been to eliminate him, preventing him from obtaining an opportunity to challenge his rule.

However, in the original plot, T’Challa’s stubbornness led him to accept N’Jadaka’s challenge, and unfortunately, he was defeated in the challenge. All that would have been necessary to prevent the internal turmoil in Wakanda was for T’Challa to handle any situation before N’Jadaka challenged him.

So, this time, Lin Rui had Bucky accompany T’Challa to capture Ulysses in South Korea, which could be seen as lending them an extra layer of security. If the events from the original plot did unfold, having Bucky present would provide an additional safeguard.

For instance, when N’Jadaka came to rescue Ulysses, Bucky could have been prepared and waiting at the back entrance. With Bucky’s abilities combined with the Ant-Man suit, N’Jadaka wouldn’t have had a chance to escape safely with Ulysses.

“Amaze us? With my brother personally involved, your Uncle Bucky wouldn’t even have had the chance to take action!” Although Lin Rui was confident in his words, Shuri still didn’t believe that Bucky was all that formidable.

However, Lin Rui didn’t bother explaining further to Shuri. After their brief argument, T’Challa and his team were already approaching their destination in South Korea. The speed of the Wakandan royal aircraft was incredibly fast, even surpassing the fifth and sixth-generation fighter jets currently used outside Wakanda.
