Chapter 1312: Identity Revealed

More than ten minutes after Lin Rui easily shot down the four combat aircraft sent by the High Priest, the High Priest could no longer conceal the situation. He either couldn’t hide it any longer or chose to actively bring the matter to the attention of T’Challa.

Dozens of futuristic-looking aircraft arrived over the battlefield in the blink of an eye, facing off against Tony’s hundreds of new Iron Man suits in mid-air. The cold, metallic presence of Iron Man and the poised energy weapons made the atmosphere over the plains grow increasingly icy.

“It seems that T’Challa is still maintaining some rationality and clear thinking. Otherwise, I would have doubted how he became king,” Lin Rui thought silently as he observed the standoff in the sky.

Just as Lin Rui pondered this, a distinctively different aircraft separated from the others in mid-air. This aircraft was even more lavish and sci-fi in appearance, resembling a spaceship capable of traversing the cosmos.

As this craft descended, Lin Rui noticed a slight change in Tony’s breathing. Compared to the spacecraft created not long ago by the combined efforts of SHIELD and Stark Industries, the craft before them seemed more technologically mature in various aspects.

“I wonder where Jackson dug up this miraculous nation. Perhaps he obtained the blueprint for his spacecraft from this country?” With the spacecraft landing, Tony, who could see more details now, couldn’t help but speculate.

“Yes, it’s just an identity, but who would have thought that the globally renowned superhero, Phantom Knight, is actually a youngster of around 18 years old?” T’Challa couldn’t help but marvel at Lin Rui’s nonchalant demeanor.

Initially, Wakanda’s investigation into Lin Rui’s identity only revealed him as a highly intelligent genius favored by Tony and SHIELD. However, now it seemed that Lin Rui’s strength and background were not inferior to T’Challa, the King of Wakanda.

“Enough about me. I believe you’re already familiar with this gentleman, Tony Stark,” Lin Rui said, changing the subject before he and T’Challa could engage in a lengthy conversation.

“Of course, I know him. Tony Stark, is hailed as the greatest scientist of this century. Even though Wakanda’s technology far surpasses Earth’s, I have great admiration for Mr. Stark,” T’Challa said politely when his gaze finally shifted to Tony.

Tony was initially pleased to be referred to as the greatest scientist of the century, but when he heard the latter part of T’Challa’s statement, he couldn’t help but feel indignant.

Wakanda’s technology far surpasses Earth’s. If you hadn’t hidden vibranium for centuries, avoiding external conflicts and crises, you wouldn’t even know whose technology is more advanced!

“Knowing that a group of arrogant Wakandan warriors had come to SHIELD, I was initially skeptical. However, upon seeing His Majesty the King, I think Rogers wasn’t wrong,” Tony retorted, taking off his sunglasses and speaking with a hint of sarcasm. ꭆÅ𝐍Ꝋ𝔟Ęș

Hearing Lin Rui’s question, T’Challa’s gaze flickered. He had already sensed that something was amiss when the High Priest sent out combat aircraft to intercept Lin Rui without notifying him.

Furthermore, the High Priest’s claims about his father’s plans and wishes were unsubstantiated. Therefore, T’Challa had doubts about the High Priest’s words.
