Day six.
In the next room, Fang Jiujiu woke up. As he stepped out, he came across Ye Fei who was also up.
"Morning, godmother." Jiujiu yawned and greeted.
Jiujiu was wearing a cow-patterned pajama that made him look incredibly cute.
But this was not Grandpa Jiuās style. It was Fang Eleven and Ye Fei who insisted on buying it for him. He reluctantly wore it.
"Aww, good morning my adorable baby!" Seeing Jiujiu first thing in the morning put Ye Fei in a great mood. She hurried over, kissed him, and playfully tugged at the soft horns on his hat.
"Elevenās still sleeping." without ducking, Jiujiu glanced sideway at Elevenās closed room door.
"Yes indeed, I heard her crying at two in the morning."
"Crying?"
Ye Fei laughed, "Donāt overthink it. She was watching a drama, crying her heart out."
"..."
That makes sense.
He really overestimated Gu Lianchengās significance in her heart, this heartless woman!
"I thought at least for a few days she would be so upset she couldnāt eat or drink." Jiujiu shrugged.
He almost felt sorry for Gu Liancheng.
"Haha," Ye Fei laughed, "Fang Eleven is naturally heartless!"
"Thereās really no loyalty amongst you adults," Jiujiu said disdainfully, "Weāre better than you."
"Oh? Does our little old Grandpa Jiu have a crush?"
"Psh." Jiujiu ignored her.
Who else could it be, Gu Mengmeng!
His so-called sister, neither sharing the same father nor mother in reality.
Strange enough, despite no blood relation, they both got sick at the same time. Today was Saturday, they hadnāt seen each other for two days. He woke up feeling oddly empty.
Given that Eleven went to bed late last night, Jiujiu and Ye Fei didnāt expect her to wake up before noon.
Ye Fei had ordered delivery for breakfast, two portions of century egg and lean meat porridge.
After finishing her morning routine, Ye Fei saw Jiujiu squatting in front of the coffee table with a toothbrush in his mouth, carelessly brushing his teeth, staring into something.
"What are you doing, Jiujiu?"
"Heās online."
"Who?" Ye Fei was stunned for a moment, "Oh, Boss Gu?"
Ye Fei had always thought it was strange how the father and son both were eccentrics!
One a hacker, the other hacked. After their first encounter online, they simply added each other on QQ to save all the hassle of hacking back and forth.
But Gu Liancheng wasnāt idle. He would occasionally do surprise attacks on his IP. Grandpa Jiu blocked all these attacks effortlessly. To avoid unnecessary trouble, this computer was now on 24/7 to avoid being hacked beyond repair.
The delivery hadnāt arrived yet. Ye Fei, munching on a slice of toast, sat next to Jiujiu observing their conversation.
Genius(Hi Dad, good morning).
Jiujiuās avatar was a thumbs down gesture, and the annoying yet irresistible nickname he gave himself surely irritated Gu Liancheng.
It didnāt matter much though. The fact was, all the IE Emperors Gu Liancheng could find were still no match for Jiujiu. He sat there carefree and relaxed.
Jiujiu casually clicked his mouse button, and over at Gu Lianchengās end, an error message popped up on the screen accompanied by a sound glitch.
Genius: Dad, youāre so bored. I told you itās pointless, you guys canāt beat me.
Gu Liancheng: Never give up, thatās my rule.
He will, one day, root out this audacious kid!
Having studied psychology, Gu Liancheng estimated this hacker to be no more than 18 years old, a child whose character remained immature.
