Chapter 736: Trapped in the Spatial Suppression Diagram

The Spatial Suppression Diagram was a counterfeit saint weapon Situ Yan had obtained from her grandfather after much begging. Although its might was incomparable with the true saint weapon, it was more than enough to trap a group of Emperors.

Although these disciples were the geniuses of numerous major organizations, they did not have any saint weapons on them. Because of that, none of them had been able to escape. Situ Yan was threatening Xiang Shaoyun, and from the tone of her voice, it was obvious she was resolute in helping Di Lin capture Xiang Shaoyun.

“I’m not afraid of threats, but this is a trade I can agree with,” said Xiang Shaoyun after giving Situ Yan a deep gaze.

In truth, he didn’t find her words that threatening. However, if he, as a leader, wasn’t willing to put himself in danger to save his subordinates, he would thoroughly disappoint them. If so, who would still join the Overlord Legion in the future?

All along, Di Lin’s gaze was focused on Xiang Shaoyun. It was as if he greatly feared that Xiang Shaoyun would suddenly change his mind. And yet, Xiang Shaoyun entered without any hesitation.

The moment he stepped inside, Situ Yan changed her hand seals and pushed the Overlord Legion members out of the suppressed space, leaving Xiang Shaoyun alone inside. Afterward, her aura weakened considerably, as if she had expanded a lot of her strength doing so.

Di Lin howled with laughter, “Xiang Shaoyun, I will personally witness your death today!”

Underneath the Spatial Suppression Diagram, Xiang Shaoyun scanned his surroundings and found that the space around him was really sealed. It was basically impossible for him to break out.

However, he wasn’t the least bit worried. A calm smile hung on his face as he said, “Let my Overlord Legion brothers leave, and you can do whatever you want to me.”

“What are you waiting for? Get lost!” Di Lin shouted at the Overlord Legion members.

“Di Alliance, if you dare kill our overlord, we won’t let this rest,” warned someone from the Overlord Legion.

“Still talking tough? Teach him a lesson,” said Di Lin with a sneer.

At that, the Di Alliance people attacked, and the Overlord Legion was forced to immediately retreat. They did not have the numerical advantage, and they had been trapped for a while, resulting in low morale. Thus, they did not have much will to fight.

And thus, only Xiang Shaoyun remained.

“Di Lin, is trapping me here all you got? What else do you have prepared? Bring it on,” Xiang Shaoyun shouted.

“Hmph. You will suffer. Senior sister, let him have a taste of some suffering,” said Di Lin.

Situ Yan nodded as she controlled the Spatial Suppression Diagram again, creating attacks with it.

Swish! Swish!

Numerous energy blades shot out from the Spatial Suppression Diagram. Each blade was akin to a peak Emperor’s attack. If it wasn’t for Situ Yan being too weak, she could have created attacks matching Sovereigns with the diagram.

Xiang Shaoyun had long pushed his senses to the limit. The moment the attacks came, he surrounded himself with green shields and raised his head. He took in all the openings in between the blades before his figure blurred as he started dodging.

His speed was unparalleled. So long as there was a tiny opening, he could avoid the incoming attack. Unfortunately, the attacks were too concentrated, and it was impossible to dodge all of them.

A decent number of blades struck him, and even the golden shields around him cracked, allowing some of the attacks to reach his flesh, putting him in immense pain. If it wasn’t for the fact that many lightning bolts had previously tempered his body, he would have been killed.

His skin split while his blood sprayed everywhere, his body looking extremely miserable. Even so, he still shouted unyieldingly, “Just this much? It’s not even enough to scratch my itch! You’re trying to kill me with this? Are you dreaming?”

His words further annoyed Di Lin and the rest.

“Senior sister, use the strongest attack and kill him,” said Di Lin.

An awkward look covered Situ Yan’s face as she said, “With my strength, these are the strongest attacks I can unleash.”

Di Lin had the urge to shout at her, but he swallowed his words and said with a calm tone, “Are there no other options?”

“Simple. We can just leave. When this space collapses, he will be destroyed along with the Spatial Suppression Diagram,” said Situ Yan.

“But the Spatial Suppression Diagram is a valuable treasure,” said Di Lin hesitatingly.

“This is a counterfeit product. At most, it can be used once or twice. Now that it has managed to eliminate an enemy for you, it has achieved its purpose,” said Situ Yan with voice transmission.

Di Lin’s eyes lit up. “You’re telling the truth?”

“Of course. How could I have gotten it from Grandpa otherwise?” said Situ Yan confidently.

“Why are you not attacking anymore? Is this all this stupid diagram can do?” Xiang Shaoyun continued yelling.

“Hehe, shout all you want. Remember to shout louder. We’re leaving. Good luck,” said Di Lin, looking at Xiang Shaoyun like he was a dead man.

“Xiang Shaoyun, consider it your honor to be buried with the Spatial Suppression Diagram,” said Situ Yan mockingly.

And thus, Di Lin led the Di Alliance people and headed toward the exit. Only then did Xiang Shaoyun understand what they were trying to do. He quickly shouted, “Don’t go! I won’t spare you even in death!”
