"The King of Mu? You have a grudge against that old coot?" Chen Suifeng was taken aback for a moment, but then it clicked. "Oh, right. Youâre the kid who raped and murdered his daughter."
He knew Su Ze was a clone, so naturally, he also knew some of the details surrounding the rape and murder of the King of Muâs daughter, Princess Zhuzhi.
"That wasnât me, it was Zhao Lingxiao!" Su Ze corrected.
"Close enough," Chen Suifeng teased. "What, youâre not even going to spare her father? Planning to wipe them out, root and stem?"
Su Ze shook his head. "Itâs not a matter of me sparing him; heâs the one who wonât spare me. You know the King of Mu acquired a Bloodline Crystal, donât you?"
Chen Suifeng nodded. "But I heard he never absorbed it. So he shouldnât have been possessed by an alien."
"Not necessarily. His actions are too bizarre, and many of them donât make sense." Su Ze then recounted the strange things he had learned about the King of Mu.
This inevitably brought up the Bloodline Crystal Princess Zhuzhi had absorbedâthe one containing the Divine Grace of Evolution skill. However, Su Ze didnât explain the skillâs effects, only saying it was the crystal that had come from the King of Mu.
It took Chen Suifeng a while to make sense of the complicated situation.
"So, let me get this straight. The King of Mu obtained a Bloodline Crystal from the Divine Dice, but he didnât absorb it himself. He gave it to his daughter, who did. Then, his daughter was killed by Zhao Lingxiao, who absorbed the extract. And finally, a part of that extract ended up in you through an organ transplant?"
"Thatâs right. Itâs as if Zhao Lingxiao and I shared that Bloodline Crystal. Both of our Bloodline Crystal skills are incomplete," Su Ze said.
"That is strange. It makes no sense for the King of Mu to spare you and Zhao Lingxiao. Logically, his first move should have been to either draw out the extract from your bodies or kill you and let the Bloodline Crystal naturally form again," Chen Suifeng agreed that something was off.
"I learned from Feng Boyi that the King of Muâs Bloodline Crystal was very special. It wasnât just that it could be absorbed by a Mortal-level Life Form; it also had a certain requirement. Not just anyone could absorb itâit seems the King of Mu himself couldnât. However, that requirement likely disappeared once the Bloodline Crystal was converted into an extract. Otherwise, Zhao Lingxiao wouldnât have been so lucky as to absorb the Bloodline Crystal skill immediately.
"And if the King of Mu killed Zhao Lingxiao and me to wait for the crystal to naturally form again, it would probably have that absorption requirement again. Chen Suifeng thought for a moment and said, "There are definitely a lot of suspicious things about the King of Mu. "But why do you have to go and provoke him?"
"Because I absorbed an incomplete Bloodline Crystal skill, I canât proceed with my fifth evolution until I complete it. "Heâs on that list too?"
"He completed all six trials of the Divine Dice, but whether or not he obtained a Bloodline Crystal is unknown."
Su Ze fell silent. He too could sense how difficult this was going to be. The resistance heâd face on this trip to Mu Country would be far greater than he had imagined.
Chen Suifeng analyzed, "Iâm now more inclined to believe the Saint Emissary of Mu Country was possessed by an alien long ago. After all, the King of Mu is right under his nose, and heâs acting so abnormally. Yet, the higher-ups in Lin Hua Country and I havenât heard a single word about it. That doesnât add up. If any of the rulers of the six nations show signs of anything unusual, itâs his duty as Saint Emissary to report it immediately."
