This area will likely be surrounded by native forces soon. We need to get out fast!”

Amy and Victor had no objections.

This location was too close to the rift in the planar barrier, making it extremely dangerous.

With unanimous agreement, the trio set off, cautiously navigating the primeval forest.

“What’s up?” Jie Ming asked.

“Dodging them would be easy, but it’d mean taking a longer route. I suggest we take them out to save time,” Amy proposed.

Jie Ming nodded without comment. “Alright!”

Soon, dozens of creatures resembling pythons with claws and six legs lunged from the surrounding bushes. Their streamlined bodies moved with incredible speed, their eyes gleaming with bloodthirsty red light.

“I’ll take the left!” Victor called out.

Prepared, he waved his staff, unleashing several wind blades that sliced through the nearest creatures’ throats, blood spraying.

Amy didn’t hold back either. With her hands cupped, several blazing fireballs shot out like meteors, crashing into the beast horde with booming explosions, instantly charring several creatures.

Compared to their “efficiency,” Jie Ming’s approach was almost effortlessly casual, leaving him time to observe his companions’ techniques.
