The two walked into the dining room and sat down. Lin Li’s eyes swept over the five dishes on the table... Spicy Crayfish, Stir-fried Pork Intestines, Salt and Pepper Spareribs, Fish in Chili Oil, and Mapo Tofu.

Every single dish looked and smelled incredible, making Lin Li, who had toiled in the wild all day, practically drool at the sight.

’I only asked for three dishes yesterday, but Su Yue actually made two more...’

Looking at the extra Fish in Chili Oil and Mapo Tofu, Lin Li felt completely enveloped by happiness.

Seeing the happy smile spread across Lin Li’s face as he gazed at the feast, Su Yue couldn’t help but smile herself.

She handed a pair of chopsticks to Lin Li and said, "Don’t just stare. Go on, eat!"

"So? How is it? Are the dishes I made today decent?" Su Yue asked after taking a sip of coconut milk, addressing Lin Li, who had already sampled a bite of everything.

"’Decent?’ If you call this ’decent,’ then I doubt many people can actually cook... These dishes today are incredible." Lin Li’s mouth was stuffed with food. After swallowing, he gave Su Yue a thumbs-up and spoke.

Lin Li’s genuine praise made Su Yue’s smile widen even more.

Just then, Su Yue seemed to remember something. She asked Lin Li, "Lin Li, after I got drunk yesterday, I didn’t say anything weird, did I?"
