Chapter 987: Sister Pranic Beast Natures?
If Kenzar Echo were to ever perish or become a Transcendent, then Ronzar would inherit the suffix of Echo and become the leader of the Zinger Guards.
"Oh, thatâs pretty high up." Wally nodded and commented, "Damn, so even your death wonât urge your leader to take action?"
"Do you think youâre strong enough to make her worry about you?" Ronzar asked, "Only if you have entered the Mystic Grade would the Quip Clan pay that much attention to you."
"Iâm pretty sure I can take on every Quip Clansman apart from my sister in a one-on-one battle." Wally said, recalling something for a moment as he added, "And Root too."
"A Zinger Princeâs State of Harmony can kill you." Ronzar said, "Or do you think you can win against the Royal Zinger?"
"I cannot," Wally shrugged smugly, "However, the Royal Zinger wonât attack me."
"Of course..." Ronzar facepalmed, breaking his nonchalance. After a dozen seconds of silence, he said honestly, "Donât do that, truly. I donât want to experience the headache of facing you."
"Iâm not a battle addict either. I only wish your leader would talk to me with honesty." Wally shook his head, "Everything I said and did was merely towards that."
"Is that why youâre hindering our marine trade?" Ronzar asked, smiling wryly upon seeing Wally break into a chuckle.
"I like you," Wally offered a cup of tea, "Youâre a pretty fun guy to be around."
"That I am." Ronzar lifted his legs and placed them on the table. His chair turned into an easy chair as he sipped tea and gasped, "Wow, itâs tasty."
"You could at least be a bit more formal." Wally said but didnât complain. He flicked away the table, turned his chair into an easy chair too, and gasped as he drunk tea like an old man, "This place is nice, right?"
"Absolutely!" Ronzar commented, "Sell it to me if you arenât planning to use it after this."
"You can make a similar one with your ability," Wally commented.
"But itâll be within my Homing Satellite." Ronzar took a large sip and commented, "I hate cramped spaces. I love open areas like this."
"Visit the Tsloch Sea then," Wally said, "It looks stellar these days. I worked a lot on beautifying it."
"If you allow me to install a Quip Tower somewhere nearby, Iâll be happy to camp there for the rest of my life." Ronzar asked with an expectant gaze.
"If you promise to give the Cooter Clan the same discount you give me, then sure." Wally laughed upon seeing Ronzarâs face morph into tears.
"Sir...no, brother..." Ronzar expressed pitifully, "You know we supply you everything at a loss, right? If we supply to the Cooter Clan at the same rate, weâll go bankrupt one of these days."
The Royal Zingerâs orders were to take care of Wally. That was why Wally enjoyed special privileges with the Quip Clan.
"Then letâs finalise a profit margin with the Cooter Clan," Wally said.
"Eight percent." Ronzar argued.
"Six, and thatâs final."
"Deal!" Ronzar accepted it readily. With that, the Quip Clan could finally trade with the Cooter Clan and purchase a vast amount of medicines.
"So, what do you need?" Ronzar asked next.
"I want minerals with properties like Black Dralh in that it could transform into Clear-Blue Dralh, another mineral." Wally asked, "I want the Quip Clan to give me a list of whatever they have now and everything with such properties they find in the future."
"A mineral that can change into a new type of mineral under certain conditions, huh?" Ronzar muttered and fell into thought.
After a few minutes, he remembered something, "I canât readily say if we can supply such a mineral."
"But you have clues?" Wally asked, slightly excited.
"I can remember two clues," Ronzar nodded, "Do you know about Reactive Jade?"
"Obviously, since Yarshaâs family used it." Wally nodded, "But I already experimented with Reactive Jade. It exhibits various properties, but at the end of the day, itâs still Reactive Jade."
"Yes," Ronzar nodded, "However, there exists many minerals with similar properties to Reactive Jade in the Zahara Kingdomâs region. If we inspect the place, Iâm sure weâll find at least a few. If any region were to have suitable minerals for your need, itâs there."
"Of course, most of them, if not all of them will only be Iron Grade minerals."
"Thatâs plenty enough for now." Wally smiled, "Then, whatâs the second clue?"
"Oh, we have what you seek in our possession already." Ronzar expressed.
"What?" Wally gasped in shock, "Then, just sell it to me!"
"We can, but thereâs an extremely limited amount of them." Ronzar explained, "They are in the form of Spirit Weapons. We collected these from the Influenced Region of Armoury. So, we have no idea where the mineral for those Spirit Weapons is sourced from."
"We sold a good chunk of them to the Brimgan Empire, since they were offering a premium to purchase such interesting Spirit Weapons." Ronzar said, "Youâll need to have talks with the Brimgan Empire to buy those."
"Iâll purchase the ones in your possession first," Wally said, feeling an impending headache already.
The last time the Cooter Clan headed to the Brimgan Empire, they were absolutely humiliated. There was the Cooter-Brimgan Trade Agreement, and based on what Wally found out later, Boul Brimgan and Harla Brimgan had actually rushed into the Dralh Sea when Brangara was consuming the Empyrean Snappers.
They had only arrived late because it took a lot of time for the message to reach the Brimgan Empire from the Dralh Sea.
"Also, on a completely different note..." Ronzar asked, "If I wanted, can you make customised terrain for me?"
"For your Homing Satellites?" Wally asked.
"Yes," Ronzar nodded, "It is not easy to come across potent terrains to use. I have a few Homing Satellites containing the Dralh Seas Death Hour and Cold Shower. But thatâs it. I donât have any other Homing Satellites that I can consider special."
"What about an Attributed Water Homing Satellite?" Wally asked, "I heard Kenzar Echo had one."
"Even we cannot spare enough resources to make another." Ronzar complained as he eyed Wally, "The Cooter Clan has refused to give the one that snatched."
Seeing Wally remain silent on the topic, Ronzar reverted to the original topic, "So, can you provide us such terrain?"
"Sure, the Empyrean Snappers are mostly idle anyway." Wally nodded, "We can even make you better versions of your Quip Tower, as long as you pay enough."
"Yes, the Quip Clan wonât shortchange you for that," Ronzar said without hesitation.
"I am aware of your business practices." Wally smirked, "Inala told me."
"Umm..." Ronzar winked cutely, "Pretty please? We need to make some profit too."
"We Snappers are inherently lazy...you see..." Wally dragged on purposefully, "We wonât be motivated to make them well if we arenât incentivised to do so...so, soooooo...."
"Brother, Iâll lose my job if I concede any further." At the end of two minutes of back and forth, Ronzar bowed until his head touched the floor, "I need to make the minimum most amount. Otherwise, Iâll get my head chewed by our leader."
He then lifted his head and pitifully stared at Wally, "Your sister is scary. Please help me avoid her wrath."
Then, Ronzar managed to successfully increase his profit margin.
Once the transaction concluded, Wally pouted, "I wanted a reason to fight Zhya."
"Sheâs a lot stronger than you," Ronzar said without hesitation, "She managed to make your entire group of Empyrean Snappers flee with her State of Harmony. Against you alone, she wonât even feel challenged."
âActually, I wanted to fight her to gain a better understanding of the means to gain a Secondary and Tertiary Nature for the Empyrean Snappers and eventually attain a State of Harmony.â Wally was a tad disappointed. âThatâs why she avoided me.â
If Wally were to figure out the answer, the Cooter Clan would become too powerful, enough to fully dominate and influence all marine regions. That would make the Quip Clan lose out on a lot of wealth and even have to worry about a competitor.
Hence, Zhya wanted to buy time until the Quip Clanâs control over the marine regions tightened. Only then would she be willing to sit and talk with Wally.
âI hope he doesnât try to force her hand. He has the means to do so.â Ronzar thought, knowing exactly why he was sent in place of Zhya to communicate with Wally.
Kenzar was most straightforward, while Ronzar was more diplomatic in nature.
So, Ronzar was always dispatched to tricky regions while Kenzar worked on expanding and forging trade relations into general regions.
âThankfully, he seems satisfied.â Ronzar thought as he accompanied Wally to the Tsloch Sea. But what he didnât know was that Wally was already preparing to force Zhyaâs hand.
âBut before that, I should enter the Mystic Tentacleâs Ruins.â Wally was prepared enough, âI will get complete knowledge regarding a State of Harmony and many other things from there.â
Most of all, he felt like he could work out a unique solution for the Empyrean Snappers, âIf there are Pranic Beasts with Natures that feel similar to Subtle Terrain Domination, we can attempt something just like what the Cooter Clansmen were doing.â
The Clumped Finger was a pretty good candidate, as its Nature was pretty compatible with Subtle Terrain Domination. As he thought about it, Wallyâs face beamed, âI remember seeing a Bulging Snapper for a moment near the Varahan Empire.â
"Ronzar," He uttered, "Letâs go on a trip, shall we?"
"Where?" Ronzar asked, almost fainting upon hearing the answer, âNot again!â
"The Varahan Empire, of course." Wally chuckled.
