Chapter 1062: The God of Minerals (Part 3)
Major TreasureâSeat of Transcendence!
It was the endpoint of Sumatra Chronicles, the ultimate reward given to the contest winner. The Mystic Seven would have originally been competing to obtain it against the Empyrean Boar King, Brangara.
However, so much butterfly effects happened that things ended during the Third Major Disaster itself, "Brangaraâs dead."
Inala uttered as he eyed the golden humanoid, "So, Sumatra Chronicles no longer has as much value..."
"Flip it," Said the golden humanoid, turning silent after that as his eyes strangely focused upon the altar.
"..." Frowning at the response, Inala approached the altar and touched its end, watching the hourglass flip in response. Strangely, the moment it had done so, he was stunned, for on the opposite side of the hourglass, which now faced him, was another carving.
It had two rays reaching towards the Seat of Transcendence. And as focused on it, the two rays transformed into arms, and soon, became humanoids, a male, and a female. The male was brown in colour, and the female...
Golden!
Inala understood who the two rays were representing, âI see, now it makes sense.â
During the Second Major Disaster, when Resha made contact with Yarsha Zahara, the latter remembered everything about her existence from Sumatra Chronicles.
It seemed strange, as such a phenomenon never happened ever again, âBut, if I think in the perspective of how she was addressed in Sumatra Chronicles, it makes sense.â
Yarsha ZaharaâSumatra Chronicles Heroine!
It seemed Renduldu had integrated her too into Sumatra Chronicles. That was why her fate had become as intertwined with the Mystic Seven as it did. It was also why she recalled everything the moment she came into contact with Resha.
After all, the protagonists of Sumatra Chronicles were Resha and Yarsha Zahara.
But Brangara didnât display such a phenomenon when he made contact with Resha, all because of one reasonâhe was a Mystic Grade existence.
Mystic Grade existences were immune to the influence of Sumatra Chronicles. Inala had verified it by switching grades as the Royal Zinger.
As a Mystic Grade existence, Brangara wasnât under the influence of the Sumatra Chronicle. However, the moment he learnt about the entirety of Sumatra Chronicles through Yennda, he too became a pillar for Renduldu.
Had there ever been a moment when Brangaraâs existence fell below the Mystic Grade, he would have rushed to the Major Disasters voluntarily.
"Have you read it in full detail?" Inala asked the golden humanoid.
"No," The golden humanoid shook his head, "We split the contents of Sumatra Chronicles into a hundred parts, and each of us is aware of only one part."
"I know the second part." The golden humanoid said, "I know a basic summary of the remainder. In this manner, I can avoid becoming Rendulduâs puppet."
"I see," Inala nodded and stared at the ethereal structure stretching before him, "Do you have the means to enter it?"
"Youâll die the moment you step inside." The golden humanoid warned casually, "Unless youâre on the level of a Deity, setting foot inside is a deathâs sentence. The sheer influence plaguing the place will shred your body apart."
"But, I am curious." The golden humanoid eyed Inala in confusion and asked, "What exactly do you need?"
"One moment, you donât seem to care about anything beyond satisfying your curiosity. But on the other hand, you express an intent of wanting to steal everything, and lastly..." The golden humanoid shook his head, "At times, I canât seem to read your intentions in the slightest."
"So, I ask you this," The golden humanoidâs tone turned rigid, "What is your desire, Leukeu?"
"To explore Sumatra," Inala said without hesitation, "It has been my longstanding wish, my desire, and pretty much my reason for existence now."
"If you had the opportunity," The golden humanoid asked, "Will you try to reach the pinnacle?"
"...No," Came the answer, "Iâll limit myself to the Gold Grade..."
"You know," The golden humanoid interjected, "Thereâs an endless amount of the Sandbox Universe beyond Sumatra. If you had Mystic Grade strength, you could explore the cosmos."
"No," Inala shook his head, "Tall mountains, perennial rivers, deep trenches...I wish to explore everything that Sumatra has to offer, including its dangers."
"After all, that is part of its charm."
"If in the process, you come across something that is harmful to the Continent, will you interfere?" The golden humanoid asked, continuing upon seeing Inala nod casually, "Even at the cost of your life?"
"No," Inala shook his head, "My desire doesnât weigh beyond my existence."
"What if the damage is so severe that Sumatra, as a Continent, crumbles?" The golden humanoid asked next, "In a situation where your dream gets shattered, what will you do next?"
"At the first signs of disaster..." Inala pointed at his neck, "I will commit suicide."
"The Royal Zinger will take care of the rest."
"So, you exist to entertain a selfish desire." The golden humanoid nodded.
"Do you believe I shouldnât exist?" Inala asked, his eyes flashing with momentary hesitation, "Does my desire...have adverse consequences?"
"Pfft...puhahaha!" The golden humanoid burst into laughter, "What a riot!"
He pointed at Inala amidst a plea of laughter, "Just do whatever you want!"
"Every native of Sumatra has the freedom to pursue their dreams and desires, whatever they might be."
"Then," Inalaâs eyes widened, filled with a trace of relief. "I...donât have to worry about anything, right?"
"Like even if I refuse to develop my build further..."
"Relax," The golden humanoid patted Inala on the shoulder, "You have done plenty for Sumatra. Youâve lived your entire life fighting for something beyond your existence. Thereâs no need to concern yourself about any failures."
"After all," The golden humanoid chuckled, "Youâve given me all the details about your build. I can easily infer from it and create another Brully like you."
"Those battle maniacs would love to obtain the Nature of Weapon Hands. And I do intend to grant them the Nature and release them on Sumatra, when an invasion starts." The golden humanoid said and grabbed the pair of glasses from Inala.
"Well, if you donât have the desire to reach the pinnacle, do leave the Major Treasure of Weapon with me." The golden humanoid said.
"Thank you," Inalaâs eyes creased to form a genuine, comfortable smile as a chuckle escaped his lips, "I feel relieved to hear your words. Even though I resolved to selfishly live to satisfy my desires, it becomes extremely difficult at times to maintain it."
âYou are that type of individual, after all.â The golden humanoid thought with a warm gaze, motioning at Inala to walk out of the building.
As Inala walked in the front, the golden humanoid subtly wore the pair of glasses, immediately spotting a ginormous grey tower manifest around Inala. And staring at him from within the grey tower was the Royal Zinger.
Raising its arm, the Royal Zinger waved. In response, the golden humanoid twitched his mouth, âIn essence, through Leukeu, you are satisfying your desire to explore Sumatra. Arenât I right, Inala?â
In response to his thoughts, the golden humanoid watched the Royal Zinger reveal a soft smile. However, a couple seconds later, the Royal Zinger communicated using sign language, âYou want Leukeu to reach the Mystic Grade? Why? He neither has the desire, nor the will to do so.â
âWhat exactly do you get from this outcome, Inala?â The golden humanoid though, evidently changing his facial expression, which was plenty enough for the Royal Zinger to infer his thoughts, âFor the good of Sumatra? Isnât your existence enough for that? Considering the strength you unleashed at the Kalahatra Desert, even I feel we wonât have to worry about our enemies...â
âSumatraâs home continent will be invading?â That changed the golden humanoidâs expression, instantly switching his thoughts. He was silent for a moment before asking, âYou think the Brully race would play a pivotal role against our enemies?â
âIs that why...â The golden humanoid stared at the grey tower to think, âIs that why you released so much of your accumulated strength to spike the Transcendent Planeâs development?â
The date of the Fourth Major Disaster was brought forward the moment Inala was captured by the golden humanoids in the Mrutch Sea. It was because the moment he was brought into Halmahera, the Royal Zinger infused most of its power into the Prana Circuit, and helped develop the Influenced Region of Transcendent Plane faster.
It was the cause for the activation of the Mystic Paths. The moment the change occurred, one of the golden humanoids used the pair of specs to observe Inala, and then discovered the existence of the grey tower.
One of them had been in communication until now. The Brimgan Founder became an integral part of the Royal Zingerâs makeup. As a result, the Royal Zinger was able to harness the power of Halmaheraâs Prana Circuit.
âIf Sumatraâs Home Continent appears...â The golden humanoid expressed worry and promptly stared at Inalaâs back, âWe need a reliable State of Unity for defence. Also, at the Mystic Grade...â
His gaze turned fierce, âThe Brully Race will begin displaying the traits of the Cosmic Being it originated from.â
âAnd,â It stared at Inalaâs hands next, âBy following Boul Brimganâs build, both of Leukeuâs hands could be turned into Minor Treasures. That would elevate its prowess to the peak at the Mystic Grade.â
âHah!â The golden humanoid let out a sigh and uttered, "I apologise, Leukeu."
"Your desire," He muttered and snapped his finger.
Inala promptly noticed a difference as powerful pillars of light slammed into him. instinctively, he activated his Secondary Nature of Weapon Hands, which...unfortunately, spelt his doom.
Suddenly, a chunk of Vachra broke off from the Prana Circuit and touched one of his hands. As the pillars of light slammed into Inala, his Secondary Nature was forced into activation, which caused his hands to instinctively absorb the Vachra.
"Your desire," Over a hundred golden flashes filled the sky, as in unison, the over hundred Minor Treasures of Kinesis Deity targeted Inala and spoke in unison, amidst the latterâs painful howls, "Itâs not enough."
"Therefore, let us turn it into your obsession."
