Chapter 2228 - Invitation? What Invitation?

Chapter 2228: Invitation? What Invitation?

Qiao Mianmian looked up at Linda and saw that she wasn’t joking.

She was speechless.

“Sister Xie, are you serious?”

“Of course I’m serious. When we signed the contract, we didn’t say that you were only allowed to develop in the film and television industry. Your two songs are extremely popular now. Many professional singers have been defeated by you. Do you know how many television stations sent invitations just now?”

“Invitation? What invitation?”

“In a while, all the major television stations will be holding the New Year’s Gala. Originally, no television station invited you, but because of your two songs, you’re now in high demand. I’ve already received five invitations from five television stations, and two of them are top viewership ratings. These two television stations’ annual New Year’s Gala is filled with top-tier celebrities.

“Now, they’re the ones who invited you. This is different.”

Linda never expected this.

Qiao Mianmian was originally an actress, but she became popular first because of her singing.

But no matter how she became popular, as her manager, she was happy for her.

Qiao Mianmian signed with her.

As her manager, she would benefit if her artiste became popular.

“Oh right, the two television stations with the best viewership ratings. I’ve replied to them to expect your decision tomorrow. These two television stations’ New Year’s Gala is very good. Take a look at which one you want to go to. My suggestion is Apple TV. The other one is Asian TV.”

Qiao Mianmian knew these television stations well.

They were indeed the top two television stations.

It wasn’t easy to attend their New Year’s Gala.

There were few spots, so many people competed for them.

Most of them were A-list celebrities.

Qiao Mianmian was considered popular because of the variety show and her two songs.

But she hadn’t reached the level of an A-list.

It wasn’t easy to get an invitation from these two television stations.

Hence, Qiao Mianmian couldn’t reject such a good opportunity.

She thought for a while and said, “Apple TV, then.”

The variety show she had previously recorded was Apple TV’s. The new drama she was starring in would also be shown on it. Qiao Mianmian thought for a while and felt that it was better to choose Apple TV. After all, they had worked together before.

Linda nodded. “Mm, I think it’s better to choose Apple TV too. Then, this matter is settled. I’ll call the staff at Apple TV later. Oh right, Mianmian, you haven’t answered my question just now. Do you want to develop in the music industry?”

With Qiao Mianmian’s voice and her two songs being so popular, Linda was sure that if she was willing to mainly develop in the music industry, she would definitely be popular.

She’d also become popular faster.

Linda thought that she could enter the entertainment industry after becoming popular in the music industry.

In that case, she wouldn’t miss out on filming and singing.

Qiao Mianmian didn’t think too much about it and shook her head. “Sister Xie, I still want to focus on acting. As for singing, I think we can just record a few songs in our spare time.”

“Alright, it seems like you really like acting.”
