Chapter 2246: Alright, I’ll Wait for You

“If You Can’t Love, this is really a show of conscience. It’s no wonder that Bai Yusheng is the director. I feel that the casting this time is very good, and the actors are doing very well. Even Qiao Mianmian, who I didn’t think highly of at first, surprised me. At first, I felt that Bai Yusheng’s choice of a newbie to be the female lead wasn’t reliable. Now, I feel that Bai Yusheng is Bai Yusheng. His judgment is good.”

“It’s not surprising that the viewership ratings are so high. The two episodes last night weren’t bad at all. They were super nice and exciting. It was only two episodes, but the pace was faster than many episodes. Qin Han’s acting is as good as ever, and Qiao Mianmian’s acting as the female lead isn’t bad either.”

“I thought Qiao Mianmian was just a pretty face. I didn’t expect her acting to be so good.”

“I didn’t want to see Qiao Mianmian when I first saw her as the female lead. But now, I want to say that her acting is really good. If you have a prejudice against her like me, you can take a look first before deciding if you want to watch her. Anyway, I’ve decided to continue watching this show.”

Qiao Mianmian saw that the netizens were praising her, and all her worries from last night were gone.

The ratings were better than she expected.

The netizens’ comments were better than expected.

Of course, some people still said that her acting wasn’t good and she wasn’t worthy of being the female lead.

Qiao Mianmian checked the accounts.

They were either Qin Han’s wife fans or anti-fans.

Hence, she ignored these comments.

Jiang Luoli sent her a WeChat message, too.

Jiang Luoli: [Baby, I saw your television drama last night. You acted so well. I think you’re going to be popular with this drama. Do your best, my superstar. I’m waiting for your autograph.]

Qiao Mianmian immediately replied: [You saw it, too?]

Jiang Luoli: [Of course. My baby is the female lead. I have to watch it. Let me tell you, Mo Shixiu watched it with me last night. Even he said that you acted well. Baby, you’re really suitable for acting. You have to film more dramas and movies. You can’t leave the entertainment industry just like that.]

Qiao Mianmian: [Why should I leave the entertainment industry?]

Jiang Luoli: [I just feel that you don’t lack anything now. Filming is hard, after all. What if you feel too tired and don’t want to do it anymore? Actually, I can understand even if you want to leave the entertainment industry. I just feel that it’s a pity.]

Qiao Mianmian smiled and replied: [Don’t worry, I don’t have such plans for the next two to three years. But you, are you still planning to be a director?]

Jiang Luoli: [Of course, being a director and producing a good movie has always been my dream. Since it’s my dream, how can I give up so easily? But now that Mo Shixiu doesn’t let me work, I can only stay at home every day. Thankfully, I can study scripts. Wait for me to write a good script. When the time comes, I’ll be the director and you’ll be my female lead. I must make a super-selling movie.]

Qiao Mianmian: [Alright, I’ll wait for you.]

After chatting for a while, Qiao Mianmian got out of bed and washed up.

…

Father Qiao was still in the hospital.

Because of Lin Huizhen and Qiao Anxin, Father Qiao was furious and stayed in the hospital for a long time.

Mo Yesi arranged for a professional to take care of him, so Qiao Mianmian wasn’t worried that Father Qiao wouldn’t be well taken care of.
