Chapter 344: Game Plan
Xiang Yu had been thinking of all sorts of ways to approach this upcoming battle.
When the enemy came, it would be disastrous if they fought near his sect. A battle of such level could completely destroy the Azure Cloud Sect. They couldnât rely on the defensive formations either since she probably had enough combat power to shatter them the moment she arrived.
But they also couldnât just march out to confront her before she reached the formations.
If they did that, they would be instantly killed since they were too weak to face her. They needed to hold her back with the formations for some time. He had already stacked ten attacking and defensive formations around the sect. He hoped they would be enough to delay her until he could destroy the flowers.
Even after dealing with the flowers, there would still be the issue with the after effects of such a battle. The collateral damage alone could devastate the surrounding area. This was why he had come up with another idea.
This entire battle was going to take place inside his void domain.
The moment the enemy stepped onto their territory, he would deploy his void domain and pull himself, Li Yao, and their opponent into it. He could control whatever happened inside his domain so it would be easy to avoid restricting Li Yao. He could even give her some buffs.
Inside the domain, the enemy would suffer debuffs, though Xiang Yu wasnât sure by how much. If their opponent possessed a strong enough domain of her own, she might even be able to negate the effect entirely. So Xiang Yu wasnât betting on it much.
It would mainly be up to him and Li Yao working together to keep the enemy busy and prevent her from escaping the domain.
He would coordinate with Li Yao during the fight. When they managed to catch their opponent off guard at just the right moment, Xiang Yu was prepared to dress her up with over a hundred heavenly-grade explosion talismans.
He would then immediately pull both himself and Li Yao out of the void domain and have Li Yao freeze the domain from the outside using Absolute Zero, making sure she canât break free.
Finally, he would use nihility collapse on the frozen domain, completely erasing everything.
âThatâs about it. What do you guys think?â Xiang Yu asked.
Both Li Yao and the Empress remained silent for several seconds.
The quiet stretched on uncomfortably, causing Xiang Yu to wonder if he had said something wrong. Had he miscalculated something in his plan? He had spent so much time crafting what he thought was the perfect strategy.
It was true that he hadnât accounted for every possible variable, but he didnât think those gaps would cause serious problems. The core plan was solid and had multiple backup measures built in.
[Youâve really thought this through. Itâs perfect,] the Empress finally broke the silence. She thought to herself that there wasnât much to add to this strategy. The plan seemed completely viable and had a high chance of success.
âI-I think so too,â Li Yao said. As expected of Senior Brother, she thought to herself.

Xiang Yu, Li Yao, and the Empress talked a bit more about the plan, readjusting several minor details to better account for Li Yao and the Empressâs involvement. After incorporating their suggestions and making a few more backup plans, the plan was basically perfect.
Meanwhile, the light clone Xiang Yu was in deep thought.
There was one small thing he hadnât properly accounted for, and that was their actual fighting styles during combat.
Thanks to his phoenix bloodline and the various other regeneration abilities stacking within his body, his build was that of a berserker type. He could throw himself into all sorts of situations without worrying too much about taking damage, since his body would heal almost instantly from most injuries. This made him excellent at sustained, aggressive combat where he could overwhelm opponents through relentless pressure.
But Li Yaoâs build was completely different.
Her build was that of a single DPS with little synergy with others. She was purely a strength-focused fighter, concentrating solely on dealing massive amounts of damage in short bursts.
Although this combination could be effective, it meant they had very little synergy with each other. They would probably be a disaster as an actual party. Their fighting styles were completely different, making coordination during battles much more difficult.
It was true that he was also an intelligence build on top of being a berserker, which seemed quite contradictory, but even with that, they still wouldnât be a balanced party overall.
He needed to fill in the support role as well so their party would be complete. A good support in this situation would probably focus on providing buffs to enhance their abilities. Unfortunately, most of the enhancements he possessed were designed to work only on himself, with no way to share the benefits with others.
Even so, there was one thing he thought he could potentially share with Li Yao. His regeneration ability. Thatâs right, he was going to become their healer.
He reasoned that if he could function as both a berserker type and a healer, then Li Yao wouldnât have to be as reserved during combat. They could both adopt berserker-style fighting, focusing purely on dealing maximum damage without worrying about any injuries they might receive. The constant healing would let them maintain aggressive pressure throughout the entire battle.
He nodded to himself, thinking that this approach was perfect.
Now he just needed to figure out how to share his regeneration with others.
His idea was to create some kind of healing skill that could work on allies.
He had played countless games and read numerous mage novels in his previous life so he understood the basics of how healing abilities should function. Even so, that knowledge was just theoretical foundation. He needed to develop something practical that could work in their specific situation.
Fortunately for him, one item he had made more than any other was healing pills.
As an alchemist and a high level medicine practitioner, he understood quite a bit about how healing pills delivered their effects and how they interacted with a cultivatorâs body.
The basic mechanism was condensing energy into a pill along with a special stimulant. This stimulant was designed to stimulate the regeneration aspects naturally present in every cultivatorâs body. When the pill was consumed, the stored energy would erupt, powering the stimulant as it worked.
The stimulant would then do its job, forcing the bodyâs natural recovery processes into overdrive and making someone heal much faster than normal. This allowed cultivators to recover from injuries that would otherwise take days or weeks to heal naturally.
Of course, this approach had significant limitations. It didnât restore much lost spiritual energy, and it couldnât do much for severe injuries since even when stimulated, natural regeneration still had its limits.
But all of that was about to change with Xiang Yuâs new approach to healingâŠ
