Chapter 2155: Chapter 2164: She Said She Likes Ms. Clark
The tall, striking beauty holding Enna Clarkâs other hand removed the flower garland from her own neck and placed it around Ennaâs, excitedly gesturing and speaking a long string of words to her.
Enna Clark didnât understand what she was saying and looked at her in confusion.
Olivia Lewis didnât understand either, so she asked Emily Goldsmith, who was next to her, "What is she saying to Enna?"
Emily Goldsmithâs expression was a bit strange. After a moment, she lowered her voice and said, "Well... sheâs proposing."
"What?!" Olivia Lewisâs voice was so loud she nearly jumped up, "What, proposing, a proposal? Youâre kidding me, right?"
She looked in shock at the tall beauty, noting her skin had a bronze tone, but in both figure and appearance, she was clearly a woman.
She pointed at the tall beauty, stammering, "But thatâs a woman, right?"
"Yes. In Mauritius, same-sex marriage is legal, and the ratio of women to men is three to one, so itâs very common for women to form families with other women. This woman probably likes Ms. Clarkâs type, so sheâs asking Ms. Clark if she has a boyfriend and if she wants to be together."
Olivia Lewisâs mouth dropped open in shock, and after a moment, she managed to say, "Impressive."
Speaking of which, isnât it typical to first be interested in someone before talking about marriage?
In any case, she seemed to have more femininity than Enna, right?
Emma, why does she feel like sheâs been a star for nothing?
This attractiveness level is way too low.
"Iâll go talk to her," Emily Goldsmith conscientiously decided to rescue Enna Clark after explaining the local culture to them.
She walked over to Enna Clark and spoke fluently to the other woman in the local language.
The woman seemed to show a look of disappointment, glanced again at Enna Clark beside her, and persistently chattered a lot to Emily Goldsmith.
Emily Goldsmith smiled and shook her head, then suddenly pointed to Bobby and Gigi playing not far away.
The beautiful woman turned to look at the two children, her eyes wide with surprise, and scrutinized Enna Clark before hanging her head in defeat, muttering and then walked away.
Olivia Lewis had been beside them the whole time and immediately asked after the woman left, "What did she say just now?"
"Letâs go have some cold drinks, itâs so hot," Emily Goldsmith led them to a nearby drink shop while explaining the previous conversation, "She said she really likes Ms. Clark and asked me to translate for Enna. I told her Ms. Clark has a husband. She said she didnât mind, she could duel for Ms. Clarkâs heart. I just told her Ms. Clark has two kids and wouldnât be with her. When she saw Tobias and Gigi, she was amazed. She thought Ms. Clark was a college student here on vacation, but after confirming those kids were Ms. Clarkâs, she praised Ms. Clark for looking so young that you wouldnât guess sheâs a mom of two. She said it was a great regret, but her morals didnât allow her to interfere with a family that has children, so she gave up on dueling with Ms. Clarkâs husband."
Olivia Lewis ordered three cups of coconut milk ice and chuckled, "Ennaâs husband is Young Master Lawrence, isnât it? Lucky she gave up, or sheâd be ground into dust by Young Master Lawrence."
Donât be ridiculous, competing with Young Master Lawrence for anyone?
Whenever it involves Enna, Young Master Lawrence couldnât care less if the opponent is a man or woman, heâd just grind them into the ground!
