Chapter 2476: Chapter 2485: Too Many to Remember
Olivia Lewis had seen her long ago, but didnât expect her to have the nerve to come up and chat.
She crossed her arms, glanced at Lena with interest, showing no intention of helping Adam Sinclair fend off admirers, and rather seemed amused by the situation. She whistled and said, "President Sinclair seems to be busy. Why donât you handle your business first, and Iâll go find Enna and the others."
Lena was furious with Oliviaâs dismissive attitude, and instinctively looked at the man in front of her.
She had already lost enough face; only this man could rescue her now.
It all depended on this manâs attitude.
She knew this man well, though he was wild and nonchalant, he was still gentlemanly, especially towards his ex-girlfriend.
She was certain of this, which is why she dared to block Adam Sinclairâs path to strike up a connection in front of so many people.
She had to lift the ban on herself, for which she could not care about anything else.
"Young Master Sinclair, are you free? Iâd like to invite you for a drink," Lena steadied herself, and spoke immediately after Olivia finished.
This could be considered as boldly taking someone from their company.
Her sudden move left the young stars who came with her stunned.
Others were mostly fine, just felt she was going too far, but Lavender, whom Lena had laughed at before, couldnât hold it any longer. She muttered quietly under her breath, "Heh, she had the nerve to laugh at me. I may have just been talking, but someone goes as far as doing such things. Queen of Acting? More like Queen of Thick Skin."
She had just left school and had an influential background, yet wasnât exposed to the dark side of the entertainment industry. Thatâs why she dared to speak so openly. Others might think Lenaâs actions were over the top, but wouldnât dare to lash out at Lenaâs face.
Though Lavenderâs voice was soft, it stood out sharply in the otherwise silent environment.
Lena felt as if sheâd been slapped in the face, her beautiful expression turned awkward, but her big eyes looked to Adam Sinclair for help.
This woman actually dared to mock her!
Forget it, her mocking actually helped Lena!
This man always pitied women, even if not for their past relationship, he should help her in her current plight.
Women understand women the best, Olivia knew exactly what Lena was thinking just by observing her reactions. She raised her brow and made up her mind. If Adam dared to go with this woman, she might reconsider her momâs words.
Luckily, Adam didnât keep her waiting long. He frowned, then grabbed Oliviaâs hand, "Weâll go together."
The next second, he glanced at Lena blocking their way, seemingly recalling, "Who are you...?"
Who are you!
Once he spoke those three words, the place fell into absolute silence!
Lenaâs legs were nailed to the spot, her eyes widened, unable to believe her ears.
Young Master Sinclair actually asked who she was?
Her voice trembled, "Young Master Sinclair, did you say that for Ms. Lewisâs sake?" Was he pretending not to know her for Oliviaâs sake?
Lying and oblivious, Olivia was at a loss for words.
Adam Sinclair sensed Oliviaâs hostile gaze, his body cooled, and subtly pulled her behind him. Looking at Lena again, his brows raised slightly with a trace of cold reminiscence, "I donât remember you, but I categorize the women I know in three ways: my mom, my future wife, my ex-girlfriend. There are too many of the third type. If youâre one of them, sorry, I canât recall."
