Mitchelle, Warlord Aerenya, and Warlord Brontagar floated downwards from above.
Although they hadnât known the rules of the Katanamanship spar and had initially been confused about why Anthony and Warlord Raelith suddenly stopped at the same time, Anthonyâs earlier statement about blocking or parrying clarified everything for them.
Still, that didnât remove the weight of their emotions. Being defeated by a junior wasnât something one could simply brush off.
"It seems my son wins this round," Mitchelle said, her gaze turning to Warlord Raelith.
Warlord Raelith instantly froze. Without hesitation, he bowed and apologized. "I apologize if I crossed any lines during the spar, Supreme Monarch."
After all, he had actively been trying to injure Anthony in front of his mother. But Mitchelle merely waved it off and responded,
"It was a spar, one Anthony himself proposed. It wouldnât have been a true spar if you held back because of my presence."
Warlord Raelith was about to apologize for asking Anthony for a battle recording if he had won, but Mitchelle cut him off mid-sentence, waving a hand.
"Donât bother about such things."
With a snap of her fingers, the chains linking Anthony and Warlord Raelith shattered into fragments of light. In that instant, both of them felt their mana and strength return in full.
Of course, if Anthony had wanted to, he could have simply ordered the system to lift the seal himself.
Mitchelle snapped her fingers again. This time, nature responded to her will. New trees sprouted, replacing the ones destroyed during the spar.
Mountains and hills that had been damaged stretched back to their former heights, reaching toward the sky.
Trenches and ravines that had torn open sealed shut instantly, as the battlefield was completely repaired by Mitchelleâs power.
"Itâs almost midday. I have to leave now," Mitchelle said softly.
The Warlords nodded. They had already taken measures and made preparations for her absence.
Mitchelle turned to Anthony, hugging him warmly before planting a kiss on his forehead.
"Donât miss me too much."
"Thatâs my line, Mom. Also, come back in one piece," Anthony replied with a grin.
"Your mother is the strongest in the universe. How could I possibly lose to anyone?" Mitchelle boasted with a smirk. Anthony smiled but said nothing in response, he couldnât argue with her confidence.
Mitchelle slipped a ring onto Anthonyâs finger. Anthony instinctively channeled mana into it to check its contents. Inside the spatial ring were countless potions, mana crystals, high-grade weapons, and numerous other resources.
"Stay safe," Mitchelle said to Anthony before turning to the Warlords. "Protect him in my absence."
"As you command, Supreme Monarch," the three Warlords responded with respectful tones.
Mitchelle nodded, and a glowing portal opened before her. Without hesitation, she stepped through it. As she vanished, her voice echoed in Anthonyâs mind.
âDonât hesitate to call me or your father in case of any danger. I will drop everything and return.â
Anthony smiled softly but didnât respond, his mother was already gone.
At the side, Warlord Raelith was deep in thought. âDid he end the spar simply because it was almost time for the Supreme Monarch to leave?â
The thought swirled in his mind, but he quickly shook his head, dismissing it. Whether true or false, it didnât change the outcome. He had still lost, fair and square.
Seeing that the Supreme Monarch had left, Warlord Brontagarâs battle intent subtly leaked from his large frame as he spoke.
"How about a spar of our own?"
Anthony was left speechless. He had only agreed to spar with Warlord Raelith because the man also used a katana. Anthony didnât typically waste his time with random spars.
"Warlord Brontagar, that wonât work. The Supreme Monarch isnât here to place us on equal footing," Anthony replied tactfully, using his motherâs absence as an excuse.
"Donât worry. We have military artifacts that can achieve the same effect, you donât have to worry about that." Warlord Brontagarâs grin widened as he spoke.
Anthonyâs lips twitched as he looked at the Titan before him. The man was a literal giant. Standing before him was like standing before a mountain. Compared to him, Anthony was no more than an ant in height.
"Maybe later, Warlord Brontagar. I just finished a spar with Warlord Raelith. I need time to recover physically," Anthony said calmly.
"I have a potion right here," Warlord Brontagar countered instantly, pulling one out.
âHe wonât give up, huh...â Anthony thought. He responded with a more convincing reason.
"I also have to digest the gains I made from the spar. This canât wait, Warlord Brontagar, or I might lose the insights I gained."
Anthonyâs words finally seemed to reach the giant. Warlord Brontagar nodded with understanding.
âHe kind of reminds me of the Storm Brother twins. I wonder how theyâre doing now. Maybe I should pay the domains a visit and check in on some of my old classmates,â Anthony thought to himself.
"Want to meet my students?" Warlord Raelith asked suddenly, turning his gaze toward Anthony.
His voice pulled Anthony out of his thoughts. "You have disciples?" Anthony asked, surprised. People at Raelithâs level rarely took students. Most Warlords kept their techniques and inheritance within their bloodline, reserved for their children. But then again, humans were shackled by class awakenings.
"You could show them a thing or two," Warlord Raelith said with a smile.
But Anthony shook his head and declined politely. "Nah, Iâm good. Iâm sure someone of your caliber is already more than enough for them. Besides, I have nothing to teach."
Warlord Raelith understood the tactical decline and didnât push further.
Without a word, Raelith took off his upper clothes on the spot, remaining only in his trousers. With a focused, unbroken expression, he began swinging his katana repeatedly. Every motion held dedication and discipline as he tried to digest and integrate everything he had gained from the Katanamanship spar with Anthony.
Anthony passed the footage of the Supreme Monarch-level battle to Warlord Aerenya, then vanished. Now that the spar was over, he had no reason to linger here.
He knew Warlord Brontagar might pester him again for a spar, but Anthony was confident he could avoid him.
"He truly is obsessed," Warlord Aerenya remarked, watching Warlord Raelith train under the blazing sun. "He began practicing immediately after losing, he didnât even move to a different location."
"Well, he better be quick about it. We have a battle recording to watch. We canât wait around forever," Warlord Brontagar replied.
"I know. Weâll give him a week. After that, weâll watch it without him," Warlord Aerenya declared.
With that, both she and Warlord Brontagar vanished from their positions, leaving only Warlord Raelith behind, his body moving in perfect sync with his katana, as he stood beneath the scorching midday sun, becoming one with his blade.
