CapĂtulo 892: Roses And Lotuses
Anthony stepped through the portal, and the moment he emerged on the other side, color, light, and reality itself flooded his vision. The sensation was brief yet welcoming, as though the world had momentarily lost its shape before reforming around him. One after another, the others stepped out behind him, taking their positions around him. They found themselves standing within a vast chamber inside what appeared to be a castle.
The walls were tall and elegantly structured, carved with designs that carried an ancient and regal air. The ceiling arched high above them, supported by pillars that radiated quiet money. Despite the grandeur of the place, it was still, unmistakably, just another room.
âBruh,â Lucian immediately complained, his voice echoing slightly within the chamber, âwhile I understand that youâre trying to find your girlfriend, at least you could have opened a portal to somewhere we can actually look around. This is our first time coming to the Celestial Planet, your home planet. You canât just bring us to a room. Weâve seen way too many rooms in our lives already.â
His frustration was clear, though beneath it lay disappointment. His plans of copying various abilities belonging to members of the Celestial race had vanished the moment they arrived somewhere so isolated. To him, this was a wasted opportunity.
âI second that,â Aura Nova replied immediately. She was big on exploration. As an avid reader, she loved discovering new places, tasting unfamiliar cuisines, and experiencing different cultures firsthand. She had been mildly excited about visiting the Celestial Planet, but being brought directly into a room, a fucking room, caused that excitement to evaporate almost instantly.
Aaaninja, hearing their complaints, simply shook his head as he replied calmly, âThere is nothing to explore. The same things that exist on your planets exist here as well. Nothing special.â He sighed softly as he spoke, as though this conversation had already tired him.
âI personally have a question,â Anthony stated. âI know planets exist on different scales and sizes, but how can the entire Celestial race fit into a single planet? Isnât that unreasonable?â He had always found this concept unmathematical in a sense. Fitting an entire race into one planet sounded insane. Wouldnât the planet eventually balloon outward and collapse? The same question applied to other top races as well.
Hearing Anthonyâs question, Aaaninja paused before beginning his explanation. âAlthough itâs called a planet, itâs not actually a planet per se. Just like how humans within our galaxy cannot fit onto a single planet, the same applies to us and other races.â He paused briefly, then continued, âWe have our own solar system, one that we created ourselves. Every planet within that solar system contains only members of the Celestial race⊠well, aside from normal races like beasts, monsters, and the like, obviously.â He gestured slightly as he spoke. âThen our entire solar system is sealed off within a separate plane of existence. Thatâs essentially how the Celestial race, and other top races, handle population and space.â
âI see,â Anthony murmured to himself.
With a thought, Anthony expanded his Sense Dome. Normally, he limited it to a few meters, or at most a kilometer, whenever he was around friends or other people. This time, however, it unfurled far wider, spreading outward with silent ease. Through it, he confirmed everything Aaaninja had explained. Not that he doubted him, Anthony simply preferred to see things for himself.
After observing the structure of the sealed plane and solar system, Anthonyâs senses shifted toward Zachary and Nyxss, Aaaninjaâs parents. They were seated within a pool of whitish, milky liquid, their bodies submerged as the substance worked to heal damage to their very essence.
âDonât they have healers or health potions?â Anthony thought to himself. He shook his head the next instant. Not every healer was as absurdly powerful as his grandmother, Irene, someone capable of healing planetary-level beings and restoring them to peak condition within a single day, as casually as taking a walk. With that thought, Anthony retracted his Sense Dome, reducing it back to a few meters around him. He wasnât particularly interested in spying on people.
The group began to move forward. The moment Aaaninja opened the door leading out of the chamber, a man standing outside immediately dropped to his knees.
âYoung Master, you are backâŠâ the man spoke, relief evident in his voice. He was Aaaninjaâs personal bodyguard, a man who had been with him since birth. He was also the one who had accompanied Aaaninja during his first encounter with a Ten-Winged Angel.
âYou can stop worrying,â Aaaninja said calmly as he placed a hand on the manâs shoulder. âYou know those Angels are only embarking on a suicide mission.â The man nodded silently. Although he knew of Aaaninjaâs power, worry was something he simply could not suppress.
With that, they walked past him and continued down the hallway. None of them teased Aaaninja for being called âYoung Master.â After all, they were all Young Masters in their own right, aside from Aura Nova, who had grown up as an orphan⊠but she was still a Young Master in a sense.
After making a few turns through the castleâs corridors, they arrived before another door. Aaaninja knocked calmly before pushing it open. Inside the room were roses and lotuses of various types and sizes, their fragrance filling the air. Sitting at a table within the room was Altheria. She sat casually, holding a glass filled with red wine, utterly unbothered.
Her eyes shifted toward the door. The moment they fell on Aaaninja, she smiled warmly. âYouâre back,â she said, her tone filled with love.
Aaaninja smiled like a man hopelessly smitten. âI am,â he replied. He walked forward and planted a kiss on her lips. None of the others entered the room. They remained at the doorway, watching as Aaaninja instantly turned romantic and openly affectionate.
Unlike Aaaninjaâs personal guard, who had worried endlessly during his absence, Altheria had not been concerned in the slightest. It wasnât that she cared less for him or lacked love. No, she simply knew how ridiculously strong he was. She had known that even before they began dating. If Vega were in Altheriaâs position, she would have reacted in the exact same way.
Aaaninja explained the groupâs plans to Altheria. She listened quietly, then shook her head with a smile, amused by his ability to travel into another Timeline, something she hadnât been aware of. She wasnât naive enough to believe she knew all of Aaaninjaâs abilities. To her, he might as well invent a new one every day.
She stood from her seat and spoke calmly. âLetâs go then.â With that, the group prepared to move.
