Harunaâs scoff was a whipcrack, sharp enough to draw blood. "Hmph... Pathetic." Her dark eyes raked over me, slow and deliberate, like she was measuring me for a coffin. Then she shook her head, a single, dismissive jerk of her chin. "Even daring to think about my sister..."
She moved closerânot enough to touch, but close enough that I could smell her: jasmine and something darker, like burnt sugar. The kind of scent that clung to skin after a night of sin. Her fingers tapped against her arm, restless, betraying the storm beneath her cold composure. The air between us thickened, heavy with the kind of silence that comes before a blade finds its mark.
"Honestly?" Her voice was a velvet blade, slicing through the tension. "Sister Yukoâs never shown interest in dating. Not once." A pause. A smirk.
"Doesnât go on dates. Doesnât talk about relationships. Doesnât even look at men, I guess she doesnât like menâ" Her gaze flicked to me, then away, too fast. "I think my sister is a Lesbian."
I let her words hang there, suspended like a dropped glove.
Innocent, if you didnât know better. If you hadnât seen the way Yukoâs breath hitched when I brushed past her in the hallway, how her fingers trembled when I let my thumb graze her wristâaccidentally, of course. If you hadnât noticed the way her eyes lingered on my mouth when she thought no one was looking.
Harunaâs jealousy was a living thing, coiled tight in her chest. Sheâd never admit it, but it radiated off her in wavesâhot, suffocating. I could taste it.
Then Hannah struck.
With a giggle that was equal parts mischief and malice, she launched herself at me. I caught her effortlessly, my hands finding the dip of her waist, the heat of her skin through the thin fabric of her shirt.
She was small, but she moved with the confidence of someone who knew exactly how much space she was allowed to take. And right now, she was taking all of it.
I twisted, letting her momentum carry us both onto the couch. She landed sprawled across my chest, her legs tangling with mine, her breath warm against the hollow of my throat. "Jack," she murmured, her voice muffled against my skin, "when are we leaving for America?"
I didnât hide my smirk. "Anytime you want, princess." My fingers threaded through her hair, slow, deliberate, just to watch Harunaâs jaw tighten. The way her nostrils flared, the way her fingers curled into her palmsâlike she was fighting the urge to rip Hannah off me and take her place.
Harunaâs exhale was sharp, a bullâs warning before the charge. "Letâs go tomorrow," she snapped, but her voice cracked at the edges, betraying her.
"College doesnât start for five days. Plenty of time to get settled before classes." Her gaze flicked to Hannah, still draped over me like a second skin, and her smile turned sweet. Poisonous. "Unless youâd rather stay."
Hannahâs breath was a slow, deliberate tease against my collarbone. She wasnât just breathingâshe was marking me, her lips parted just enough that I felt the damp heat of her sigh like a brand. Her fingers traced idle patterns on my chest, her nails scraping lightly over the fabric of my shirt, just shy of pain.
"Tomorrow works," she purred, tilting her head back to meet my gaze. Her eyes were dark, knowingâthe kind of look that said sheâd already mapped out every dirty little move in this game before Iâd even realized we were playing.
I should have been focused. Shouldâve been planning. But fuckâthe way her body fit against mine, soft where I was hard, yielding where I was rigidâmade it difficult to remember why I gave a damn about anything but the way her pulse jumped under my palm. The way her hips shifted, just slightly, like she was testing how far she could push before Iâd snap.
"Then itâs settled," I drawled, letting my grin turn lazy, cocky. The air was thick with itâperfume and gunpowder, the scent of arousal and the electric hum of barely leashed rage. Three women in one room, each a live wire of want or violence.
"Pack light," I murmured, my fingers tracing a slow circle on the small of Hannahâs back, just above the waistband of her jeans. The skin there was fever-hot, her muscles tensing under my touch. "We wonât need much."
Not when I could provide everything else.
Hannahâs favorability was maxed outâmy

ability still thrumming from when Iâd filled her, when Iâd made her scream my name until her voice gave out. She turned her head just enough to lock eyes with Haruna, her lips curling into something sharp and predatory. "Oh, you havenât heard?" Her voice dropped to a conspiratorial purr, her fingers tightening on my hip. "Our boy hereâs got... talents."
She leaned in, close enough that Haruna got a front-row seat to the way her tongue flicked over her lower lip. "Incubus bloodline," she whispered, like she was sharing a secret. "Means he doesnât just fuckâ" A pause. A smirk. "He ruins."
Then she listed my abilities like a litanyâHealer. Storage. Telekinesis. Teleportationâeach word a needle under Harunaâs skin. But it was the last one that made Harunaâs breath hitch, her cheeks flushing that telltale pink. "Thatâsâ" Her voice cracked. She swallowed, tried again. "Thatâs why it didnât hurt... even though it was my first timeâ"
"Yeah." Hannahâs nails dug into my hip, just shy of pain. "Heâs good like that."
I let my laugh rumble through my chest, low and dark, because fuckâif I wasnât enjoying this, then I wasnât breathing. Harunaâs pupils blew wide, her irises swallowed by black, her teeth sinking into her bottom lip hard enough to draw blood. The copper tang of it hit the air, sharp and sweet, and I could taste her want like it was my own. Predictable. So fucking delicious.
Hannahâs fingers tightened around me, her thumb pressing in as she purred something filthy into Harunaâs ear.
I didnât catch the words, but I didnât need toâthe way Harunaâs breath hitched, the way her thighs pressed together like she was trying to stifle an ache, told me exactly what Hannah had promised her.
And oh, Iâd deliver.
The conversation dissolved into noise after that, their voices weaving into a haze of laughter and half-formed plans. Julieâs gaze burned into the side of my face, but I didnât look at her. Not yet. Hannahâs breath was a slow, deliberate tease against my skin, her body fitted to mine like sheâd been made for it.
Then I stood, stretching like a cat, my muscles flexing. Hannahâs gaze darkened as she watched me, her tongue darting out to wet her lower lip. I crooked a finger at her, then at Haruna. "Letâs take a Shower. Now."
