After finishing the last email, Jian Qing put aside her computer, a small smile on her lips, “Someone who is determined to win over Bai Jue.”

Xiya’s eyes sparkled instantly, sensing an unusual gossip-edit flavor.

“What’s the situation?”

“I’m not exactly sure, Bai Jue teased him and gave him a nickname, but didn’t expect, in the process, to actually attract him.” Jian Qing explained.

“Sounds quite interesting,” Xiya said, her eyes squinting with amusement, “Seems like my visit here today was a good idea.”

The two were chatting merrily when the doorbell rang.

Jian Qing stood up and walked towards the door. Seeing two familiar faces on the screen, she pressed the button to let them in.

Soon, Quan Yifei and Zhan Mingyan arrived.

As they entered, they saw Xiya sitting on the sofa.

The very next second, their gazes were drawn to Xiya’s bulging belly.
