Different objects will generate different effects when marked:

Inorganic matter:

Once they have been marked by the “Void Mark”, they will undergo three stages of transformation over a certain period of time:

‘Ether’ → ‘Starlight’ → ‘Causality’.

(Upon reaching the ‘Starlight’ stage, individuals are considered dead; upon reaching the ‘Causality’ stage, the nature of life itself will transform)

90% of them can only experience the ‘ether’ level transformation, losing their human form and turning into grotesque creatures made of piled-up flesh.

9% can reach the ‘Starlight’ stage of transformation, losing their human form, reconstructing their consciousness, and transforming into intelligent lifeforms superior to humans that are capable of using a little bit of void magic.

Less than 1% of individuals can undergo the final ‘Causality’ transformation, ultimately shaking off the confines of carbon-based life and turning into Void creatures, targeted by Dean Richard as valued elite subordinates.

2. Non-human, low-level animals.

They immediately undergo ether transformation (only the first stage), and turn into corrupted pets for Dean Richard to command, usually used for patrol and reconnaissance.

3. Plants are able to absorb Void Energy through the mark, quickly grow into multi-shape Void vegetation (some develop simple self-awareness by constructing an intercellular neural system), often used for building defenses, stabilizing Void Gates, and external skeletal devices.
