Chapter 2091: Chapter 2093: Jiang Nuan vs. Fu Yi 94
She represented Fu Yi, as the biggest investor daddy, when daddy spoke, it wasnât a big deal, the staff member graciously said, "Are you referring to Gu Qing? Okay, is it alright if we move her to the last spot?"
"Sure. Will it affect your work?"
The investor daddy was surprisingly warm, the staff member showed an unexpected look of surprise, then immediately broke into a smile, speaking more sincerely, "Just changing the sequence for the auditioning actors wonât affect us, itâs just that the actors ahead need to advance one spot, but itâs no big deal, after all, everyone needs to audition, going in one spot ahead or one spot later doesnât make a difference."
Jiang Nuan felt relieved, "Thatâs good."
"Iâll go and inform them right away."
"Okay."
Jiang Nuan didnât go over with her, first, she wasnât familiar with Gu Qing nor did she have any intention of befriending her, second, if she went over, it would inevitably cause unnecessary trouble. She doesnât like trouble, nor is she good at handling it.
So, Jiang Nuan didnât go over, nor did she stay to watch the developments, instead, she went back the way she came, directly inside.
"Hello Gu Qing Jie, we just received notification, your audition sequence has changed, youâve been moved to the last spot."
As soon as the staff member went over, they immediately informed them about the sequence change for auditions.
Gu Qing and Gu Qingâs assistant naturally showed surprise.
"Thatâs great Qing Jie, Iâll go buy you a new dress!"
"Okay, go on."
The others werenât as happy, especially Nie Huan, who was the first to stand up and protest, angrily saying, "The audition sequence is something we agreed on early, changing it so suddenly is unfair to others, also, why change the sequence when everythingâs been going well?"
She had spent half the day figuring out how to ruin Gu Qingâs dress, it looked like she succeeded, but in the end, it was all for nothing, how could she swallow this anger?
"Whereâs your leader, I want an explanation!"
The staff member sharply retorted, "Nie Huan Jie, the audition sequence wonât affect anyoneâs performance, thereâs no unfairness, is it fair to let Gu Qing Jie audition in a torn dress? Bright Starry Sky is looking for actors with great acting skills, those who fit the role, who can interpret the role well. Everyone here is a good actor; we donât want a minor issue to affect anyoneâs performance in the audition."
She paused, then continued firmly, "As for your request to see our leader, sorry, even our leader canât decide this. The sequence change was a decision by the investors, Iâm just a messenger, even if our leader came, they wouldnât change the result. You should hurry up and prepare for the audition!"
After her articulate response, the waiting room fell silent as a mouse, even those who were previously unhappy with Nie Huan about the sudden sequence change dared not speak up.
No choice, thatâs how awesome the staff at Bright Starry Sky is!
The boss backing them has incredible influence, from the boss to the general manager, theyâre famous in the industry for protecting their own.
Other companies might fire a staff member just to appease a star, but at Bright Starry Sky, unless a staff member makes a mistake themselves, the boss doesnât care about anyoneâs face!
Nie Huan clearly understood she couldnât afford to offend Bright Starry Sky, nor the people behind it, so she had to swallow the bitter pill silently, cursing Gu Qing as a sly fox under her breath, then went to the side to study the script.
