Chapter 5 - Strange Breakfast Conversation

Breakfast was delicious, and the new tea my mother had recently bought was incredibly refreshing, although the aftertaste was a little strange and somewhat familiar, but that didn’t matter.

- (Me). "Thank you for breakfast. It gets tastier and tastier every day. Mom is a godlike cook."

After eating my meal, I thanked my mother, cleared the table, and washed the dishes.

- (Karin). "You’re welcome, dear. I’m always happy to cook something delicious for you, Mom or Phoebe."

- (Runo). "Yes, your dishes are very tasty, but they are far from my level, Ara-Ara.

- (Karin). "That was very good. Also, Sohen, did you forget what we talked about yesterday? We’re getting new neighbors in a week, so you have to be home with us then to welcome them. We need to show them that we’re good and friendly people."

After that, I went to my room.

- (Me). "Damn. A little more time and it would have been dangerous. You reacted too fast."
