With a tilt of his head, the child also lifted a hand and pulled at Xu Ke’s face in return.

“Who dictated that humans can’t live on Demon Mountain? Aren’t you also a mortal who ended up here unharmed?”

He answered earnestly.

Xu Ke was stupefied at first, but then he seemed to be in full agreement with the child’s words.

He clapped happily: “You’re absolutely right. Beasts and humans can certainly coexist harmoniously.”

“That’s indeed the case in our sect.”
