Richard was in a very good mood this morning.
He dressed neatly and went to the Red Star Empressâs residence once again.
Boundless Cityâhe liked that city for its liveliness.
Even without a reason for a date, he was still happy to go there.
When he arrived at the gate, the first thing he saw was Prince Alex practicing swordsmanship in the courtyard.
Just yesterday he had seen Richard come to this house, and now, early in the morning, he had come again.
Regardless of what he was thinking, Prince Alex still approached Richard.
Richard was not someone he could ignore, given that his status was above his own within the kingdom.
"Richard!" he greeted him, wearing an expression full of curiosity about his purpose.
"Is the Empress ready?" Richard asked, which only confused Prince Alex even more.
"Oh, you might not know. Weâre going to Boundless City today," Richard added.
Of course, Prince Alex knew that. His mother had already told him.
He had thought it was a personal trip, but it turned out Richard was going along as well.
"What are you going to do there?" Prince Alex asked.
"There are many things," Richard replied casually.
How could he not know that Prince Alexâs instincts were telling him something was offâthough it hadnât reached the level of conscious suspicion, only a vague feeling.
He didnât harbor any strange doubts, but his instincts filled him with curiosity.
Before either of them could say anything else, Richard saw the Red Star Empress appear at the doorway, looking at him with furrowed brows.
She looked extraordinaryânot flashy, but bearing the elegance of a noblewoman, her hair neatly tied up, wearing a tight black dress designed for composure, paired with a simple gold necklace adorned with a light-blue, star-shaped diamond pendant.
Her charm made Richard feel aroused instantly.
(You should have waited for me outside the city!)
Suddenly, the womanâs voice echoed in Richardâs head.
Clearly, his coming directly to her residence had unsettled her.
Perhaps she didnât want anything that might make Prince Alex suspicious of a secret scandal between them.
Richard chose not to respond, merely smiling from afar.
The Red Star Empress then pretended to act as usualâcalm and wise.
"Richard, I asked for your help, yet youâre the one whoâs ready first. I was just about to come pick you up, and you came on your own. It seems Iâve troubled you again," she said with a sigh.
Richard was surprised by how natural her acting was, but then he thought it made sense. Who in this kingdom was more accustomed to maintaining appearances than the Red Star Empress?
"Your Majesty, it would be impolite to make you come pick me up... People might think Iâve become arrogant after attaining a high position," Richard replied.
"You should also learn to value yourself when others ask for your help... Well, fine. Since youâre already here, letâs go now!"
The Red Star Empress waved her hand, summoning her carriage from her Storage Artifact.
However, it wasnât the carriage she usually used.
It wasnât inferior, but it was a common type, not representing any particular identity.
It was also larger, about five meters wide and long.
"Mother, what are you going to do in Boundless City?" Prince Alex couldnât help asking, driven by curiosity.
"Important matters, in short. Donât worry, itâs nothing dangerous," the Red Star Empress replied, gesturing for Richard to board the carriage first.
Richard stepped inside.
Inside, there were three sofas facing one another, each capable of seating up to three people, with windows visible from every side.
In the center was a round table with fruits placed on top.
Casually, Richard picked up a green grape and tossed it into his mouth before sitting down, waiting for the Red Star Empress, who still seemed to be talking to Prince Alex.
When the woman boarded the carriage, it had already begun to fly before she closed the door.
After closing it, she let out a sigh, looking at Richard, who appeared relaxed, and gazed at him with her signature faint smile.
"You make me uneasy," she said before sitting on a sofa opposite from Richard.
"Your Majesty, Prince Alex wonât think strangely about us. Iâm sure of it," Richard replied.
"Alex isnât a child. Heâll grow suspicious if he keeps sensing that something is off," the Red Star Empress said.
Richard didnât want to argue about this, so he didnât respond further.
Instead of speaking, he stood up and walked over to her sofa, startling the Red Star Empress with his sudden approach.
He sat beside her and immediately wrapped his arms around her.
"You look very beautiful today, Your Majesty," he said, touching her slender, irresistibly alluring face.
The Red Star Empress became powerless as everything turned into touch.
However, Richard didnât want to mess up her dress, so he didnât do anything too rough.
He opened the slit of her dress, revealing her thigh, and gently caressed it.
The Red Star Empress could only watch his actions, until she was suddenly stunned.
Richardâs face suddenly lowered to her thigh and kissed it.
He gently sucked on it, then licked it with his tongue.
The Red Star Empressâs face instantly flushed as warm breaths escaped her lips.
Comfortableâpleasantâthat was what she felt.
Unconsciously, she held Richardâs head.
Her imagination even began to run wild. Her mind pictured what it would be like if Richardâs face went deeper into her dress and kissed the most hidden place there.
The Red Star Empress couldnât deny that she greatly enjoyed Richardâs desire for her.
In her eyes, it was unique, beautiful, and intense.
She wanted to moan because it truly felt pleasurable. However, she chose to hold herself back to maintain her composure.
After all, it was still morning, and she was already dressed neatlyâhow could she possibly moan?
Fortunately, Richard didnât continue for long. He soon stopped and smiled at her, taking two green grapesâeating one himself while placing the other against the Red Star Empressâs lips.
She could only accept it with a helpless expression.
