The large amount of energy it would take meant Gary didnât usually go straight to his strongest form. He liked to figure out everything the opponent could do, especially when there was still a large group of vampires that they possibly had to deal with.
The situation took a turn, and Gary had no choice though. His body had changed into the large Shadow Ash Lycan form, with the smoke constantly flowing out of his body, and the veins lighting up with raw red energy.
The vampires looked at the creature in disgust and were even mumbling among each other.
âWhat even is that?â Numan said. âIt doesnât seem like a typical Werewolf⊠is it one of those?â
âNo, they look slightly different,â Haylock answered. âAnd youâve seen the people around Gary. Those types of Werewolves almost have no sense of morality, but Gary clearly isnât like that⊠this is something else⊠and believe me, itâs troublesome to fight against.â
Lucien had been taking the fight seriously the entire time. He had never let Gary hit him on purpose. The King getting hit even slightly would be somewhat of an embarrassment, but it was a situation he couldnât avoid.
He knew that Gary was indeed strong for a Werewolf, and now seeing he had more to show, he had to tread cautiously.
[Ember Dash]
The first move in Garyâs arsenal, it was always to start the fight fast. When he was in the Shadow Ash form, it was the best way before the opponent could figure out everything.
It was a faster version of Lethal Pounce, allowing him to leave a trail of fire in his path. As he got close, Gary leapt where the King was and swung both of his arms down. It hit Lucienâs arms, and the red pulse reacted, but Gary pushed through, swinging them down.
When this would happen before, Lucien was able to react back by getting his arms back in place in time, but Gary was ready for a follow-up attack. His mouth was lighting up, and opening it wide, a spiral flame came shooting out and directly hit Lucien in the face.
The flames were intense and pushing him back, with his guard up, he was using his blood aura to combat it as it spun around. Breaking right through the fire though was Gary himself, as he grabbed onto Lucienâs shoulder, and then threw him in the air, he quickly kicked him with his leg, pushing him even further up in the air.
âThese vampires really had no idea who they were dealing with!â Park said with a large smile. âSo what if heâs king of the vampires, Gary is also a king!â
Seeing Gary fight like this, all of them were impressed. Gary was using his skills, flowing well one after the other, and due to his large amount of energy, he could use a large amount of them without having to worry.
Bending his knees, Gary then jumped up so he was in a position that was even higher than Lucien.
âIâm going to finish this, as quickly as possible!â Gary exclaimed as he spun his body, and fire started to come out from his entire body.
[Volcanic Burst]
Gary spiraled in the air and hit Lucienâs body. Like a comet, the two of them went crashing into the floor. Flames erupted on the floor until they had passed everyone, and a large crater had been created in the middle of the street.
Numan, Jin, and Haylock, they were left speechless with their mouths slightly wide open, and it was the same for the other vampires that were watching.
âNow Iâm quite glad I didnât fight him in that form⊠itâs more dangerous than I thought,â Haylock laughed.
âThis is no laughing matter!â Jin shouted. âThe King, we have to help him some way.â
âLook at yourself worrying for the King,â Haylock said. âYou should know that the King is not done yet⊠he still has a lot more that he can call upon.â
âRight, but would he go so far to use it?â
When Gary looked at the ground, he saw the vampire quickly move away from his position and had repositioned himself so he was close to his allies. His arm was broken, but it was healing in front of them.
Blood had come out of his mouth, clearly showing he had done some damage.
âI have to admit you caught me by surprise,â Lucien commented as he cracked his neck seemingly back into place. âTo be in this state in front of this many people, it is not a good look for us vampires.â
Gary gritted his teeth as he was carefully watching Lucien. During the two of them going back and forth, he always felt like there was something Lucien could do at any time. It was the second reason why Gary was trying to finish the fight as soon as possible.
It was why he was even cautious now, if he charged in, he felt like there was a high chance that it would be the end of the fight, and he would be the one on the losing end.
âDo you know, there is a key difference between the vampire leaders and the King,â Lucien said as he lifted his hand. âSomething that only the King has compared to anyone else. All of the Kings of the past had utilized this power and in doing so they created something unique to them that would aid with their fighting style or powers⊠and itâs the same for me.â
The three leaders looked at each other, uneasy. They knew what was coming, but felt conflicted about the King doing such a thing.
âYou donât have to do this, we can fight him,â Jin claimed.
âNo, itâs fine. I need to show this Werewolf how large the gap is between us two,â Lucien claimed. âAs I was saying earlier, let me show you the power of the Vampire King. Absolute Blood ControlâŠâ Lucien's eyes glowed red intensely, and a tingling sensation in everyoneâs body was felt as if the blood was trying to leave through their skin.
