Chapter 1504: Chapter 815: Transition 2

Before Qing Chen could finish speaking, Jindai Yunxiu had already dashed out, wielding her blade as the Qieshe Yumian Ultimate Move unleashed a torrent of blade light in a downward sweep.

In an instant, more than ten vehicles were sliced in half in succession.

The four A-Class hunters from Europe hadn’t even made a move yet, and their first enemy had already fallen.

…

…

The news of Joker’s massacre at the Deer Island headquarters had spread throughout the entire Time Travelers’ World.

His revenge arrived quickly and fiercely, and Joker even allowed Deer Island to call for reinforcements just to wipe them out in one fell swoop.

Leaving aside his combat power, his style of action—aiming to obliterate an entire organization—was truly terrifying.

And now, it was Deer Island; who would be next?

Within one night, the Kingdom and the Future Organization decided to join forces again. Not only that, but their forces in New York also began to embark on ships.

The gene-modified orcs, which had once appeared fleetingly on the streets of New York, were loaded onto ships, ready to be transported to Amsterdam to counterattack Joker.

But on the morning of the third day after returning, at 8 a.m., everyone received another piece of news: “The Kingdom organization’s branch in Amsterdam has been annihilated.”

You must know, the Kingdom organization’s headquarters were quite concealed. After their New York headquarters was destroyed, their forces had been forced to go underground.

Yet, despite hiding so well, they were still found by Joker!

This could only mean one thing: Joker was well-prepared and came with clear intentions!

At this point, the ship that was meant to transport the gene-modified orcs unexpectedly turned back halfway, as if the Kingdom organization had silently accepted that Europe was under Joker’s control…

The Kingdom organization had to evade confrontation temporarily!

This put the Future Organization in a tough spot; they were still preparing for battle, expecting their allies, only to have them turn back home!

On the fifth day after their return, the Future Organization’s branch in Europe was also annihilated.

This event didn’t even stir much attention domestically, because after the big news everyone had experienced, it seemed almost expected for Joker to do something like this.

Afterward, only one person was grumbling.

Jindai Yunluo looked at the cooler in his hand, muttering, “Only four pairs of eyeballs? That’s way too few! I estimated there’d be at least a dozen!”

Qing Chen laughed and said, “Take it slow. I’ve found a new battlefield for you, where there will be more eyeballs.”

Jindai Yunluo became alert: “You’re talking about the West Continent, right? So soon and you’re planning to stir up trouble there?”

“Wait for my message in City 5. Once I have a foothold and find a base, I’ll figure out how to bring you guys over,” Qing Chen said, preparing to leave.

“Hold on a minute!” Jindai Yunluo asked curiously, “Where are you heading to now? We are your Couriers; we should at least know where you’re going, right? Are you planning to attack mainland North America?”

“You guys head back to Whale Island first, and don’t delay your training,” Qing Chen waved as he walked away.

He didn’t say where he was going, nor what he planned to do.

Jindai Yunluo pouted, “Ever since he was targeted on Mount Everest, his whereabouts have become completely unpredictable, like a true Joker.”

“So, are we going to the West Continent with him?” Yun Xiu asked.

“Of course we are,” Jindai Yunluo said with a smile, “Didn’t you notice? He’s gathering all available forces, so he’s definitely planning something huge. How could we miss out on such an intriguing event?”

…

…

Countdown 10:00:00.

Outside the Snow Peak Wing Suit Flying Training Base in the Alps Mountain Range, a young guest arrived.

Every year, large numbers of people come here to undergo the most comprehensive and grueling training. Some are extreme sports enthusiasts starting from scratch, while others are advanced players. The world’s most renowned wing suit flying instructors are virtually all here.

The tuition fee is even more expensive than climbing Mount Everest.

The Snow Peak Training Base is very strict about the number of students it admits annually—no more than 36—because, as they put it, wing suit flying is the most dangerous of extreme sports, and only the highest quality teaching can ensure the students’ safety.

A Great Snow had just fallen in the Alps, marking the true arrival of summer.

Qing Chen approached the door and gently knocked, looking at the middle-aged woman inside: “Hello, I made a reservation. I’m the student scheduled to report today.”

The middle-aged woman warmly hugged him: “From your accent, are you from England?”

Qing Chen smiled and replied, “Yes, I came from Birmingham.”

The middle-aged woman laughed, “I’ve been to Birmingham. You probably weren’t even born then—a long canal runs through the city, with hardworking workers on both banks.”

As she spoke, the woman dusted off Qing Chen’s shoulder: “According to the schedule you registered for, you’ll undergo closed training for 8 weeks before attempting your first real flight. By the way, I’ve prepared tea and biscuits for you. It’s teatime, the perfect chance for you to introduce yourself to your classmates. Also, we have some people here with very special status; if your budget allows, you might seek some help from them.”

“Hmm?” Qing Chen was taken aback, “People with very special status?”

“Yes,” the woman replied, “Oh, and you can call me Alice.”

“Alright, thank you,” Qing Chen said, puzzled, as he followed her inside.
