Shiro spent the next two weeks resting up in the sect. Occasionally, she would go to the library to visit Arwen.
Otherwise, she would spend most of her time with Attie and Yin. During this time, she had also sent a message to Helion, telling him that she was delaying the deadline a little since she was injured, allowing him to have more time to do research on the sword.
In addition to this, Attie seemed to be slighter closer to Li Jian since he was always looking for ways to entertain the young spirit.
Naturally, Shiro wasnāt too against this since Attie was enjoying it but the fact that the old man didnāt give up on becoming Attieās grandfather was a little worrisome.
Today was her final check up but Shiro didnāt need a medic to know that she was fully recovered. After all, Nimue was finally awake.
āYo, youāve been out of commission for quite a while. What happened?ā Shiro asked with a casual smile.
*PUCHI!
Seeing this, Nimue immediately felt like a vein was about to burst.
{Ok, you of all people canāt ask me what happened. So god damn suicidal! I swear your body was already breaking halfway through the fight against that Guardian and right after that you decide to tax your body more by borrowing the mana from the Earth! Are you trying to reduce your links to ash?! Do you know how much trouble it was to try keeping everything from breaking???} Nimue raged as she stomped over to a tree and ripped it out from the ground before tossing it into the air.
āHaha, but weāre alive now arenāt we? Thanks to Lilā Tian achieving tier 6 elemental magic, we were able to drive off the guardian.ā Shiro laughed.
Waving her hand, she brought the tree back to the island before repairing the roots.
{Hais... I donāt even know why weāre alive.} Nimue rolled her eyes before sinking her body into the water.
āDo you not want to come out for a bit? Iziuelās been enjoying the sect quite a bit. Attieās also having some fun too.ā Shiro asked.
{Nah itās fine. Look at my body and tell me if I should go out. I may be conscious now but Iām still injured.} Nimue sighed before standing up once more. Compared to before, her body was definitely struggling to keep its shape but she was barely able to manage.
Furrowing her brows, Shiro could only sigh.
āSorry.ā She apologised since this was partially her fault for being so reckless against the Guardian.
{Donāt be like that. Itās better to be wounded than dead. At least I can recover from this. Death? Not so much.} Nimue shrugged as Shiro chuckled.
{So do you have anything interesting for me? I have been unconscious for quite a while.} She asked curiously.
āWell... there are quite a few things to go through.ā Shiro smiled.
Making herself comfortable, she started to tell Nimue about Zesli, the Norman incident, Li Jianās identity and Attieās current state of āgrowing upā.
{Heh~ Youāve been quite busy huh? Iāll tell you what though, I can see why Estrella was excited and happy about Attieās speed of growth. After all, I can count on one hand the amount of spirits thatās able to do the same as Attie.} Nimue smiled.
āIt is really that hard though?ā Shiro asked curiously since it didnāt seem difficult to Shiro.
{Well to your eyes maybe not. But for a spiritās, thereās a huge mental barrier that you must surpass in order to begin your āgrowth.ā If I had to describe it, itāll be akin to a kid wanting to go into a dungeon so that he could level up and advance in class.} Nimue explained as Shiro nodded.
āHmm fair enough. Anyways, I need to go for my check up now. If everything is ok, Iāll go visit Arwen in the library to hold up my side of the agreement then Iāll go meet Helion. If Lilā Tian is still in seclusion then Iāll probably leave him a note or something.ā Shiro nodded before leaving the mana realm.
Getting dressed, Shiro started to make her way to the medic bay. Attie, Yin, Iziuel and Estrella were waiting by her side since this was probably their last day in the sect.

"Yup, everything is ok now. Your body has fully recovered and there are no more backlash effects." The healer smiled as Shiro nodded her head.
Stretching her body, she picked up Attie before leaving the room.
"So are you leaving now?" Li Jian asked with a smile.
"Yup. Of course, I want to say goodbye to Lilā Tian and Arwen first. Though it seems like Lilā Tian is still in seclusion so I donāt want to bother him too much." Shiro smiled.
"Do you want anything to help you on the journey then? I know that my boy has been quite helpful but since heās in seclusion right now, it would probably be best for you to get some protection. I donāt want to see him heartbroken after all." Li Jian smiled as Shiro shook her head.
"Nah it should be fine. Itās not like Iām going to look for trouble now am I?"
"No no no. You donāt understand. Iām not afraid of you looking for trouble but rather trouble looking for you." Li Jian laughed.
"Ok thatās very true since Iāve ran into two Queens and a demon god in the span of a few weeks." Shiro shrugged.
"Mn, but here, take this. It should help you out quite a bit should you ever get into a pickle." Li Jian smiled as he threw her a coin of sorts.

"Well damn, isnāt this quite handy?" Shiro raised her eyebrow.
"Are you sure you want to give me this old man?"
"Yes. If youāre safe, it means Attieās safe. If youāre both safe, it makes me happy." Li Jian smiled.
"Itās making me feel bad since I donāt have anything to give you." Shiro scratched her head in embarrassment.
"Donāt worry about it. As long as A-"
"My son isnāt calling you grandpa."
"Tsk, stingy. I just gave you a powerful life saving item too." Li Jian clicked his tongue.
"Sorry, youāre gonna have to try much harder than that to become my sonās grandpa old man." Shiro grinned.
"Fine whatever. Just make sure you stay safe out there. The world is becoming more dangerous especially with these Queenās making their existence known." Li Jian warned.
"I know. Iāll go talk to Arwen now. Take care old man." Shiro waved as Li Jian nodded.
"See you later young lady."
Making her way to the Library, Shiro flexed her fingers and created a tablet of sorts filled with information about Aria.
Swiping her key card once more, the door to the Library opened up.
"Arwen!" Shiro called out with a smile.
"Youāre back. From the looks of things, youāre leaving now." Arwen smiled. Even after two weeks of interacting with him, his figure was still shrouded but Shiro didnāt mind.
"Iāve come to fulfil my part of the promise from last time. This tablet should have information that isnāt recorded here." Shiro smiled as she passed him the tablet.
"Thank you for helping me these past few weeks." She bowed slightly since he was able to tell her exactly which records to look for should she be curious, saving her lots of time.
"Youāre welcome. Your presence has elevated my boredom. Hopefully this tablet can do the same haha." Arwen laughed as Shiro nodded.
"Take care. Iām not sure when Iāll be able to visit you again."
"Mn, you too." Watching Shiro leave, Arwen looked down at the tablet before sitting down on the chair.
Not too long after, Li Jian appeared in the Library.
"Are you not going to show her your appearance?" He asked curiously.
"Thereās no need." Arwen shook his head.
"Are you sure?" Li Jian raised his eyebrow as Arwen nodded his head.
"Sheās doing just fine without me." Arwen smiled as he dismissed his disguise.
As the disguise flickered away, it turned out that Arwen is not a he but rather a she. With golden hair and pointed ears, she gently caressed the tablet with a soft smile.
"Iāll be honest, I was surprised when I heard her talk about you. The fact that you actually disguised yourself as a mysterious man rather than your true form. Arenāt you her friendās mother?" Li Jian asked curiously.
"I am indeed and I am also her friend from another life. Though itās not yet time to meet her or my daughter yet. Iāll go meet them properly once the new age starts. Honestly, I thought I was going to have to make an appearance a little sooner but since she was able to deal with Aekari by herself, I can keep my existence a secret for a little longer." She smiled.
