Yoruha's current status is indeed impressive. As a Hokage guard, a renowned doctor at Konoha Hospital, and soon to be the leader of the ANBU, any one of these roles would make him highly sought after among the girls in Konoha. Not to mention, Yoruha is not only accomplished in these roles but is also tall, handsome, and powerful.
In the village of Konoha, even those who are unaware of Yoruha's strength know him as a famous medical ninja, which gives him a high level of recognition and popularity. It's worth noting that Yoruha, along with Sasuke, is considered by many girls in Konoha as an ideal marriage prospect. Of course, Yoruha is oblivious to this and has never bothered to find out.
With his current level of power, he has little interest in romantic relationships. Perhaps this is the price of strength; as Yoruha becomes more powerful, his interest in romance diminishes. However, Kihon Toichi, concerned for his well-being, received a perfunctory response from Yoruha, "Teacher, there's no need to worry. These things can't be rushed. When I find someone suitable, I'll make a move."
Kihon Toichi chuckled, "Are you still in touch with Tanako?" Yoruha paused, recalling the girl with long, straight golden hair, and smiled, "She's no longer a ninja." Tanako Hon has since left the ninja life to take over her family business.
At a young age, she has become the wealthiest person in Konoha. Although she had no talent for being a ninja, she has a remarkable knack for business. In just a few years, she increased the Hon family's assets by a third.
Moreover, since most of her business is outside Konoha, her losses were minimal this time. Now, she's no longer called a little rich girl but an absolute wealthy heiress, and of course, a beautiful one at that. She has many outstanding men pursuing her.
Kihon Toichi sighed, "I once thought you two might end up together." "Tanako is a great and talented girl, just not suited to be a ninja," Yoruha replied with a smile. "She certainly doesn't lack for suitors now."
Kihon Toichi asked, "Actually, she hasn't been involved with any other men. She might be waiting for you." This was Kihon Toichi's belief, as Tanako Hon still harbored feelings for Yoruha. However, Yoruha said, "Give it a few years, and she'll get used to it and forget. It's just a childish infatuation."
Because of his immense strength, Yoruha understands human nature well. Tanako Hon may still like Yoruha now, but such feelings won't last long. The idea of a woman being devoted to a man and staying single for him forever is increasingly unrealistic.
Especially since Tanako Hon comes from a business family, her family wouldn't allow her to remain single waiting for someone. Tanako Hon herself wouldn't do that either, as she is a successful businesswoman.
Precisely because she is successful, in a few years, she will move on and choose a suitable man to marry and have children with. Yoruha never intended to marry; with his current power, he doesn't know when he might leave this world. He doesn't want to leave too many emotional ties in this world, much less get married and have children.
Kihon Toichi was unaware of the real situation and simply thought Yoruha hadn't met the girl he liked yet. So he continued to ask, "What about that girl from the Yamanaka clan? She's always had a thing for you."
Yoruha waved his hand dismissively, "She just likes good-looking guys, that's all." Yoruha wasn't worried about Ino Yamanaka. She genuinely just had a thing for handsome men.
From the original story, it was clear she quickly developed a crush on Sai. Because of this, Yoruha didn't bother to keep his distance from Ino Yamanaka, knowing her feelings could change swiftly.
Kihon Toichi mentioned a few more girls, all from prominent families in the Leaf Village, but Yoruha showed no interest. After spending some time with Kihon Toichi, Yoruha headed to the Anbu for a handover. Just as he reached the entrance, he saw Tsunade leaning against the door, with Shizune standing nervously beside her.
Yoruha approached with a grin, "Hokage-sama, you're here too? Afraid I might get bullied?" Seeing Yoruha's cheeky smile, Tsunade couldn't help but get annoyed and snapped, "Where did you run off to just now?" Yoruha walked up to her and replied, "I went to see Teacher Kihon, had a chat with him. Why, is there something you need, Hokage-sama?"
When Tsunade heard that Yoruha had gone to see Kihon Toichi, her anger subsided. Her stern expression returned to normal as she said calmly, "Let's go in together. Those proud and fierce Anbu members don't know you well, don't let them push you around."
The Anbu is a direct unit under the Hokage. While the ninjas there might not be the strongest, they certainly have more pride than the average ninja. Yoruha didn't refuse. Although the Anbu members posed no threat to him, avoiding trouble was always preferable to dealing with it himself.
Tsunade led Yoruha into the Anbu headquarters. Shizune walked behind them, catching up to Yoruha and cautiously asked, "Why did you run off to see the teacher? I almost couldn't handle it." With Yoruha absent, Shizune had to bear the brunt of Tsunade's anger, which often left her feeling helpless.
Yoruha chuckled, "I'll treat you to dinner when we get back." The previously anxious Shizune smiled, "Alright." She was easy to appease, a meal was all it took.
Of course, it helped that she and Yoruha were colleagues and had worked together for several years, forming a good relationship. Tsunade seemed to ignore the murmuring between the two behind her as she led Yoruha to the Anbu headquarters.
Upon seeing Tsunade and Yoruha, Yamato immediately knew what to do. By the time Tsunade and Yoruha arrived at the headquarters, the meeting hall was already filled with Anbu ninjas. Although some Anbu members didn't think highly of Yoruha, they genuinely respected Tsunade.
As Tsunade entered, all the Anbu ninjas stood up in unison, "Hokage-sama." The scene was quite impactful, reflecting Tsunade's high esteem in the Leaf Village. Even before becoming the Fifth Hokage, her reputation was already formidable. As the granddaughter of the First Hokage, one of the Legendary Sannin, and the foremost medical ninja in the ninja world, Tsunade's prestige in the Leaf Village rivaled that of the Third Hokage.
It's important to note that the Third Hokage's reputation was exceptionally high due to his long tenure and victories in the Second and Third Great Ninja Wars, overseeing both the peak and decline of the Leaf Village. In many ways, his esteem surpassed even the First, Second, and Fourth Hokages. Yet, Tsunade, after only a few years as Hokage, had already matched his level of respect.
