"Tsk, you wouldnât think so. Carving, painting... still a craftsman." Fan Wubing chuckled, "Could it be that someone has no friends and had to study these?"
An An wasnât angry, she pouted, "Itâs not because I donât have any friends."
She opened her big eyes and slowly finished drawing the portrait of Fan Wubing, blew on it to dry the ink, then rolled it up and handed it to Fan Wubing,
"For you."
"Not keeping it for yourself?"
"Why would I?"
"To hang in your Immortal Palace and admire every day."
An An made a little finger gesture and said disdainfully, "Itâs not Sister Jiangâs portrait, why would I keep it to admire?"
While Fan Wubing operated the Supreme Dharma Orbiting Device, exploring the fate trajectory of that once mighty heavenly thunder, he said,
"Wipe your mouth."
An An lifted her hand and wiped her mouth with her sleeve, making it dirtier.
Fan Wubing helplessly said, "Youâre such a kid!" He then walked in front of An An, took out a handkerchief, and was about to wipe the ink off her mouth. As he lifted his hand, he paused abruptly and complained, "Iâm not your dad, why am I taking care of you? Wipe it yourself!"
With that, he threw the handkerchief onto An Anâs face.
An An looked at the handkerchief and then said disdainfully, "Youâre disgusting."
"What are you talking about?" Fan Wubing raised an eyebrow.
An An said, "A grown man using a girlâs handkerchief. So gross."
Fan Wubing looked over and found that the handkerchief he had just thrown was left by ManâEr, embroidered with flowers and birds native to her hometown. Without a word, he stepped forward, snatched it back, and replaced it with another handkerchief he used.
An Anâs eyes lit up immediately, "Hey, whatâs going on, whatâs going on... whose handkerchief is that, whose is it?"
She chirped around Fan Wubing like a sparrow, asking.
"None of your business." Fan Wubing pushed her aside, "Go wipe your mouth."
"Tsk~"
After entering the Chuirizhou Continent, they put away the Dharma Form Dragon and flew through the air.
Fan Wubing proceeded under the guidance of the Supreme Dharma Orbiting Device.
The Supreme Dharma Orbiting Device isnât a compass for finding paths. Its essence lies in exploring traces touched by the side of destiny. No one knows what Destiny Dao is, but according to the ideas of the Yin Yang School, which originated from heavenly law and fate, destiny is the essence of all things, unrestricted by this world but present in all within our cognizance.
Occurrence is destiny, existence is everything.
The Supreme Dharma Orbiting Device, in its probing of destiny, explores existence, or rather, "what once existed." It cannot foresee the future or discern how a person or event will change, but it can find all things still existing.
This is the result of Fan Wubingâs recent research into the Supreme Dharma Orbiting Device and heavenly laws.
It also led him to understand, to some extent, why the Seven Luminaries True Monarch would study the All Things Law Dao.
Because the All Things Law Dao is precisely about foreseeing destiny.
Itâs a judgment and choice of knowing oneâs fate.
But unfortunately, judging by the current level of the All Things Law Dao, the Seven Luminaries True Monarch doesnât seem to have succeeded.
Of course, Fan Wubing thinks it might be related to the incomplete grasp he had of the All Things Law Dao.
With these thoughts circling around, they first arrived at the Fallen Immortal Land of the Chuirizhou Continent.
Since they were there, of course, they couldnât miss it.
Fan Wubing figured they might as well take down the Fallen Immortal Land here.
He intended for An An to wait outside, but seeing her so eager, if he didnât bring her along, sheâd probably sit on the ground drawing circles, exuding a rotten and moldy odor.
The Chuirizhou Continent was much stronger than the Southern Celestial Land, and the defenses of the Fallen Immortal Land were naturally more complete, but far inferior to the Old Dragon Mountain and Qixia Lake in the Immortal Continent.
Fan Wubing had no trouble using the Enchanting Demon Dao to sneak in with An An.
Seeing the people in the Suspended City, who clearly hadnât seen them before, taking their presence for granted, An An was ecstatic,
"How exciting! Is this the perspective of the Charm Demon Lord?"
"Whatâs there to be excited about!"
An An suddenly had a face full of horror, "Fan Wubing, could it be... youâre actually using the Enchanting Demon Dao to enchant me!"
"What are you thinking."
"Otherwise, why donât I dislike you anymore and even find being with you quite fun." An An looked at Fan Wubing suspiciously, "Come on, did you enchant me!"
Fan Wubing, with his mind focused on the Fallen Immortal Land of the Chuirizhou Continent, didnât bother with her nonsense,
"Yes, yes, alright. I used the Enchanting Demon Dao to enchant you. So, what do you plan to do now?"
An Anâs eyes widened, "How could it be... youâve been lying to me..." She lowered her head, somewhat dejected, "Arenât I your best buddy?"
Fan Wubing sighed, "Donât cry, I really donât have the time to coax you."
"I wonât cry." An An pouted.
The two reached the depths of the Fallen Immortal Land.
Fan Wubing then activated the "Furnace of the Heart," letting his soul cover every part of the Obsession Furnace, subsequently communicated with the True Demon Runes swirling in space, and the obsessions in the Sea of Obsession, beginning to shape True Demon laborers.
An An stood by, looking at this magical scene, dumbfounded,
"You... you can actually control True Demons!"
"Is there anything wrong with that?"
"But these are True Demons! True Demons! How could they possibly be controlled by anyone? They should only be subjected to heavenly obsessions!" An An looked at Fan Wubing, her eyes showing some admiration, "How did you do it, teach me, teach me!"
"What do you want to do?"
"If I could control True Demons, I could blanket the entire world in the shadow of my Anger Demon Lord!" An An cackled excitedly, "Completely overturn justice, reverse order! Make everyone bow down!" She was lost in a delightful fantasy.
Fan Wubing disliked it even more, "Donât be like that, youâre scaring me."
"You think itâs scary too!"
"Iâm just allergic to chuunibyou."
"Chuunibyou? Whatâs that?" An An asked curiously.
Fan Wubing raised his hand and replayed her earlier demeanor using his energy, "This is chuunibyou."
Seeing her own cackling self, An An realized something but refused to admit it, blushing somewhat, "I donât understand what youâre talking about."
Fan Wubing said, "Stop dreaming, you canât learn it."
Being able to control True Demons was thanks to the "Furnace of the Heart."
As a non-elemental Divine Technique, it can only be practiced by one person at a time.
Of course, it canât be taught to others.
"Stingy."
An An didnât argue, standing quietly by, watching the Tribulation Immortal-level True Demons like flying fish swimming in the Sea of Obsession, connecting with obsessions.
Fan Wubing glanced at her,
Surprisingly... she was quite obedient.
It took only half a day to completely control this Fallen Immortal Land.
Fan Wubing exhaled deeply, "All done."
An An asked, "Why are you doing all this?" She was starting to become more tactful, "If itâs a secret, just pretend I didnât ask."
"So polite now?" Fan Wubing was surprised.
An An mumbled, "Whoâs to say you arenât my best buddy."
Fan Wubing was embarrassed, "Youâre still thinking about this. Alright, I admit it, youâre my best buddy."
"Really?" An An asked, delighted.
"Really."
An An patted her chest, "Thatâs good, you scared me. I thought you were just trying to make me happy."
Fan Wubing, "..." Itâs just a title, is it that important.
He raised his hand to lay down a restriction to prevent anyone from peeking into the depths of the Fallen Immortal Land.
With the Supreme Dharma Orbiting Device, the restriction he set was much stronger, even if someone like the Little Leisurely Official Celestial Venerable Yu Chen came by, without deliberate investigation, theyâd think this was just a regular Fallen Immortal Land. Any True Demons leaving the restriction were intentionally shaped, meant for fighting with the warriors of the Suspended City on the front line.
An An watched all this, her excitement causing her whole body to tremble, her eyes sparkling, "Youâre so bad!"
"Being praised by you, not happy at all." Fan Wubing waved his hand, "Letâs go."
"Where to next?"
"The main battlefield of the Celestial War, the Meteorite Highlands."
