“Shanshan, my good girl.” The old lady pinched Shanshan’s small rosy face and said to Tong Lu, “You have lived a difficult life, marrying Shuo at such a young age and looking after Shanshan for him. You’re trapped in a marriage with a dead person. Have you considered remarrying?”

Tong Lu said, “… Actually, Shuo stated in his will that I’m not allowed to remarry.”
