"What were you doing in my office?"
Ye Luoâs casual remark frightened the monkey, who trembled, whirled around, and seeing Ye Luo standing before him, his face changed, and then he awkwardly smiled:
"Vice Chief Ye, youâre back. I was just thinking that your office hasnât been cleaned for several days, feared it might not be clean, so I took the liberty of cleaning up while you were away."
"Is that so? Thanks then." Ye Luo glanced at the monkey nonchalantly and walked straight into the office.

Seeing that Ye Luo didnât say anything and just walked into his office, the monkey took a deep breath, his face sweating cold beads, and quickly left the place.
Once inside his office, Ye Luo activated his Clairvoyant Eye, sweeping his gaze around to notice an additional black speck under his desk, resembling some sort of listening device, and the corner of his mouth couldnât help but reveal a cold smirk.
In another office of the security department, Security Chief Hou Dayong stood waiting anxiously. Suddenly, the office door opened, and the monkey slipped in.
"How did it go? Is it done?"
Hou Dayong asked the monkey directly.
"Chief, donât worry, everything is taken care of, but I bumped into Ye Luo just as I was leaving." The monkey reported.
"What? Did he discover anything?" Hou Dayongâs face changed.
Monkey shook his head, "There shouldnât be any issue, I told him Iâd help clean his office. It wonât raise his suspicions."
"Thatâs good, then. All thatâs left is to wait for the right opportunity. Once we get rid of that guy, the vice chiefâs seat is yours," Hou Dayong said to Monkey with a firm gaze.
"Thank you, Minister," Monkey replied, his face bright with joy.
Inside Ye Luoâs office, just as he was engrossed in playing League of Legends, a sudden knock on the door interrupted him.
"Come in!" Ye Luo said without taking his eyes off his computer screen. Following his command, the office door swung open, and Li Wanqin walked in, dressed in professional office lady attire.
"Ah, wife, youâre here!" Ye Luo exclaimed excitedly upon seeing Li Wanqin.
Li Wanqinâs cheeks instantly flushed red, and she rolled her eyes at Ye Luo, saying, "What are you shouting about? This is the office, what if someone hears us?"
Ye Luoâs lips curled into a playful smile as his gaze swept under the desk. He quickly strode over to Li Wanqinâs side, wrapped his arm around her slender waist, and rested his head on her shoulder.
Inhaling the fragrance of her hair, he said blissfully, "This is my office, how could anyone discover us here? Wife, did you miss me so much that you couldnât help but come to see me?"
In Hou Dayongâs office, he was currently wearing a headset, looking very excited as he muttered to himself, "I knew there was something going on."
Hou Dayong then hurriedly took out his phone and dialed a number.
