At this moment, Hei Zi suddenly became somewhat coy, his eyes revealing a hint of shyness.

"Damn, you’re actually blushing? Don’t tell me you’ve fallen in love," Ye Luo said in surprise.

Hei Zi began to speak, "It’s a receptionist from our company, but she didn’t come to work today. I’ll let you meet her some other day."

Ye Luo immediately clicked his tongue and said, "Well, they say a rabbit doesn’t eat the grass by its burrow, but look at you, managing to woo the receptionist. You better not be using office hours for romance."

"How could that be, Boss? Do I look like that kind of person?" Hei Zi retorted.

"That’s exactly what you are."

Hu Zi said with an honest face, landing a zinger that made Ye Luo burst out laughing. Hei Zi was so irritated that he glared at Hu Zi with his big eyes.

"Hu Zi, do you believe I could beat you up?"

"Could you?"

Another sharp quip, and Hei Zi immediately deflated, wearing a look of aggrieved innocence that made Ye Luo laugh heartily.

As Ye Luo burst into laughter, Chen Yaowen, who had returned to his own office, was seething, his face twisted with rage and eyes flickering with cold fury.

"Ye Luo, just you wait. I won’t let this go," Chen Yaowen spat out coldly, clenching his fists and slamming them down hard on the desk.

Although Chen Yaowen had known that Ye Luo was Ling Qingya’s fiancé, he had never seen him as a threat. He believed that Ling Qingya would never fall for a wastrel like him.

But a remark just made by Ye Luo made it clear that he had already been intimate with Ling Qingya, and observing her, he noted with his keen sight some subtle changes in her.

This naturally caused Chen Yaowen’s anger to burn. He had always considered Ling Qingya as his woman, yet now she had been taken by that bastard Ye Luo, which made him want to spit blood in frustration.

Just then, Chen Yaowen’s phone suddenly rang. He picked it up, wanting to smash it, but for some reason, he still answered.

"Who is this?" Chen Yaowen’s voice was icy cold.

After a moment, Chen Yaowen narrowed his eyes, a strange and chilling gleam flashing through them, and said, "Alright, let’s meet and talk."

After hanging up, Chen Yaowen gripped his phone tightly, a sinister and chilling glint blooming in his eyes.

That afternoon, Ye Luo received a call from Luo Jingxuan and immediately left Ling’s corporation to meet with Luo Jingxuan and seek out Li Tiancheng.

Upon arriving at the hotel where Li Tiancheng was staying, Luo Jingxuan approached the reception to inquire about Li Tiancheng’s room.

"I’m sorry, miss, our hotel has special regulations. Unless it’s a government department, we can’t disclose guest privacy," the receptionist told Luo Jingxuan with a detached tone.

"No need to ask, just follow me," Ye Luo said to Luo Jingxuan and headed straight for the elevator.

"You know which room Li Tiancheng is in?" Luo Jingxuan asked Ye Luo, her face full of surprise.

"Of course," Ye Luo replied with a mysterious smile, leading Luo Jingxuan to the hotel’s twenty-fifth floor. As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, two men in suits blocked their way.

"This area has been reserved, outsiders are not allowed to enter," the two men said sternly.

Luo Jingxuan quickly said, "I’m here to discuss a business cooperation with Mr. Li."

"I’m sorry, but President Li does not meet with outsiders."

"It seems I have to do this myself," Ye Luo said, his hands striking out like lightning, and the two men collapsed limply to the ground.

"Are they okay?" Luo Jingxuan’s complexion changed as she spoke.

"Don’t worry, they’ve just fainted. Follow behind me."

Ye Luo went straight towards a room inside this floor; along the way, he encountered many of Li Tiancheng’s bodyguards, but without exception, they were all knocked down by Ye Luo, who nobody could stop.

"Who goes there? Halt!"

Just as Ye Luo was nearing the room where Li Tiancheng was located, his bodyguards finally reacted. Two men with fierce momentum drew their guns at Ye Luo and Luo Jingxuan before Ye Luo could knock them out.

Decisively, the door of the room opened, and several bodyguards rushed out, drawing their guns at Ye Luo.

"Who are you?" Li Haoming stepped out, his gaze fixed on Ye Luo and asked.

"We just wanted to see President Li, but unfortunately, these people are blocking the way," Ye Luo said simply.

"My father is meeting with someone else; it’s inconvenient to meet with outsiders. Please leave," Li Haoming said indifferently.

"It seems I have no choice but to take action." With a wave of Ye Luo’s hand, a flurry of Silver Needles shot out.

In an instant, the group of gun-wielding bodyguards all collapsed to the ground in unison, while Li Haoming’s expression changed dramatically, his gaze filled with shock as he looked at Ye Luo.

"You..."

"Rest assured, I haven’t killed them. Take us to see your father," Ye Luo said slowly as he approached Li Haoming.

Narrowing his eyes slightly, Li Haoming glanced at Ye Luo and Luo Jingxuan before turning around and leading the two inside.

"Big brother, what happened outside?"

A familiar voice echoed in the room, and then Ye Luo saw Li Guangyuan.

"It’s you!"

Upon seeing Ye Luo, Li Guangyuan’s face immediately darkened, and anger flickered in his eyes.

"How dare you come here? Today I’ll settle our past dispute. Guards, seize this man," he ordered furiously.

At Li Guangyuan’s roar, several bodyguards surrounded Ye Luo in the room.

"What on earth is going on?" The beautiful young woman beside Li Tiancheng came over with a puzzled look.

"Second brother, don’t be rash," Li Haoming immediately said.

"Big brother, don’t stop me. This guy is my enemy. Today I must deal with him properly," Li Guangyuan said angrily.

"What is all this about?" A deep voice suddenly sounded as the inner chamber door opened.

Li Tiancheng walked out slowly, his eyes sweeping over the room, with Fang Rushan beside him; Rushan narrowed his eyes upon seeing Ye Luo, his pupils flashing with a strange light.

"What are you all doing?" Li Tiancheng approached, his gaze fixed on Ye Luo and Luo Jingxuan: "Who are you two?"

"You must be President Li. I am the president of a cosmetics company; we plan to launch several products soon and would like to collaborate with Li Corporation. I hope President Li can give me this opportunity," Jingxuan said, extending her hand.

However, Li Tiancheng did not take Jingxuan’s hand but frowned slightly, "I’m sorry, I don’t do business with companies I don’t know. Please leave."
