The next day, in the early morning, the rising sun shone through the windows into Ye Luo’s room.

The room was a mess, and the faint scent of hormones still lingered in the air as Yan Ling and Ye Luo slept in each other’s embrace.

The sunlight hit his face, and Ye Luo’s eyes slowly opened. Looking at Yan Ling in his arms, a faint smile appeared on his lips.

A hand gently caressed Yan Ling’s smooth shoulder, and as her eyes opened, she looked at Ye Luo and said, "Haven’t you touched enough last night?"

"Of course not, I can never get enough." Ye Luo said with a wicked smile.

"You’re never serious." Yan Ling gave Ye Luo a coquettish look and got up, revealing her flawless body, which made a surge of lust rise within Ye Luo.

"I don’t have the energy to deal with you now." Yan Ling said to Ye Luo, got dressed, and walked out.

No sooner had Yan Ling left the room than she saw Luo Jingxuan. The two women locked eyes, and while the latter looked somewhat embarrassed, Yan Ling’s face was calm as water, betraying no emotion.

"Jingxuan, how was your sleep last night?"

Yan Ling walked up to Luo Jingxuan, teasing her.

Luo Jingxuan’s face turned red, and she said in a low voice, "Sister Yan, you and him..."

Luo Jingxuan didn’t know what to say.

"It can’t be helped, your nephew’s needs are great. Besides, we are all adults here. Don’t be so shy. I think it’s time for you to find a boyfriend to comfort that perfect body of yours so you don’t end up frustrated," Yan Ling said with a teasing smile to Luo Jingxuan.

"Sister Yan, Jingxuan, what are you talking about? Let’s get ready for breakfast."

At that moment, Lin Xiaoyan came out of the kitchen and spoke to the two women.

"Wei Wei is the sweetest. You’re not getting any younger. Don’t you want to find a boyfriend?" Yan Ling said casually.

"That, Wei Wei is still young, I haven’t thought about that yet." Lin Xiaoyan’s face turned pink.

"You’re twenty-one, not young anymore. You wouldn’t happen to have a crush on your Ye big brother, would you?"

Yan Ling’s comment caused Ye Luo, who had just walked out of the room, to pause and give Lin Xiaoyan a strange look. Her face turned bright red and she quickly ran back into the kitchen, eliciting a round of girlish laughter from Yan Ling, who gave Ye Luo a meaningful glance.

Luo Jingxuan received a phone call during breakfast, and said to Ye Luo, "Mr. Li from Li Corporation just called. He said he wants to come to Mei Yue Company and meet you."

Ye Luo’s lips curled into a playful smile. "Let’s prepare the contract."

"Is Mr. Li coming to sign a contract?" Luo Jingxuan asked, surprised.

Ye Luo just smiled and did not elaborate.

In Zhonghai, within a secretive residence, the figure of Tian Zhong appeared, looking somewhat disheveled. Then, a knock on the door sounded.

"Who is it?" Tian Zhong’s expression became tense, and he pulled out a handgun, warily staring at the door.

"Kato Taka!"

A voice in Japanese could be heard outside the room, and with that, Tian Zhong’s expression relaxed, and he opened the door. A bald man with a sinister face, a hooked nose, and dressed in black appeared before them.

He wore a pair of black gloves on his hands and emitted a cold and chilling aura. Behind him stood more than a dozen similarly dressed men, each with a subdued presence that still managed to convey an extremely dangerous atmosphere.

"Captain Kato, you have arrived!"

Tian Zhong greeted the bald man, and then the group walked in.

"Mr. Tian Zhong, what’s the situation now?" the bald man, named Kato Taka, asked with a cold gaze fixed on Tian Zhong.

"Sigh!" Tian Zhong sighed, "Our base has been completely taken over by the Special Security Bureau; all data and materials have fallen into their hands, Han Youwei has been captured, and all the ninja elites from the Morita Family and Tagawa Family have been killed. This includes the forty Genetically Modified People we successfully developed—all gone."

"Since you have been so courteous, Mr. Li, I will make sure to cure that kidney of yours," Ye Luo said.

Li Tiancheng’s expression changed slightly, "Mr. Ye, I wonder if you could hand over the orb to me. You can name your terms. That orb is indeed very important to me."

Ye Luo revealed a meaningful smile, his eyes briefly scanning the two short-haired, black-clad women, "I’m curious, Mr. Li, since you hold that orb in such high regard, what exactly is it?"

"I’m really unable to disclose that," Li Tiancheng replied, his eyes flickering.

One of the women in black coldly said to Ye Luo, "The orb you want is of no use to you. Instead, it will bring about your demise."

"Really? I’m very curious about how an orb could bring me such a fatal threat. Perhaps you could reveal what it really is. Then I might lose interest in it, and would be willing to hand it over to you," Ye Luo said, with a playful smile at the corner of his mouth.
