“You’re awake?”

Meng Qing sat up and heard the Ice Spirit’s voice, but she couldn’t see the Ice Spirit, just a ray of white light.

“Master, is that you?” asked Meng Qing. Even though her question was stupid, she had to make sure.

“Of course it’s me; who else could it be?” asked the Ice Spirit patiently. She was getting more and more interested in Meng Qing. She really hoped Meng Qing would become her Ice General. If she refused, the Ice Spirit wouldn’t stop asking her!

“Thank you for saving me, Master,” said Meng Qing, smiling at the ray of light.

The Ice Spirit shook her head and said indifferently, “No need to thank me, I didn’t save you. You could have woken up much earlier. Anyway, since you’re awake, why are you not asking to see Lin Feng?” asked the Ice Spirit skeptically.

When Meng Qing heard that, she remained silent. She had indeed broken free from the poison a long time before ,but she hadn’t had the courage to wake up because she was afraid to face Lin Feng. She didn’t want to be a burden to him.

When the Ice Spirit saw Meng Qing didn’t reply, she was amused, knowing what the little girl was thinking. She had pretended to be in a coma to avoid causing trouble for Lin Feng, so as not to be a burden. What a wonderful wife! No wonder Lin Feng loved her more than anything.

As expected, Meng Qing was completely different from all the other women. Lin Feng had described the situation accurately. Meng Qing and Lin Feng really cared for each other, they were both honest, and they were extremely close. Their love for each other was unconditional.

“You won’t be able to help Lin Feng with that kind of strength. If you agree to become an Ice General, I can guarantee that you will catch up with Lin Feng within six months. What do you think?” asked the Ice Spirit. She wasn’t too confident, but she did her best.

However, she had guessed what Meng Qing was thinking.

Meng Qing was definitely interested. She naturally wanted to help Lin Feng, so she knew there couldn’t be a big level difference between them, or it would be a bad experience for both of them.

Being an Ice General for the Ice Spirit would be a great honor for the members of the Snow Clan. Anyone would accept!

“Alright, Master, I accept,” Meng Qing nodded. Her eyes were filled with hope.

When the Ice Spirit heard Meng Qing, she smiled, but nobody could see it. “Alright, I’ll call Lin Feng then!” the Ice Spirit nodded. She disappeared from the room.

Lin Feng had already felt Meng Qing was awake and was ready to go into the room when he saw a white ray of light floating in front of him before entering the ice pearl.

“She’s awake. Go in,” said the Ice Spirit calmly, before vanishing.

When Lin Feng heard that, he didn’t think of the Ice Spirit anymore. He rushed into the room with Lin Zu in his arms. When Liu Fei saw that, she smiled, but didn’t go in.

Yue Meng He and Qing Feng came out. They saw Liu Fei standing there alone, and felt concerned for her. “You’re so weak and you came out like this? Hurry up and go back in.”

“Mom, Sister Meng Qing is awake,” Liu Fei told them, shaking her head and smiling.

Yue Meng He lit up. She looked at the room and asked, “Lin Feng is in there?”

“Yes, that’s why I’m waiting outside,” said Liu Fei smiling patiently and lowering her eyes.

“Silly girl! No need to wait here even if Meng Qing is awake. Qing Feng, bring Liu Fei in,” Yue Meng He instructed Qing Feng. Qing Feng grabbed Liu Fei’s hand and brought her back to the house.

Yue Meng He and Qing Feng brought Liu Fei to a corridor inside the house. They looked at the door of the last house for a while, but didn’t disturb them.

“Let them chat. Let’s go to the kitchen and cook. Sister Meng Qing has just woken up so she must feel weak,” suggested Qing Feng gently. She wasn’t as tough and fierce as normal, sounding much gentler. It was all thanks to Yue Meng He. She was extremely strong-willed, and all of Lin Feng’s wives were influenced by her.

“Yes, thank you for your hard word, Qing Feng,” agreed Yue Meng He, and they all went to the kitchen.

In Meng Qing’s room, Lin Feng was holding Lin Zu in his arms and looking at Meng Qing, who had gotten to her feet already. It wasn’t a dream!

Meng Qing looked at Lin Feng, her smile pure and sweet. “Husband, that’s Liu Fei’s baby?” asked Meng Qing. She didn’t know what to say. The baby looked like much Lin Feng.

Lin Feng smiled and nodded, “Yes, his name is Lin Zu.”

“Lin Zu. Oh, I see. Very good name. You have a daughter too, right?” asked Meng Qing.

“You know? The Ice Spirit already told you?” Lin Feng was surprised.

“Yes, she did. I’m very happy Sister Liu Fei finally has a child. You have to treat her well from now on,” stated Meng Qing solemnly. Lin Feng didn’t mind. He enjoyed listening to her.

“Of course! Liu Fei has been supporting me for so many years. She’s also been taking care of my parents. I would never do anything to make her feel sad,” Lin Feng smiled. He stepped closer to her and took her in his arms. The atmosphere became awkward.

“Alright, alright. We’re old now. We’ve been together for so long. Children are more important now,” Meng Qing said when she understood Lin Feng wanted to have sex, smiling in amusement.

Lin Feng sighed and asked, “How do you feel? You just woke up. Don’t you feel sick? If there’s anything, tell me quickly,” Lin Feng urged, worried about her well-being.

Meng Qing was touched, but she just shook her head, “I feel good and healthy.”

“Alright then,” Lin Feng smiled. The atmosphere became silent. Lin Feng didn’t know how to tell Meng Qing about the Ice Spirit’s condition.

Meng Qing also remained silent. She had agreed to become the Ice Spirit’s Ice General without Lin Feng’s authorization. He might get angry.

“Hm…” “Husband, I…” They both spoke at the same time, looked at each other, and laughed. The atmosphere became much warmer again.

“You go first,” Lin Feng grinned.

Meng Qing said straightforwardly, “I accepted Master Ice Spirit’s request!”

“You agreed to become an Ice General?” confirmed Lin Feng.

“You don’t want me to? Husband?” asked Meng Qing nervously. She was really afraid Lin Feng would say no.

Lin Feng shook his head and smiled, “No, it’s a good thing. I wanted to accept for you, but then I thought it’d be better if she asked you directly, and not me. I’m happy for you.”

“That’s what I thought!” breathed Meng Qing, relieved.

“Come, let’s go see your sisters. Yi Ren Lei is here too now, by the way,” Lin Feng informed her.

Meng Qing wasn’t surprised; she knew Yi Ren Lei. She knew that if Lin Feng and Yi Ren Lei ever bumped into each other again, it would be inevitable, and so it had happened.

Meng Qing took Lin Zu and looked at him as if the child were her own. Lin Feng put his hand around her waist and they walked out of the room.

The whole family would gather again. This time, Yi Ren Lei and Qing Feng were there as well, as were two new people, Lin Zu and Lin Si Tian! Only Huo Wu and Huang Nü didn’t have children yet!
