Joy came over Venus’ countenance, and he said, “Not bad! It just so happens to be Father’s birthday in another two years. I was just feeling troubled over the lack of a suitable gift, but all’s fine now that there’s the crystal marrow. Father will definitely like it!”

The captain went along with the flow and quickly said in flattery, “Congratulations, my lord!”

“Hahaha! It’s worth congratulating, indeed!”

Venus then gave a grand wave and declared, “All of you deserve credit for finding the Divinity Crystal mine and discovering the crystal marrows this time. Everyone shall be rewarded!”

“Thank you, my lord!”

The captain was overjoyed.

“Yeah!”

Venus then nodded slightly and said, “Start working on it right away. I can’t wait to see the crystal marrows!”

“Yes, my lord!” Then, the captain shouted, “Men, get down to work and begin the mining process at once!”

“Yes, sir!”

Following his order, miners immediately entered the valley and got down to mining. Venus broke into a slight frown as he observed the number of miners. He asked, “When will you be able to extract the crystal marrows when there are only so few miners?”

The captain bowed and replied, “The crystal marrows are estimated to be extracted in two months’ time, my lord.”

“Two months? That’s too slow.”

Venus shook his head and ordered, “Recruit miners immediately. I want to see the crystal marrows in three days’ time. Remember, I want to see them in three days’ time. I won’t accept even an hour of tardiness.”

“Yes, my lord!”

Beads of perspiration formed on the captain’s forehead at once. It was practically a project from hell, having to complete two months’ worth of work in three days. Even the captain wanted to flip the table and quit...
