Chapter 688: Entering The Planet Killer Dungeon

“So, how was it?” Kent asked Yi Lai the moment she got back to the Tower with her team. In the end, the battle was quick and decisive, and the plans she had for Veera were also scrapped.

The bodies they dropped were just too weak to be worthy of being called undead under someone like Veera’s command. It just doesn’t sound or feel right.

However, there is a silver lining to it, and that is the souls she harvested. Those would soon enable her to summon a more powerful undead.

“It went well…I managed to get my affairs in order.” Yi Lai smiled, “I can now get down to business.”

Kent nodded and smiled…”Good to hear that Yi Lai, because as it turns out, I have a bigger mission for you all…and I am afraid, this will take years to complete.”

The moment the words left Kent’s mouth, Kaizo moved closer with a broad smile playing on his face. Hearing that there was a mission made him feel like a child waiting for Santa at the mall.

‘I guess that is how he is…always happy for the next battle,’ Kent mused and then turned to face everyone.

“This new mission will take some time to complete…but that is just the simplest aspect of it. When it comes down to how hard it will be, let me tell you, things will be much more chaotic.

The place you will be fighting is a dungeon, but unlike the ones you have entered and cleared, this one is different. It is unique if you may, and while the highest level you ever went was 17, this one contains 37 levels.

It also has more harrowing dangers than the previous ones. I am yet to understand the extent to which this dungeon goes, but I know that the weakest being your will finger in the dungeon is at the peak of the core formations stage.

This means the chances of facing a spirit Ascension or a spirit king at just the first level are already this harrowing. However, I have hopes that you will manage somehow,” Kent smiles, watching the faces of his legion.

They all seem pumped for battle…but they had no idea the kind of danger they would find themselves in. But they aren’t normal beings, and per the quest message, many rewards are waiting for not only him, but his wives and legion.

So he knew that after the suffering, they would reap the benefits too.

“I have a question, master…” Sylara spoke, and Kent gestured for her to talk.

“Are the beasts or creatures inside the dungeon real. I know the ones inside the other dungeons are made of spiritual Qi, so would these too be the same?”

Sylara is asking not because she wants the well-being of her friends and teammates…she was asking for herself. The blood from the beasts that were killed in the dungeons she had explored was not genuine.

Drinking it makes her stomach ick, so she wanted to know more about the nature of the next dungeon, and if it is to her satisfaction, she wouldn’t hesitate to go all out.

Also, aside from her quest to fill her stomach with real blood, she is also concerned about her bloodline. To date, she still hadn’t told anyone what her bloodline is…but she was bound to do so soon.

“Everything inside the dungeon is real, and unlike the dungeons you had already cleared, this one has no respawn feature. It means there is only one life for you all…” Kent paused and looked at Kaizo and his other undead…

“Some of you at least.” His undead can’t die, regardless of how many times they’ve been killed. The only downside is that he will need twice as many resources used in creating them to revive them.

But they can’t die…

“I will clear the first level with you all before I leave. After the first floor, I will get a good read on things. After which you and my ladies can proceed from there.” They all nodded.

“Alright, get your affairs in order…those of you who have friends in the cities, you can go tell them you will be away for a while.”

They nodded and left. Kent knew they could easily come into the tower to relax, but that would be for a few days…and since time passes differently on the outside, a week for them inside the dungeon is several months inside the tower, so they better say their goodbyes for now.

His ladies are already doing that, and he did the same with Li Hua and the Cosmic Lolis. Of course, he promised to come see them regularly, even when he is away on the other continents, since he still has a lot to do, aside from finding ways to reach the Pill Princess.

For now, he knew things would become much more chaotic the moment he left the tower. The Hand had already made their move, and he would have to do his too.

He wanted to start with the Primal Bone Tempering Art before going out there, but now it seems he had to get things done with his current strength.

‘Who am I kidding, with what my bloodline can do…these people won’t know what hit them.’ Just like that, Kent knew he would soon be having a wild ride.

But first, he needed to take his wives and the legion to the dungeon. He had already said his goodbyes to Elaine’s parents and Velyra’s father, so he will be off and away for a while.

It took a couple of hours, but everyone managed to get their affairs in order. Kent brought them all to the mountain garden for one final info…

“There will be beings far stronger than you in the dungeon. However, while that should discourage you…Use it as the catalyst to temper your combat skills and learn how to handle those several realms above you.

Because trust me, as long as you all are connected to me, the dangers that will come will be much more dangerous than you think.”

They smiled.

“That said, I expect you all to make great strides before we ascend to a high world.” The nodded, and Kent activated the dungeon transporter, disappearing from sight
