The ancient buildings clustered there, majestic and overwhelming, with ancient grand arrays rising from the ground, operating slowly, resonating with each other.
It is clear that where those terrifying grand arrays operate is the station of each vast sect. The size of even one random site is not inferior to the sect of Divine Sword, and might be several times larger.
Most shocking of all is at the end of the sea-like âHundred Sectsâ station, a huge curtain of light descends as if from the nine heavens above, dividing the world into two.
The curtain of light, like an invisible wall as high as the sky, has ancient halos swirling on it, with eternal runes faintly visible, exuding a power that can be said to be divine, as the aura inside the light curtain is incredibly astounding.
The enormous light curtain gives an illusion of reaching the worldâs end, as if there is no road ahead.
Yet everyone knows that the light curtain is an ancient restriction that has been there since unknown times, and beyond that restriction is the true âHundred Sects Battle Domainâ, a place preserving myriad ancient ruins left from endless ancient years.
And that restriction prevents anything with power above the âSelf-Slaying Realmâ from entering; anything attempting to surpass this power would instantly be obliterated.
This restriction seems not to protect the ancient ruins inside but intentionally leaves an astounding divine opportunity for each generationâs promising youths.
"Are we going to fight the Demon Sect people behind that light curtain in the future?"
Some promising youth canât help but be dazed. Even they, upon seeing the curtain exuding terrifying pressure, are greatly shaken within.
However, as soon as the previous statement is made, someone immediately responds.
"Behind that curtain is the âHundred Sects Battle Domainâ, but cultivators from the Hundred Broken Mountain Range donât call it âlight curtainâ, they call itâCelestial Curtain."
"Celestial Curtain?"
"Yes, to be precise, it is not just a light curtain; it is an extremely ancient restriction, existing since who knows when, maybe a million years ago, maybe ten million. No one knows when it began."
"Itâs said that a strong person exceeding the Saint Realm once tried to fly over that Celestial Curtain but eventually exhausted their strength without seeing its top. This restriction seems higher than the skies, impossible for anyone to truly overcome."
Upon these words, many nod in agreement, feeling that calling it the Celestial Curtain seems more fitting.
On an ancient warship of the Divine Sword Sect.
Ye Xiaofan and Nangong Jianchen also gaze at that endless curtain of light, their eyes full of bewilderment and surprise.
"Ye, do you think this Celestial Curtain is naturally formed or made by people?" Nangong Jianchen asks, gazing at the curtain immersed in the clouds, eyes full of amazement.
Hearing this, Ye Xiaofanâs eyes remain astonished, yet he firmly replies, "Since itâs a restriction, it must be man-made. Itâs just difficult to fathom what kind of entity could establish such a world-defying restriction."
"It must be an unparalleled being we havenât encountered," Nangong Jianchen mutters, feeling endless waves within, a strange illusion suddenly arises in his heart.
This stunning restriction seems to have a terrifying incomprehensible supreme existence deliberately preparing it for generations of promising youths.
Of course, both are merely marveling and not truly seeking the ancient restrictionâs origin.
For them now, all this isnât important nor something they can explore. What they must do is find a way to survive inside and grow stronger.
Boom!
Soon.
The ancient warship of Divine Sword Sect slowly enters the vast region in front of the light curtain.
Surprisingly, these ancient warships seem to have a mind of their own, each descending slowly along a predetermined route.
"Everyone look! Thatâs our Divine Sword Sectâs station in the âHundred Sects Battle Domainâ."
At some moment, an elder disciple of Divine Sword Sect exclaims.
They see the direction hundreds of ancient Divine Sword Sect warships are flying towards, where a ten-thousand-foot ancient sword pierces the sky, towering into the clouds.
Below that ten-thousand-foot ancient sword are vast ancient buildings, with terrifying grand arrays covering the region, sword intent soaring to the skies.
As hundreds of ancient Divine Sword Sect warships slowly land, Ye Xiaofan and others can all see there in a station far greater than the Divine Sword Sectâs gate, stand hundreds of elderly figures silently.
Behind those figures, young figures are also standing.
The aura from those elderly figures is naturally tremendous, to the point where heaven and earth lose color.
Ye Xiaofan and others are surprised that even the young figures standing behind those elders have an aura equally terrifying, chilling, and theyâre all silently standing in the void behind those elders.
These young figures are evidently former Divine Sword Sect new disciples, masters and seniors of all the gathered Divine Sword Sect promising youths now.
But now they have truly grown, walking through the air like blades thirsting for blood, shaking the heavens and ghosts alike.
Especially the murderous aura they have, which Ye Xiaofan and these disciples donât possess, only those whoâve truly experienced life and death combat possess such an aura, born from crawling out of stacks of corpses and seas of blood.
