She paused before continuing, “Their current request is that the Wang family pardon those remaining clan members who weren’t implicated.”

“Immortal Gu is joking.” Wang Shouzhe laughed softly, “Although our Wang family has some grievances with the Huangfu Clan, we will abide by whatever the City Guard Mansion decides. It’s not our place to discuss whether to pardon anyone.”
