“Godfather… You’ve had too much to drink,” the butler came up to advise Rick with a fluent British accent.

“Get lost…” Rick gave an icy look.

“You sure are more ruthless compared to before…” Qin Chu exclaimed. He had recalled Rick killing those gangsters without even blinking an eye.

“If I wasn’t ruthless, I wouldn’t be able to sit here today. Then the kingdom my brother and father fought for would be conquered by someone else…”

“I understand.” Qin Chu nodded.

“Qin Chu, let me ask you. If you were me, would you give up Huo Mian to protect your family’s legacy?”

Before Qin Chu could respond, Rick smiled and said, “You won’t. Huo Mian’s your everything. She’s more important than your own life. You don’t care about your family, business, or legacy… For you, Huo Mian’s enough, right?”

“Yes, you’re right,” Qin Chu responded clearly.
