Zafira turned to the side where a particular pop-up hovered.

Zafira chuckled and tried to reply to the being.

You’re Anubis, right? I think I’m fine, but is Rael with you? How’s he doing?

[Urgh…] Anubis groaned. [Just because you got my blessing doesn’t mean we’re going to get along, human… and Rael is fine.]

Zafira shrugged. I see. Well, talk to you later, I guess. I need to deal with an enemy first.

With that, she brought her gaze back onto the man that had attacked her.

He seemed a bit surprised at what had just happened. Before he snapped back to reality, Zafira decided to test out one of her newly acquired skills.

Of the two skills, she liked Solar Eclipse the most, so she activated it without hesitation. Thankfully, it didn’t require mana. It just had a very long cooldown.

And in the very next instant, the sun above their heads turned pitch black, only a few rays shining through. Surprisingly, they were all directed toward Zafira, and only Zafira.

2. The Solar Eclipse Domain becomes an extension of your mind realm. You may alter its shape, rules, and even the laws however you please.

3. All enemies inside the Domain have their mana costs increased by 1,000%

4. Solar Singularity: Collapse the domain onto all enemies. If more than 1 enemy, split damage equally. Base damage: 250B Solar Damage + 5,000% INT.

Duration: 60s

Cooldown: 90d

This skill was even better than her transformation skill. But, since the two skills were now being used at the same time, she was practically unstoppable.

Zafira took a deep breath and focused on the man. Then, with a simple thought, she bound his legs with purple tentacles.

He broke away pretty easily and proceeded to appear before her in an instant. But once he swung down his scythe, a familiar sound rang out.

—CLANG

His scythe stopped at her neck, and it didn’t even manage to draw blood.

The man’s brows furrowed as he tried again and again. But no matter what he did, he couldn’t damage her in the slightest.

“Now that’s a pretty big difference, isn’t it?” Zafira remarked with a giggle. “Say… what message are you supposed to deliver to my husband?”

The man scoffed. “The message loses its meaning if I tell anyone but Rael Sutekh.”

With those words, the man attacked again, just this time, he infused his attack with a pale white light. At the same time, a giant avatar appeared behind the man as it mimicked his movements.

Soon, both the man’s scythe and the avatar’s reached her neck.

A small trickle of blood traveled down her neck, but in the very same moment, it healed.

And all she had to do was imagine the sun’s rays being concentrated on her.

The outcome?

It felt pretty satisfying, but not as satisfying as this…

She once again imagined the man being chained, just this time, the chains were much more reinforced than last time.

He tried to struggle and break free. Yet despite his immense strength, in front of her god-like skills, the only thing he could do was squirm.

She approached her broken sword and focused on it. Soon, it repaired itself.

Zafira picked it up, walked over to the man, and placed it on his neck.

“Speak,” she said coldly. “If you do, I promise to let you go.”

“Pfft…” The man held back a laugh. “You know, I also have a lie detection skill. But I don’t fear death as the others will simply take revenge for me.”

The others…? She raised a brow. “I see… I guess I’ll have to take another approach then…”

With that, she summoned four miniature purple daggers, then thrust them into the man’s chest.

They didn’t deal damage, but ensured a certain problem wouldn’t arise.

She didn’t hesitate and lopped off his arms, then legs with her enhanced sword. After she was finished and realized the domain skill was about to end, she focused what remained of it and created a glowing golden glass cage, storing the chopped up man inside.

Finally, the skill ended.

Zafira hummed in satisfaction as she stared at the incapacitated man in the glass cage. A few moments later, Linlin and Evelyn approached.

“That was some neat skill, and wow… black hair really suits you,” Linlin said, whistling.

“Agreed.” Evelyn nodded with a smile, then glanced at the man. “And who’s he?”

“Just someone I’ll be handing over to Rael,” Zafira said plainly. “He seems to know something…”

She trailed off, noticing one thing in particular.

The Solar Eclipse skill had ended, but…
