Chapter 660: Instant Massacre
The demon finally landed, and although he was barely conscious, Rael was glad he was still alive.
So with that in mind, he walked over to the demon, grabbed him by the horn, and dragged him over to the others.
For a moment, there was only silence until Rael finally broke it.
âI know the four of us mightâve gotten off on the wrong foot, but I donât get where this animosity is coming from. Youâre acting like I wasted a lot of your time. Arenât you people close to immortal?â
The Grade 7 demon scoffed.
âTime is time. We donât want to waste it, and it could be better spent training. We couldnât train since the demon king was right in front of us.â
That was fair.
Then againâŠ
âIt sounds like a you problem. So from this moment on, forget the time wasting and letâs get along.â
Naturally, Raelâs words irritated every single demon here, and probably those watching from far away.
Because the Grade 7 sure was pissed.
But he didnât express it.
Instead, he boiled it down and flashed his killing intent at Rael.
Of course, since Rael wasnât bothered at all, he simply brushed away his killing intent and began making some plans.
Even if these idiots didnât listen, he told them about a few formations they could take in the worst case scenarios.
Every single formation was bait though.
Their only purpose was to make Rael survive while the others would get killed.
It was a little scummy, but he wouldnât lose his sleep over it.
Regardless of that, for the next couple of minutes, he talked and talked, and eventually, they were ready to fight.
Even the one who had his balls blasted out by Rael regenerated. He was even much quieter than before.
And so, with them ready, they left the miniature castle and headed outward.
They werenât in the same open field as before. Instead, it was a large forest.
Though not large enough, since Rael could sense every single demon here, and clearly, with how two teams were headed straight for him, he knew they had spotted him too.
Rael signaled with his hand for the others to get ready.
A second, two seconds⊠right as five seconds had passed, eight demons appeared through the clearing.
Every single one of them was powerful, and Rael could obviously not take them lightly.
He was just a little sad that Lilithâs siblings werenât among these people.
Nonetheless, with all of them speeding toward Rael and his group, he felt a rush of adrenaline.
But he had no intention of letting these people have a normal fight.
He was here to make a point.
And a point he was going to make.
<23 Laws Detected.>
<The strength of your Laws has been increased by: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000% [10 Septillion %]>
He was unstoppable when there were a lot of people around.
After all, the strength of his Laws was just insane.
And so, as the demons got closer and closer, Rael simply snapped his fingers once, turning two of the Grade 7s into dust in an instant.
His stats immediately increased by a large chunk, but he didnât even bat an eye as he turned toward the Grade 6s.
They didnât even realize what had happened.
But he didnât really do anything special.
All Rael did was use the Law of Decay, which decomposed everything, and merge it with the Law of Space and the Law of Time to make the process more gruesome and fast.
As for the others, he went with a more simple route.
Law of Water.
But with its advanced form, it became the Law of Blood.
And since that was the case, all it took was a single gaze for Rael to control the blood of the remaining six demons.
They couldnât move a muscle.
But they did try to.
Their mana was all over the place, and the majority was gathered all around Rael, trying to cancel out whatever he was doing.
Though it was impossible.
Rael progressively tightened his grip over the demons, and when he was just on the verge of killing them, he stopped.
If he were to kill these demons here, then he could proceed to the next match.
But if he didnât, he could stall and kill Lilithâs siblings.
Having decided that, Rael proceeded to simply break the bones of the demons, and just as he was about to dash toward the other teams in the distance, he stopped.
<Lilith Sutekh: You donât need to do that. Just compete in the ceremony as you would.>
ââŠ?â
<Rael Sutekh: You donât want them dead?>
<Lilith Sutekh: I want them dead, but I donât want you going out of your way and putting yourself in danger. I understand that youâre powerful⊠but they are powerful too. For my sake, wait until later, because Iâm sure youâll have a chance to cross paths again.>
Seeing her reasoning, Rael couldnât help but sigh.
Inwardly, he wanted to just get rid of them, but her words held some weight.
Her siblings were Grade 8, and killing them was like a coin flip.
With his current strength, Raelâs confidence was at an all time high.
But what if they could defeat him before then?
He was still sure he could deal with them, but he wanted to respect Lilithâs wishes as well.
After all, he wasnât doing this for himself.
Therefore, after just a few moments, he turned back to the demons he had frozen, and ultimately, he snapped his fingers, causing every single one of those demons to burst like balloons, dying instantly without even being able to put up a fight.
ââŠâ
He stared at the puddles of blood before finally turning to his teammates.
They were as shocked as the other demons were.
But regardless of that, he gestured with his chin to get a move on, and they soon gathered the red and green flags from the ground.
Just like that, only three teams were left, and the match was finished.
Yet not a single cheer rang out from the crowd far away.
At this point, Raelâs overwhelming show of power was becoming too ominous.
Just what was the limit of his strength?
Rael hummed to himself in satisfaction and glanced up at Johan who was just slightly above the clouds.
When Johan noticed that, he let out a sigh and spoke.
âSince the second match ended very swiftly⊠if no one has any objections, we will begin the third match right away.â
