CapĂtulo 860: Group Chat
âIs something wrong?â Nyx asked.
Rael still couldnât believe what he was seeing, so he just shook his head and clicked on the interface.
In the next instant, the chatroom appeared, but it was strangely empty.
He waited a few seconds, and he thought it was just a placebo.
But to his surpriseâŠ
Rael felt like tearing up, realizing that the three of them had actually entered the tower. But⊠even Gaia? Wouldnât that mean that if Lucien found a way to leave this tower, their world would be vulnerable?
But he also knew that blaming her now would just be a pain in the ass, since he knew that she was smart enough to realize what she should and shouldnât do.
AnyhowâŠ
Rael pouted.
Hmm.
It seems like Zafira and Lilith had a talk, since Rael didnât remember her being so naughty. Well, whatever the case may be, he was not only relieved but also extremely happy that they managed to enter the tower.
Raelâs brow twitched at her words.
Instead of Lilith, though, Zafira chimed in:
ââŠâ
Are they fucking with me?
Rael couldnât tell.
Honestly.
Even if he didnât have a grudge against Solenne, he didnât even see her as a woman. She was as flat as a board, and her personality was that of a hyena.
Why would Uriel even want to get near her?
ShitâŠ
This was his fault.
Raelâs bad parenting had made his son into some kind of womanizer who targets flat-chested women.
Not that anything was wrong with flat chests, of course. Rael just kind of preferred his son to be a better judge of women in general.
Nonetheless, as much as he wanted to just ignore that, all he could do was inwardly cry.
Frankly, Rael felt like he wanted to snowball the three of them up to the 100th floor. After all, the last thing he wanted was for them to not know how things worked.
Yes, he was being overly protective, and he knew that in the span of nearly a decade, all three of those women had grown immeasurably stronger. Despite that, he couldnât hold back the unease he felt, especially since he hadnât known just how strong the women had gotten.
And although he felt like the three would refuse, they didnât.
ââŠGulp.â
âAh, so thatâs what itâs all about,â Nyx mumbled. âAre you actually about to prestige and go down there?â
âWhat do you suggest I do? I want to tell them a lot of things, and I donât want them to get beat up on the 95th boss floor either.â
Nyx rolled her eyes.
âWhy donât you just put your trust in them for starters?â
âNope. I want to see them more than I want to put my trust in them,â Rael replied.
Hearing that, Nyx just stared at him, wide-eyed.
That was when Rael continued:
âBelieve it or not, if my son is being a dumbass, and Vatyraâs allowing it, then it is what it is. On another note, I really want to see my wives, and even Gaia. I obviously want to climb higher, as I now know a bunch of stuff, but so do you. Check my memories, as Iâve already compiled everything that has to do with the literal next 200 floors.â
Nyx tilted her head slightly.
âSo you think you can just get rid of me and send me off?â
Rael paused for a moment.
âAre you going to prestige as well?â
She scoffed.
âObviously. Climbing without a purpose just to meet up with Renoir is boring. Heâs going to be dead set on finding his wife anyway. Speaking of⊠did you check?â
Rael knew what she was referring to, butâŠ
âI donât know her name.â
âHe mentioned an Eris when we were sitting and waiting for you earlier.â
Eris, huh?
âYou can now buy the identities of the forgotten!
âLooks like sheâs still with us,â Rael replied.
Nyx nodded and glanced over to Renoir.
âShould we tell him about the next couple hundred floors?â
Rael shrugged. âI doubt it would make a difference. He doesnât seem like someone whoâll change his ways just because he has some sort of different information. Not to mention, just his constructs alone could probably wipe out the majority of this tower, so Iâm sure we have nothing to worry about.â
Especially since what happened on the 95th floor doesnât happen at all in the next 200 floors.
And so, for that reason alone, Rael decided to not say anything. Instead, he would just give him a heads-up like the good friend that he was.
