He had his fun in the city, interacting with players and a bunch of other people, ate some delicious food, and of course, like the money junkie that he was, Rael bought out pretty much every property on the highest point of the Barb Mega City.

The reason he did that was because he wanted to rent those houses and apartments out to others. He would make some decent money, sure.

Though, to be truthful, the reason he really did that was simply because he could. He was rich, and he kept getting richer. It was only a matter of time until he had nothing more he wanted to do with his money.

Ahem…

Now though, Rael was finally in the mood, and so, when he landed in Celestara alongside Gaia, the first thing he did was change clothes. With his hair much shorter now, Rael didn’t look like a woman, so he actually got the attention of women rather than men.

Being admired by so many women, to the point they took pictures of him, was pretty fun and cute. Though, it wasn’t like Rael really wanted to get that much into it, since at the end of the day, none of these women here interested him.

So with that in mind, Rael simply reappeared in front of the palace, and as it so happened, Gaia tagged along as well.

Rael tilted his head. “You’re coming with me even after knowing what I’ll be doing?”

Gaia shrugged. “I won’t participate, but I am fairly curious… And slightly hungry. I wish to eat first.”

Right…

Well, whatever.

Rael raised a brow and replied.

Make-up in a bath?

What?

Uh-oh…

Well, they’re probably fine, right?

Rael gulped and then sighed, realizing that there wasn’t really anything he could do to stop this.

Well, there is, but I’m definitely not doing it. They can have their catfight and maybe become friendly, he thought, and then slowly went up to the mansion. Gaia followed way too closely for comfort, and although he had a feeling something like this was going to happen, he didn’t know what her intentions were.

She was much older than him, so she definitely knew what she was doing, especially when she said she won’t participate but she was fairly curious. Just how was he supposed to interpret it other than her actually being there and watching?

It was a little… awkward and weird.

“You sure you don’t want to join?”

Gaia sighed. “Your way of defusing the situation still sucks even to this day, Rael.”

Yep.

He figured as much.

Still, that didn’t stop him from entering the mansion alongside her and walking up to the bedroom. He heard a lot of tossing and breaking. He also heard some screaming. Obviously, a good husband would go check in on his wives.

But sadly for his wives, their good husband was very hungry.

“Anything you want to eat?” Rael offered as he led Gaia to the kitchen.

She pondered over it for a moment. “Perhaps some pineapple?”

“Pineapple? You want some fruit instead of some delicious steak?” Rael asked, slightly surprised. Seeing her determination, though, he decided to just get her some pineapple and chop it up into small pieces.

He offered her some sugar, but she didn’t want any. Instead, she just began scarfing down the pineapple like some gremlin. He found it pretty cute, and honestly, his appetite disappeared a little.

So just like her, he decided to eat a pineapple, some strawberries, apples, and of course, some bananas. They tasted great, and they didn’t really fill up his non-existent stomach much, so it was like a little snack.

He enjoyed it, and finally, he decided to check in on what was happening.

For the next couple of minutes, he didn’t get any sort of response back. Honestly, he began to think they might’ve killed each other by accident.

But it seemed like he was wrong, as when he was about to stand up and check in on them in person, he saw a message.

Hmm.

He sure was a sweet talker.

Hopefully.

“…”

“Welp. Gaia, if you’re so keen to check it out, I guess you can come. Though we have to go now, otherwise we’ll miss the fun.”

With those words, Rael finally made his move, walking back to his room, and even spotting a certain person he hadn’t expected to see.

It was Evelyn, the swordswoman. She was walking with an ice cream cone in hand, while also seeming much happier than before. When she glanced at Rael, instead of saying anything, she just smiled and walked past him, continuing on to the kitchen.

He didn’t mind it one bit, as instead, Rael focused on the door, and after a few seconds of hesitation, he finally opened it.
