Chapter 141: Constructing the Base

Inside the massive warehouse, countless transport robots bustled about. In the vast open area outside, over a hundred Village-Class spaceships were parked. Moreover, hovering above the satellite were at least ten times that number of ships.

Among these thousand Town-Class ships, ten were designated to transport the Arrow Beasts. The Arrow Beasts harbored deep hatred for the Swarm that had destroyed their homeland. All of these robots were equipped with miniature energy shields, providing them with exceptional defense. They were also constructed using special alloys infused with alien beast flesh, giving them superior strength. Their power systems were advanced, granting them excellent mobility and flexibility.

They were modeled after the human form—two arms, two legs—and had outstanding agility, allowing them to operate effectively in various terrains: mountains, hills, grasslands, even swamps. Their dexterous fingers could handle a wide range of tasks, from wielding ranged weapons to melee combat gear, with ease and precision.

They even had short-distance gliding capabilities. With this feature, they could fall from heights of up to twenty meters without damaging their structural integrity.

This was the “Ground-Type One” landing combat robot. In the near future, Xiao Yu planned to manufacture at least ten million of these to completely wipe out the Swarm on Planet One.

The six hundred-plus Village-Class ships descended to within ten meters of the surface and opened their cargo bays. As the doors opened, combat robots poured out like dumplings being dropped into boiling water, jumping down from the ships and, under Xiao Yu’s orders, swiftly scattering and forming a basic defensive perimeter.

During this process, the surrounding Town-Class ships assumed a guard role. They spread out across several dozen kilometers, delivering precise laser strikes to any bugs that dared to reveal themselves.

Once all the combat robots had landed, Xiao Yu said to Lorna, “You guys head down too. Remember—do not move more than ten kilometers away from this location. For now, your primary task is to assist the combat robots in guarding the area and protecting the construction units.”

The ten Town-Class ships had brought a total of over five hundred Arrow Beasts. These were carefully selected by Xiao Yu—only the strongest and most capable fighters among the Arrow Beasts. Once they exited the transport ships, the Arrow Beasts became lively. Some looked eager to leave and launch attacks elsewhere.
