Chapter 1420: Chapter 32: Erase the Earth! [Please Subscribe to the Official Version]
In the outer space beyond the Solar System, several single-person battleships emerged abruptly within this galaxy through a bright white portal, as if jumping through space.
âSo, this is the Solar System. Haha, just a small place. That guy actually stumbled here; what a joke.â
âDonât underestimate this Earth civilization. They themselves are not much, but the figure behind them is absolutely extraordinary. I previously inquired with the Auster Empire and the Ru Lan Empire; they both claim that this individual possesses strength comparable to a Respecter-level entity like us, and even surpasses in certain aspects.â
âOf course, I wonât be careless. If the figure isnât powerful, that guy wouldnât have sought our assistance. Hmph, no matter how strong he is, is it possible for him to struggle under the pressure of several Respecters like us? Heâs not the Chief Honoured Sir of the Great Empire, after all.â
Inside the battleships, the dialogue continued ceaselessly.
They appeared at a location not far from a blue planet.
This blue planet was alive with an atmosphere, and myriad spacecraft and battleships flew about, presenting a vibrant scene of an elementary civilization.
From their position, the distance to the blue planet was less than a million kilometers. If the battleships advanced, even at moderate speed, they could reach it within half an hour.
Bear in mind, their leap had spanned several light-years, arriving here with extreme precisionâit was a remarkable technological feat to use the Gravity Wave System to jump accurately over such distances.
âFor such a backward civilization to produce a powerful Strong One is quite intriguing.â
One by one, the Respecter-level emissaries held Earth in low regard. To them, this civilization was little better than primitive tribes.
Yet, unbeknownst to them, the existence they sought to meet on the blue planet had already detected their arrival and was charging toward them.
But before that, these emissaries first encountered the âemissaryâ flying 10,000 kilometers above Earth.
âZhaopi An, look at youâa pathetic creature defeated by such a trivial Earth civilization! Youâve truly disgraced the Great Empire.â
One of the Great Empire emissaries laughed loudly through Brainwave Power upon seeing him.
âIndeed, this tiny Earth doesnât even qualify as an elementary civilization. Their fleet could be obliterated with a single shot, and as for their biological creatures, although they resemble us, they are as feeble as the weakest pets in the Empire. That such a civilization could cause your downfall just shows your incompetence.â
From the battleships, several humanoid figures stepped out, their appearances similar to Earth people.
Among them was one with colorful skinâclearly not of Earth originâbut the others resembled Earth humans enough to blend into Earthâs population seamlessly.
These entities amounted to four individuals. Adding Zhaopi An, who arrived from Earth, there were five Great Empire emissaries gathered in total.
âHmph, laugh at me if you wish, but if you meet Jia Yan, you wonât be laughing anymore. Donât say I didnât warn youâthis Jia Yan is not someone to trifle with.â
Zhaopi Anâs handsome face twisted with a touch of anger. His failure on Earth was destined to be recorded in the annals of the Great Empireâs missions, tarnishing his future prospects permanently.
âHaha, are you joking? If Jia Yan were so formidable, you wouldnât have survived. Besides, weâre this close now; if he were truly powerful, he would have noticed our arrival. Why havenât we seen him yet?â
âExactly! If there really is a top-tier figure among these Earth primitives, Iâd like to meet them myself.â
Two of the emissaries mocked Zhaopi Anâs words, almost breaking into laughter.
But their words had barely left their lips when a sound, which drastically shifted their expressions, appeared abruptly near them!
âHaha, since you wish to meet me, Jia Yan, I shall grant your wish.â
The voice was light and refreshing, like a gentle spring breeze, yet in the gathering of emissaries, no figure appeared, leaving them slightly unnerved.
âWho is it?â One emissary, startled by the voice, looked alarmedly to his side.
But there was nothing to be found.
âJia Yan?!â Zhaopi An, upon hearing the voice, underwent a dramatic change in expression. Its owner had humiliated him half a month agoâhe could not forget it.
His face darkened as he glanced around, but like the others, he could not locate the source of the voice.
âJia Yan, show yourself!â Zhaopi Anâs unease surged sharply.
That same unfathomable senseâthe memory of being crushed to the point of coughing blood under Jia Yanâs imposing presence during their last encounterâfilled him once again, causing him to shiver.
âWant me to appear? Very well, as you wish.â
As this reply resonated, a space nearby the emissaries distorted.
Such a phenomenon, never seen before, left the emissaries wide-eyed. They hastily moved to distance themselves.
In the Orion Arm, cultivation categorizations were virtually unknown, and Space Talent rare to the extreme. So encountering someone who could appear from Subspace left them stunned like unseasoned fools.
After a moment of observation, they saw within that distorted area of space a manâs figure stepping out.
The man was not tall, standing merely 1.75 meters. His appearance was not conventionally handsome, but his aura made him unforgettable at first glance.
It was the aura of one who had survived countless battles, making his presence utterly magnetic; especially when compared to the emissaries before him, his kingly demeanour overshadowed their apparent sophistication, rendering them hesitant to meet his gaze.
âYou⊠you are Jia Yan?!â
The emissaries, one by one, watched Jia Yan emerge gracefully from Subspace. His demeanor, particularly his eyes filled with faint contempt as they swept over them, startled rather than angered them.
Strong Ones are unmistakably so, and Jia Yan, shedding any intent to conceal himself, projected his potency even in the subtlest gestures. They instantly recognized him as a fearsome opponent.
âGreetings, everyone. I am Jia Yan.â
Jia Yan maintained his composure, offering the emissaries a courteous nod.
âZhaopi An, is this the Jia Yan you spoke of? Indeed, he seems to possess some strengthâas for that invisibility technique, donât tell me you arenât aware of its workings?â
One Respecter squinted at Jia Yan while also addressing the trembling Zhaopi An through Brainwave Power.
âI truly donât know how he managed to use such an invisibility ability. But surely, it has weaknesses. Though we couldnât detect him earlier, such an ability must have limits in battle; otherwise, it would be far too overpowering.â Zhaopi An uncomfortably replied.
He needed these emissaries to defeat Jia Yan. If he appeared too intimidated, they might decide it was unwise to engage and flee.
âThatâs likely the case. After all, we are all Respecters. His Brainwave power fluctuation is slightly weaker than ours, so this combat skill is undoubtedly constrained,â the other emissary noted with slight relief.
Meanwhile, Jia Yan returned their gaze. After some silent scrutiny of the emissaries, he finally spoke.
âI presume you are emissaries from the Great Empire. May I ask why you have gathered near the mother planet of Earthâs civilization today?â
His words drew the emissaries back to reality.
âJia Yan, are you asking why weâre here? You defied the orders of our Great Empireâs emissaries, and even injured one. This constitutes a grave crime. How do you intend to atone for it?â
One emissary, seemingly the strongest among them, stepped forward with eyes glinting sharply and questioned Jia Yan.
Jia Yan smiled faintly, though a trace of anger rose within him.
âHaha, your Great Empire emissaries came to Earth. My civilization gave you utmost respectânot only did we rush to construct an embassy, but we also held a grand welcome banquet. However, your Great Empire demanded more, abducting Auster and Ru Lan personnel who were aiding our civilization and attempting to turn Earth into a slave supplier for your Empireâs military. Although I, Jia Yan, am of limited strength, I must resist your actions.â
Jia Yanâs words rang with clarity and sincerity, echoing his convictions.
Yet, the emissaries burst into laughter upon hearing him.
âJia Yan, your words are far too naive. You, a seasoned Strong One of the universe, should know better. The universe observes survival of the fittest. Earth, a civilization weaker than even primitive tribes, should feel honored to exist under the shadow of our Great Empireâa Star Empire that spans hundreds of light-years. By not obliterating Earth outright, weâve already extended great mercy. And you speak of defiance? Believe me, if we choose to exercise our mandate, we will eradicate both you, the brazen rebel, and your Earth species from the cosmos!â
The emissaries were incensed. They had long dominated this region of the starry sky. The few notable empires here posed no challenge to them, and now, a primitive civilization dared offer resistance?
For such a low-producing civilization, elimination would mean little.
Yet just as the emissary prepared to show weaponry in threats, Jia Yan, standing opposite them, revealed a smile.
But this was no ordinary smileâit was a laugh born of wrath.
